Used the bathroom here, it was super clean and neat. The entire facility looked so clean and there are a lot of areas to sit and enjoy some food. Looks like a new facility and it’s definitely maintained very well.

Definitely one of the best rest stops I’ve ever been to! Clean, large bathrooms, lots of food options(Starbucks, Aunt Anne’s, Sbarro and Steak n’ Shake), a convenience store, an interesting little exhibit on the history of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, and a handy map of stops and amenities along the rest of the road. Makes the crazy turnpike fees worth it!

ABSOLUTELYHORRIBLEEXPERIENCE. Waiting in line…2 or 3 people behind me. 3 associates behind the counter. No one paid us any attention for a few minutes. After waiting a while, woman says are you wanting to order?” I said«yes.» She responded with a harsh tone«well then you should probably stand up at the counter!» I said she had a line could she not see that and rudely she asks what I want to order. I left. First and last time at Steak ‘n Shake.

Unless you have been in a wheelchair, you can’t imagine the horror of trying to find handicap parking, handicap restrooms or handicap seating. This is the most accommodating place we have ever had the pleasure of using. The family restroom is huge, and easy to use if you need to assist a handicap person. The dining areas is huge and open and CLEAN. You can wheel up to a table, easily, and have plenty of room without taking up the entire area. Heading east from Cleveland, this is one place we stop every time we take a trip. Don’t, please don’t, rave on about prices. Try finding an accessible restroom in the middle of nowhere. Scary. Especially if you can’t find a handicap parking space to load and unload. Safe, clean, reliable, and accessible: PRICELESS

This is by far my favorite rest stop on the PA turnpike(Eastbound). Renovated within the last couple of years, it is still as clean and relaxing as when the doors first opened. The inside is huge with a log cabin vibe, wood everywhere. There are even two working fireplaces. There’s a Steak ‘n’ Shake, Starbucks and pizza place(Sbarro, I believe). We usually just eat at Steak ‘n’ Shake since we don’t have one near us. Of course the prices are a little inflated, but you’re paying for convenience. If you have some time to kill, the flat screen TV in the dining room plays a short film on the history of the Turnpike and there are pictures and memorabilia all over — a mini museum, really. There’s also free WiFi.

The only reason I’m rating this rest stop is because I’ve never been to a CLEANER rest stop in my LIFE! Out of all the service stations on the PA Turnpike I would stop at this one. They have a solid select of fast food including Starbucks, Steak and Shake, Pizza, and warm pretzels. Great seating, decorative fire place, and cute decorations.

Stopped here on the way back from Pittsburgh today. Why was the Starbucks more expensive here that in NYC? When I asked, the girl say because we are on the turnpike! Huh… at nearly $ 6 for a grande?

This place is clean and niiiiiiicceeee! Wood floors, delicious pizza, 24 hour Starbucks… what more do you want? Also, plenty of urinals, plenty off parking, not too crowded on a Sunday night at 7pm… nice!

Why would anyone rate a rest stop? Probably because some are so awful, you’d want to avoid it. This one has been upgraded and is pretty nice. Restrooms are updated and clean. Restaurants are basic. I love Steak and Shake, but be prepared to wait — they warn you of this. The other restaurants are OK, and yes there is a Starbucks. OK to stop if you need to.

Nice stop. We had a slice of pizza and a stomboli at the Sbarro Pizza place. There is also a Steak and Shake & Auntie Anne’s Pretzel. Everything appeared clean and up to par. Got in and out rather quickly and back on the road.

This is a fairly nice(and new) service plaza. There’s a Steak & Shake, Auntie Anne’s, Starbucks, a Sunoco @ convenience store, and a pizza place(I can’t remember the name). There’s also quite a bit of historical information about the turnpike displayed in this service plaza. The staff is ok, although they could be better. Overall, it’s a nice service plaza.

Don’t go to the steak and shake… They called our order number but only my burger was done. Our three shakes were still being made(and messed up). In the time it took me to eat my burger and over salted fries, our shakes were finally done. So disappointing… The bathrooms were clean and stocked though!
