Downtown Bedford is really a well kept up little town with many things to do and see. Founders Crossing is a must see for those who like antiques and more modern«old type» stuff. Newer craft items and so on take up most of the first floor while the antiques are down on the basement level. Really, a beautiful selection and a fine way to reuse an old downtown five-and-dime type store. No, you won’t find flea market type stuff here, not much at least. For that you need to head down 30 east to Hoke-E-Geez.

This is a fun place. It was a nice selection of antiques, crafts and collectibles. I found quite a few things that I wasn’t looking for, but was quite tempted to buy. Overall, it was a great way to spend an hour in the lovely town of Bedford.

A very large collection of consigners, very much worth the trip. Antiques downstairs and arts and crafts stuff upstairs. My wife and I took about 2 hours to browse our way through everything, mostly downstairs looking for things for her collections. They have a little bistro upstairs also. We loved the place!

Whenever I’m looking for something unique as a gift I always go to Founders Crossing. This place is full of hidden treasures and room after room of interesting novelties. The top half is more crafty type stands along with a little luncheon area. The bottom half is a blast from the past with antiques for as far as the eye can see. I really enjoy founders crossing every time I stop it’s like a new adventure.

This is the antique and artisan haven I was telling you about which also houses The Eatery On this same floor you will find an antique gallery with many one of a kind pieces from the eighteen to nineteen hundreds. This huge building has three full floors with over one hundred and forty five antique vendors. The offerings range from old glass, china, lamps, some furniture, jewelry and pottery. If you are not into antiques or vintage items(hello, I am like so into it) they have many artisans filling the space with handcrafted wood, furniture, ceramics, dolls, toll painting and ironware. Country collectibles, candles and many items that would make perfect gifts. I buy lots of things meaning to give them as gifts and then can’t part with them. Bad habit of mine, sort of like buying lottery tickets as stocking stuffers and it drives me crazy that it could be the big winner, so I accidentally scratch it on purpose. Founders Crossing is a cool way to reminisce, stroll for a few hours and run up your charge card. I love it!

An absolutely massive antique mall. If you are looking for something small, fragile and frilly you will probably find it here. They have some pieces of furniture but it is mainly old ornaments, collectibles, country type stuff. I started getting dizzy after about 10 minutes in there.
