We asked for onion rings as an appetizer, and was told 30 minutes later that they were sold out, due to a couple parties earlier. It was Monday afternoon at 2:00 pm??? The rest of the food was very good.

This was by far one of the best meals I have ever had. We both had the half rack of ribs with the honey BBQ sauce. Very well cooked. The meat was tender with plenty on the bones and the flavor was outstanding. This was the first time we had eaten in a Chedders and we were not disappointed. The service was quite good and our server was attentive. The price was a good value. My side items were mashed potatoes (real, not boxed) and slaw (perfectly seasoned). My beverage of choice was sweet tea, again sweetened just right, not too sweet. We will definitely eat here again.

Cheddars is a good place to stop for a good meal at a great price, three can eat for under $ 30 and you will be full. The country fried chicken is very tender the green beans are a little different they are kind of sweet tasting and the mashed promotes were pretty good.

Large variety of delicious foods. From a Monti Cristo to Dijon chicken and shepherds pie there’s a little bit of everything on the menu to satisfy the pickiest foodies. A personal favorite are the honey butter glazed fresh croissants. Customer service is almost always on spot. I tend to be a very picky eater and alter menus to meet my tastes. Cheddars has always been accommodating and so far (3 visits) hasn’t even messed up my order! The prices are very reasonable and the portions are large. The broccoli casserole is a must try, and if your children like chicken tenders, Cheddars has some of the best.

I was hesitant to give a review at first because we were initially left alone when the hostess seated us, but our waiter redeemed the restaurant with excellent service and thoughtful attitude as soon as he was assigned to our table. Be sure to ask for Ricky Slack if you ever eat here! Fantastic treatment!!!

Not a bad restaurant at all, the service could improve but all and all it was a good experience. The food is great, and the Mac and Cheese was a pleasant surprise.

First time I had been here, it was great. Our sever was Rose, very polite and she could answer questions about things on the menu. I had the key west chicken and shrimp, it was so delicious. I’ve never had chicken cooked so done and it was so juicy. The spices on the shrimp and chicken was amazing just the right amount of heat. I’ll be looking forward to going back here in the future.

Tonight was the worst!!! Servers was not friendly… Takes forever to take orders. Two couples was side by side with us come after us, got there food b4 us which we order first… We asked to talk to the manager. Never see him show up, until 10 min later the server come with the food we order, my husband decided to cancel!!! It took them 45 min to bring the food and we haven’t seen the manager at all. I went to this place few time with my family… The servers b4 was absolutely GREAT but tonight we got the worst server ever! As myself I worked for the public and I know exactly how to treat my customers. They seem not cared at all!!!

I just came back through here the other day and this place is the bomb… I had ribs and I mean ribs… a full rack. so much food that I wobbled to my truck… love it, you have to go, there is one in Roanoke VA also, I love them both… and the sweet tea was perfect…

Selected this restaurant after reading all the Unilocal reviews. Defintly agree with those before me. Good menu selection, nice size portions and decent prices. Our waitress was very good. Our daughters baked potato was brought out a half hour before her meal, we had already decided to ask for another one but when our waitress arrived with our meal she had already brought a replacement without us asking… very nice. Only complaint was an extremly long wait for our food, but was defintly warned ahead of time so really can’t complain, heard the PGA was in town. Appetizer and salads were very quick but food took 45 minutes. Waitress kept drinks filled and we were forced to do nothing but use the time play candy crush on our phones. Lol… forced!!!

This Cheddar’s was very good. They had decent food (3 ordered burgers and I got the Chicken and Waffles). Their strawberry lemonade was very good and refreshing. The prices were excellent! Wait staff was quick and attentive.
I like the décor in this place along with the large fish tank!

See my original review for full details. But I stand by the three-​star rating. Still only broccoli offered as a healthful side option. I had a steak, which was dry and not flavorful, and ribs, which were very tender and delicious, though less meaty than some I’ve had at other places. The service was fast and good, and the variety on the menu is great for an American place.

Arrived at Cheddars and was excited to try the restaurant for the first time… REVIEW * DEC 23, 2012
Caesar salad, loaded potato, chicken pecan salad — Sat quickly was the only positive. Arrived at lunchtime, ordered half/​half tea, got only sweet tea. Ordered a salad yet had no pears for salad. Ordered a different sald, arrived with no dressing. Ordered fish tacos that appeared to have sat under the heat lamps the entire 45 minutes it took to get the food. Potato was over cooked and hard at each end. Caesar salad was buried in dressing. Overall it was a poor experience and will play a large role in not returning in the future. Probably only a bad day, yet my experience appears consistent with many other comments.

I have now been back to Cheddar’s a few more times since my last review because my parents really like going despite its flaws. I bumped it up a star because the food has been consistently good and the prices are fair. However, the service has been sketchy just about every time I’ve gone and you have to wait an hour before you get your food. For example, my cousin ordered a salad and she had to remind the waitress three or four times that she had ordered one. Her meal came out and she still did not have her salad until 20 minutes after she got her food. If they could just improve the service and speed, this place would be great!
