I was a customer behind Tim. O. of Lexington who gave the very sweet owner a very difficult time. Both he and his wife were rude and complained for several minutes while the owner maintained her composure and smiled the whole time. They were not happy with the prices and after listening to their many complaints, she finally she suggested that they shop around if they were not satisfied with Lapels. No snarky attitude as they suggested, rather she was very patient and accommodating. Since they are from Lexington, not Bedford, I suggest they do business closer to home. BTW, the guy behind me listening to their tirade commended the owner for her patience in dealing with very difficult customers and I agreed…

Lapels attempts to make doing business with them very convenient. However, prices are higher than competitors, manager tries to «up sell» services in every way possible and when i commented on pricing, I was encouraged to go elsewhere. Very snarky attitude for customer service. Quality same as competitors.

Does a great job for alterations and repairs. Quality work that I’ve seen thus far. I cannot comment on the dry cleaning portion of work, but they seem to still be busy.

Good service and alteration! I had some clothes to be altered asap, and a tailor there altered my clothes within 2 days. I was very satisfied with service and quality of alteration.

Unfortunately Paul no longer owns Lapels. The new owner seems to keep it as clean as Paul did and has also added a tailor. Unfortunately she has raised prices and even charges extra for cleaning services (like spot cleaning) that is normally included in dry cleaning services. Also, she charges more for designer labeled clothing. Mens suits that are $ 15 to dry clean she charges $ 25 just for the designer name. There are so many dry cleaners in Bedford that are less expensive, do an amazing job, and are much friendlier that there is no reason to use Lapels.

There are a *lot* of competing dry cleaners in the Bedford area (one is right across the street), but I consistently give my business to Lapels.
I like the environmentally friendly aspect, but even more, I like the friendly service of Paul Sickorez and his staff. He’s always been willing to do whatever he can to get my laundry back ASAP, and they’re one of the few e-​mail lists I have on my name on. (This despite the fact that we don’t live in the area.)
