Subway

I work across the street but stopped coming some time ago because the service was absolutely horrible. A few weeks ago, I heard from some co-​workers that it was under new management and it had gotten much better… and it has!
There’s usually a line at lunchtime but it moves very fast and they still take the time to ask you how your day is going and exchange pleasantries. It’s the same three people everyday: a gentleman in a black shirt (who I think is the manager), another gentleman and a young lady. They are all very wonderful and extremely friendly.
The reason I only gave it four stars is because nighttime is still very questionable. It’s always the same young lady who seems more concerned with her cell phone than taking care of customers. She acts like it’s a nuisance to stop what she’s doing and make your sandwich. She seems to have gotten even worse since she’s dyed her hair fire truck red… yes, fire truck red!
I was in there tonight though and there was a lady I hadn’t seen before who said her name was Lori. She was absolutely amazing. I asked her about snotty cell phone girl and she said she was no longer there so hopefully the night shift will start to match the day shift standards.

Call ahead of time to see if they even have the bread u desire, this is my second visit here in 2 months and both times I’ve come, they’re out of bread… you’d think that subway would stay stocked up but not this location… so…looks like I won’t b back to this location… Geez and I was looking forward to 12 inch jalapeño bread chicken breast and bacon… oh well, can’t fix disorganized or lazy I guess, how hard is it to have bread on hand… get it together subway!!!

Went to this location today at 6:40 in the evening and planned on getting 2 sandwichs, to my extreme dissapointment I was only able to get 1 sandwich made due to them not having any bread baked, and no sandwich meat/​cheeses to choose from. When asked why I simply got «no one ordered anything».
This location is always hiring, every month there is new employees, which means alot of turnover and shady cheap owners. It is what it is… the hospital workers is what keeps this place open imo.

I don’t know who owns the Subway franchise at the 3700 Cheek Sparger rd., Store #50 048, but he best send in a secret shopper and watch his staff. We were in line for 20 minutes behind 2 ladies that seem to know the young man (Jason) behind the counter and both the employee and the ladies were in SLOW motion. He acted like he only had to build ONE-​Sandwich for the day and was going take his sweet time.
People kept coming in and leaving without ordering. I’ve never seen so much meat on any sandwich ever, much less a Subway. He could barely close it. The next lady ordered a salad and asked for and received 4 different meats and received large portions of each.
I was ready to leave, but my wife was determined to order. She also noticed that the prices rang up for about half of the price the items should have been. Then once we finally ordered ours, it was back to the minimum portions he could give.
I normally don’t review chain resturants, but I’m making an exception.

This place was clean, the atmosphere was nice and the man who helped us was very friendly and helpful. All of our sandwiches were fresh and tasted delicious. We would definitely eat here again.

I don’t really have a problem with Subway except that Subway’s sandwiches always taste so fresh that they barely taste like anything at all.
I usually try to increase the flavor by getting cheddar cheese, cheddar and herb bread, and the zesty olive vinaigrette on my Italian BMT.
It’s funny how one place (Subway) tastes so bland (even toasted), but others (Quiznos, Which Wich, Fire House) have so much flavor.
Just meh…
