Brown Appraisal Team

The owner Greg does not know real estate and I not use the company under any circumstances if it was not forced upon me. The owner is incompetent and has no actual real estate experience. He was also 5 hours late submitting the appraisal and would not use comps we provided. This guy needs to go out of business and get a job at the nearest Whataburger.

Grapevine Texas. 1 Star is the lowest i could go on the review, in reality it should be Zero Star, «Yikes run like hell». Recently i decided to have my house appraised as my equity was within 2pts of qualifying for a PMI waiver. My credit union selected Brown Appraisal Team to do the job. I specifically paid the extra fee for the complete house (including interior) as we had spent a considerable sum on renovations, $ 54K. When the appraisal was submitted the Brown Team appraised my house for $ 500 less than it had been appraised for 6 years ago. It should be noted I live in Grapevine within the Colleyville school district. The average sale price of homes, sold recently, was $ 20K more than i paid for my house. I had even submitted to the appraiser a detailed list of upgrades made to the property. When i called them to contest the appraisal the agency informed the credit union that the appraisal was correct as is. After much coercing i managed the credit union to do a second appraisal on the home, at their cost. I just received the appraisal today and guess what… it was appraised for $ 35K higher than the Brown Team had appraised at. This meant an increase of the home value of $ 35K over six years. The Brown Team is incompetent, unresponsive, unprofessional and completely out of touch with the business they are in. When you have an appraisal on your home be sure to ask the lender who is doing it, and stay away from the Brown Appraisal Team, you will just be wasting your money.
