Arbors on Forest Ridge Apartments

The apartments are all one bedroom, so there are few children. This is a major plus for me. The grounds are reasonably well kept, except for the mountains of dog turds that some inconsiderate owners of large breeds leave, with impunity, for the rest of us.
If you enjoy a quiet lifestyle with mostly considerate neighbors, and don’t mind the passive-​aggresive toned notes sent out by the assistant manager who could use a business English class, the occasional lost rent check (resulting in more bipolar notes that begin «this is a friendly reminder» and ending with «must be paid by secured funds»), and non-​negotiable rent increases, then you will like The Arbors on Forest Ridge just fine.
If you pay your rent with a credit/​debit card, there is an exorbitant fee. The swimming pool is always operational in the wintertime, frequently closed in the summer.

Horrible management. I was schedule to move in since July and a week before my move in date for November I get a phone call saying the new manager voided all of my information and was going to raise my rent that was already locked in for months. She also told me I was not going to get the upgraded apartment that I already had put my deposit down for. I paid my deposit through the company THEY suggested and they decide to wait one week till I move in to tell me they have not received anything and they wanted all of my work stubs and everything again. When I spoke to the property manager she was very rude and told me nothing was in my file which was a complete lie and told me that my application had expired and that she was going up on my rent because the prices change daily which I then responded telling her I paid my deposit and had proof of it and she could not go up on my rent since it was locked in on the day I paid the deposit. They completely screwed me over and I will never recommend these apartments to anyone ever. I have also reported them to the BBB for all the troubles they have caused me and the bind they put me in. Absolutely horrible management.
