We would not recommend this restaurant. We were traveling through Beckley and thought it would be an ok dinner stop. The salad(a few iceberg pieces) was literally drowning in dressing. The bento box came with vegetables soaked in a mysterious Chinese brown sauce, with overly fried rice, neither of which we could stomach. Definitely not a healthy option. Although the service was friendly, we do not recommend the food.

Sushi chef is very good. I’ve been going here for a couple of years and have always been very pleased. Let the sushi chef do his thing and enjoy! The crowds on Friday and Saturday after being open for a few years are evidence that this is a good place for sushi and Japanese style foods. Good bar. Wines are decent and staff friendly.
