Possibly some of the best pizza around! Chicago style, meatball, onion, green pepper, black olive and mushroom was our order last night. Yum! Good prices, generous toppings, and not-too-sweet sauce. We always get carry out so just be warned that if you dine in, there are no public restrooms… the quirky building was Grandfathered in and it is not a requirement for them.

Not much to say about this place save that if you’re looking for a low cal meal look else where. The pizza will leave your napkin soaked with grease and the cheese is thick enough to use as a blanket. There hasn’t been one time the delivery driver hasn’t been baked out of his mind either so we always get a kick out messing with him when he comes to our door. Like the time I answered the door in my police uniform I wear for Halloween. His eyes grew wider than the moon and he acted sober real quick. All in all the pizza has never failed to taste to good.

Visited at 8pm Friday night. Two other customers in restaurant. Ordered breadsticks, chicken wing appetizer and a cheese pizza, Breadsticks arrived almost immediately and were stale — definitely not made to order. We chose garlic butter and cheese dipping sauces. Chicken wings were spicy(waitress told us «if you like spicy you won’t like these», but they were very spicy and had an unappetizing consistency). Next came the pizza, which was very good especially after the other food. After complaining to the waitress that the wings were not good, we were told that they could not be discounted and we would pay full price after being told the wings weren’t spicy. I understand tastes vary, but charging full price for food customers don’t like is an odd policy. One star for good pizza. Zero stars for everything else.

Rating pizza is like rating perfume — sort of depends on your tastes. We tried this place after reading so many 5-star Unilocal reviews. It was good but a little too doughy. We like more tomato sauce & cheese, less crust. Was a 4-star in terms of cleanliness too. Still was a fun adventure. We will probably go back.

Yes, Yes, Yes! The best. Believe me when I tell you to take a turn and drive into Grecco’s. Amazing

This is a terrible place to eat food. The Stromboli was made with Texas toast and was soggy. The meatballs must have been from a bag and microwaved because there were hot and cold spots. The pizza was undercooked. If you’re not a local forget about service. If you’re in Bedford and think, «huh, I want some pizza.» Go somewhere else.

I’ve had Bazbeaux in Indianapolis, I’ve had Gino’s in Chicago… but this is my favorite pizza of all time. I grew up in the area and feel fortunate to, simply because of Grecco’s. It’s the oldest restaurant in Lawrence County and their food is the root of their long-lasting success. From the breadsticks to the pizza to the strombolis, the whole menu is fantastic. Each time I go back to my hometown, I make a point to stop here. It’s a must-have if you’re passing through Bedford.

Great food! Pizza crust is not tough, the toppings are just the right amount, the stroms are to die for. The food is always very good. My husband brought me to Grecco’s to share the experience when we were dating and after 40 plus years we are still going!

Grecco’s was the first mom and pop Italian restaurant that I visited when I was a child. It has outlived all of the corporate pizza delivery places that have popped up in Bedford over the years. Grecco’s has survived for so long due to the incredible food that is served here. If your a true Italian food snob then don’t go here, because your going to miss the point of Grecco’s. Grecco’s brings a style of Italian to the southern Indiana that was vacant until the corporate chains arrived. It’s survived all of these years with great food and by establishing a huge local fan base.

This is a tiny place we almost overlooked. A local told us to go back, and I am sooo glad they did. The place isn’t beautiful, but looks like a pizza place. We asked the waitress what to order and she suggested a supreme pizza. She added a suggestion of freshly made bread sticks, so we ordered them too. The bread sticks came out piping hot and they were the most tender dough we have ever ate. The pizza came shortly after and was exactly as fresh, tender and airy! The toppings were truly fresh and felt like they just came in from the garden. The cheese did not overpower the toppings or the spectacular crust. This experience was so wonderful we returned when we came back through town this week. The experience of fantastic food was again accomplished by Grecco’s Pizza! I cannot say enough about this crust! The second visit we tried their Parmesan cheese(you know that shaker on the table that the kids use) and I want to say, I have never tasted such fresh and fluffy Parmesan cheese ever! Even better than any Italian restaurant that was fresh grated on my meal. Kudos to this pizza place for fabulous food! I here their sandwiches are great also. Maybe next time… but I don’t think we can miss out on that crust!
