Martinizing Dry Cleaners

We really like their service. The shirts come back on a hanger, sheets and pillowcases likewise. And there’s no seeping chemical smell from the clothes to give me a headache! The hours are good, the people friendly. Oh – and it’s just a few doors down from Baguette et Chocolat, to give me a reward for doing the errands. What could be better?

A new dry cleaner is in town (well actually they’ve been open a year now). I finally decided to give them a try because they are very conveniently located to where I live, I had a $ 15 «new customer» coupon, and they advertise themselves as a Green Dry Cleaner (non-​toxic, non-​polluting). But after using the service I’ve discovered even more benefits! They do their dry cleaning onsite (a big plus for me) and have a 24-​Hour Drop box with next day service. I signed up for the VIP service, which cost $ 15 for a «lifetime membership,» but then I received $ 15 in new customer discounts which zeros out that cost (plus I got to keep my $ 15 new customer coupon for future use). Prices were reasonable, as compared to most other dry cleaning services in town (except for the super cheap Ricks, which I use for some items but the quality is always questionable). My order was all sweaters and the cost for each was $ 5.69 with the VIP discount. Customer service was excellent.
But the real test was how well did they do with my order of six sweaters? I requested them folded and they came neatly folded and draped over padded hangers. They looked great. And with my order came two VIP bags with personalized ID tags for future drop-​off use. They are A+ in my book!
