Love this place. For $ 10 you can go in and play all the games you want for free for as long as you’d like. For $ 12, you can do the above and drink beer, or wine, or whatever you prefer(BYOB). We always opt for the second. They have a cooler you can keep your things in and have some glasses as well. They probably have 40 pinball machines, skiball, golden tee, old music players, pacman, air hockey, etc. Every machine in there is for sale and they are constantly getting new stuff. In the center of the machines are some high top tables to sit at and hang out.

I really didn’t know what to expect when I scheduled this as part of our trip, but when we got there, it was awesome. There’s a room with 50+ pinball machines, vintage and new, skeeball, arcade bowling, and more. The deal is great: you pay $ 10, and you can play to your heart’s content. All of the machines are on free play. Had a great time!

Pinball is in my blood. I’ve been playing since I was big enough to stretch my arms around the machine and reach the flipper buttons. And even as a child I was racking up high scores and free games. There are much better pinball players out there. I encountered some of these truly talented folks in the arcade where I went to college. But on a recent trip to Bedford, I proved to my wife and kids that I’ve still got it. Specifically, I got the high score on the AC/DC machine and the second highest score on Terminator 2. The T2 machine was one of my favorites during those college years. Thank you Pinhead Amusements for opening your doors in Bedford. For $ 10 the public can come in and play as much as they can stand. It’s not the biggest pinball museum in the country, but in a day and age when pinball machines are hard to find, every one of these places is a gem. Almost all of the machines have price tags, in case you want to take home your favorite. What I did not expect was for machines to be packed up on trucks while the place was open to the public. After setting the high score on AC/DC, I went and played a few machines in another row. But when I returned, the machine was gone. It will be interesting to see how many of the machines will be different by the time I return to the region this summer. But Pinhead is now one of my must do attractions in the area.
