The time I spent at Uniquely Couture was among the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Maddie was incredibly generous with her time and gracious with my indecision. She listened to me, watched me try on dress after dress, and brought out styles I wouldn’t have chosen. I was surprised by my final choice because it wasn’t what I thought going in, but I couldn’t be happier! She is very good at her work, and will make you feel absolutely comfortable and confident no matter how long or how meandering your path to finding the perfect wedding dress. I’m not one for drama or sentimentality, but I will admit, even I teared up a little when I found my wedding dress. And I owe that to Maddie’s patience and good eye. Also, the store is lovely. Clean, large and has a very wide selection. Worth the trip from Boston. I felt more welcome and better cared for at Uniquely Couture than at the bridal shops I visited in the city.

Meh… it was an ok place to go. It wasn’t my first time trying on bridal dresses, I was looking for long sleeve lace options. The boutique was really nice, cozy, and welcoming for brides and their entourage, I was impressed. My consultant was nice(her name is slipping my mind), she was attentive and patient. Not as knowledgable about the dresses as some others I have experienced at other places, but she was ok. I explained to her my budget was $ 1500, she didn’t pull anything for my less than $ 1800! I understand that lace is expensive and that’s what I was looking for, but I told her from the start what my budget was. Frustrating. I found one that WOW’d me, asked her if there was any wiggle room with the price($ 1800) and she went back to the owner to ask. She returned and said they could take off $ 100! $ 100! C’mon… never mind the fact she explained she could respect this«discount» that day only, and if I return at a later date they would charge full price. I was insulted. They really didn’t give me the feeling that they cared about their brides. There are better places out there to buy your dress ladies! Try MODERNBRIDAL in Bedford, NH!

I met these folks first at a bridal expo show in Windham at the Castelton, then in Manchester at the Radisson. The first time, I talked to the owner. I expressed how in the 2 – 3 months since I get engaged and was looking at dresses, I found that every dress was the same… they basically ALL look the same and how I was looking for something a little different. She just stared at me. No «come in and see us and we can show you some great, offbeat dresses,» NOTHING. Just a blank stare. We walked away and my mom said«she didn’t know what to do with you!»(I was very friendly)…I thought, a good business owner would be trying to get business, or at least be honest and say«yes, we really only carry traditional dresses» so I’d at least know it’s not a fit for me. Then, in Manchester, I stopped at their booth as I didn’t see the owner and talked to Jill, one of the bridal consultants. I told her the same thing, all dresses I see are the same. She very excitedly said to please let them prove me wrong and come in and look at what they had, that she knew they could change my mind. I was stoked, and feeling like they COULD change my mind. After all, isn’t the word«unique» IN the name of your store? A day after the expo she emailed me saying the same, please come in and let us prove that they have«different» dresses, and to please look at their website also to see that. I wrote back and thanked her for the quick email and expressed that I was also having a tad bit of anxiety about trying on dresses, and that I knew I wanted a dress w/sleeves. I mentioned that I did look at their site and saw ONLY sleeveless dresses, and did they have any that were not? I even pointed out 2 specific style numbers I liked,(as I took the time to browse them ALL…) if they only had sleeves. It seems all the magazines and stores cater to the«skinny white bride» and not to someone who wants something different and who’s not a size 4. Again the email was super nice and friendly and I even suggested maybe I can come in and just browse dresses, THEN make an appt to try some on if I find some I like. She emailed me on June 19. My response was on June 24. NOTHING… not even a reply from them. I’m so disappointed… not to mention it’s extremely rude. At least reply and tell me ok yes, those ARE the only kind of dresses we have, yes we do only cater to the more traditional bride,(which is 100% ok, it would just mean it’s not a fit for me specifically. No biggie) but to just ignore my very heartfelt email? Yeah… REAL«unique…»

My first experience trying on bridal gowns was at Uniquely Couture Bridal with my mom, and it was a great experience. Rachel was my consultant and she was awesome! She was really helpful and nice, she pulled gowns that were perfect for my body type, and I found three that were gorgeous. I did not want to make a decision right away since it was the first time I had ever tried a wedding dress on, and she did not pressure us to make the deal that day. The location is beautiful and the selection was great too!

I had the most wonderful experience today at Uniquely Couture Bridal! From the moment my husband and I walked into the salon, we were treated like we were the only people in the store. Karen was warm, gracious, and HONEST! She helped me choose dresses that would flatter my body, but also allowed me to choose dresses that I liked. She was patient with me and made my husband feel comfortable. Nicole assisted as well, and she was wonderful. I narrowed my choice down to 2 dresses and Karen didn’t pressure me at all. She and Nicole gave me honest feedback. I will be back to purchase my dress next week. Thank you Karen and Nicole! Julie J., Merrimac, MA

I LOVE this bridal salon! It is a gorgeous space perfect for relaxing with friends and family and enjoying the bridal gown, bridesmaid or tux purchasing experience! From the moment I walked in my bridesmaids and I were treated like old friends and our consultant was super nice and friendly. We had the place to ourselves and all were thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. My bridesmaids placed orders for their gowns and we cannot wait to come back see them try them on. Uniquely Couture stands head and shoulders above chains like David’s Bridal! They’re inventory is exquisite with resonable prices. Our consultant had great ideas about what the groomsmen could wear and after picking out a great suit/tie combo we will definitely be back with the men! Makes me wish I had known about this place for my wedding gown purchase!

This place was truly a wonderful experience. We walked in and were greeted by two very friendly women at the front desk. Our consultant, Rachel, showed us the selection of dresses and was helpful and honest through the whole appointment. I went with my friend who is getting married, and her maid of honor. We were looking for bridesmaids dresses. They had a great selection of high quality dresses with reasonable prices, not to mention, this place is GORGEOUS. It has an enormous white couch facing both directions, each side facing two huge 3 sided mirrors, light tiffany blue walls, and lighting that makes you look and feel beautiful. We found a dress we loved, but had a few more appointments that day. We went to two other places that paled in comparison, and called Uniquely Couture to see if we could come back that day with the Mother of the Bride to show her the dress. They welcomed us back, and we not only bought our bridesmaid dresses, but found a gorgeous dress for the mother of the bride. They made time for us and were unbelievably friendly and helpful. This is the first place I would go to shop for bridesmaid dresses, bridal, or rent tuxes. It made for a wonderful day, and a great experience!

I heard about«Uniquely Couture» at a bridal expo i had gone to in Manchester, and with my wedding less than a year away i thought I’d better book an appointment to get in. The over all appointment went okay. My budget was $ 1,500 and i wouldn’t say there was a huge selection in that range, its more geared toward the $ 2,000+ budget. I however did find i dress i fell in love with that was exactly $ 1,500. My consultant(i believe her name was Helen) was the OWNER and was extremely rude and impatient with me. After finding my dress she told me to meet her upfront in the least amount of clothes i was comfortable in. So i put on my Cami and leggings and met her in the lobby of the shop, where she measured me in front of everyone. After measuring me she pulls out the size chart where she tells me that i am unfortunately in-between two sizes and suggests i go with the bigger of the two sizes. I tell her that i have been seeing a nutritionist and have currently lost 20 pounds in the passed 2 months and am still currently losing, i would prefer to go with the smaller size. She proceeds to ask me «well how serious are you actually about this diet??» and lectures me about my weight and sizing. And continued to be rude and make me feel ignorant when i asked about their preferred payment plan method, when i told her it would be paid in full by April, she snapped back with a cackle and a «um you cant possibly get your dress by September if you pay for it that late…» um well isn’t it your job to tell me when it should be paid by? How am i supposed to know how long it takes for a dress to come in? All in all i would highly recommend you to get your dress else where, the owner is rude and could care less about your business. Once i get mine in, i will be taking my dress elsewhere for fittings and alterations because i wont be giving one more dime to that lady.
