An oasis in a area lacking in good coffee and bagels. They also bake their own croissants! The adorable staff personalizes their service with friendliness, attentiveness and even a touch of flirty sass. I eat it up! A perfect morning stop by the Myrtle/​Willoughby G.

Their espresso is the best tasting I think I have had anywhere in the city ! I get it straight — not in a latte or whatever so its easy to tell a quality bean from a burn cheap one :) They have ridiculously delicious egg croissant sandwiches with cabot cheddar that I have to force myself not to order on the regular. Im happy my neighborhood has this spot, and right by the subway !

S’ok. It’s open the earliest in the area.
Not a «sit down and get comfy with your laptop» kind of coffee shop, though they have a few counter seats. Grab and go recommended.
They do have a restroom.

I adore this place! Every morning I get an iced mocha and a chocolate croissant. The staff is the sweetest and it’s a quick, easy stop-​in before the G train. Love!!!

Love this place. We go here every morning before hopping on the G to get to work.
Food is yummy, and the drinks are great. But even better are the staff.
Shane is the best, and all the folks who work there are super sweet. Anyone who says the staff is «surly» is a stodgy loser.

hot spot in Brooklyn! we stayed at an airbnb around the corner and went to that tiny coffee spot before heading to the airport. cappuccino, almond milk cortado and chocolate croissant for a bit more than $ 9 — wow! friendly staff, good coffee (probably not the best I’ve had in NY though) and magazines to read. YES YES YES.

I come in here almost everyday and have stopped going to all the other coffee shops in the hood! Everything I order is delicious & consistent. The pastries & croissant sandwiches are yummy & indulgent. Everyone who works there is very kind & cheery. Keep up the great work.

Almond milk cortado is where it’s at! They have the best coffee in the neighborhood. Perfectly located by the Myrtle Willoughby train stop.

This is a GREAT café. It popped up just under a year ago around the corner from my place and it has become my boyfriend and I’s morning go-​to. They keep a witty riddle on their sandwich board outside, which I love. Every time I walk in, I am greeted by the warmth of not only the space but of the people who work there. The coffee is SUPER yummy, and they bake their pastries in-​house which keeps them fresh and always making me want one! I recommend the egg pastry as well as the croissant sandwiches. AND– all very reasonably priced.
Starting my long days at Marcy & Myrtle is definitely something I look forward to. Go for it!
