We love Revival! Great quality items that are super different and reasonably priced. The owners are so fun and friendly. They serve complementary drinks(beer and margaritas) which makes shopping so fun! It’s a great atmosphere and it’s close to our house. We love supporting local businesses. Thumbs up, Revival!

I really like the things they offered up in this place; however, I didn’t purchase one thing as the prices were pretty dang high. But they did have some really cool stuff — lots of old doors, tables, etc. They have tons of succulents and I really wanted some, but again that price makes it tough. If I had more cash to blow, I’d check this place out often… but alas — it’ll be a pipe dream for me.

Interesting fun shop full of great wooden doors, tables, moldings, made to order rugs, etc. Wander on back into all of buildings!

I had all 3 of my kids with me, and we just wanted to go quickly check it out. Amazing vintage playground equipment, slides, climbing structures, swings… there was even a pig and chickens. I didn’t have the time/ability to shop but I was just really really impressed with how chill they were about having my kids check out their scene. Of course we were as respectful as possible but they could have been annoyed that we came in for only 10 min just to look/play and not buy but they were really nice. I wouldn’t want to encourage anyone to just use them as a playground but they get mad props from me for having such a welcoming atmosphere. There is TONS of eye candy and amazing things to buy. Go buy an amazing vintage door next time you’re on your way out to Hamilton Pool!

To be absolutely fair, I have to update my previous review with the following information. After I posted my first review of our furniture purchase I received a call from the regional manager, Jennifer. She said she had tried to reach me but the number that was given to her was not correct. After she found the correct contact info she was very apologetic and listened to all that transpired. She went above and beyond to make it right. The table was picked up at a time convenient for us, refinished, and returned in the same manner. She was beyond apologetic and very easy to deal with. Refreshing and appreciated. We are happy with the end result and are grateful for her excellent customer service.

Great store for inspiration. Love their furniture and unique décor. A little pricey but I am a wannabe dyi and with time you could create similar pieces for a lot less. If you have the money though, have them decorate your home. Great atmosphere.

PROS: Hamlet Retro playground equipment(albeit insanely expensive – probably so it sticks around and acts as a draw). Things are incredibly over-priced(i.e. way above market value). Check out Habitat Restore for the same windows/doors/leather/whatever for pennies on the dollar. Or check out eBay for antique sideboards in better condition, and still pay less after shipping. Kind of a waste of time and gas for people who want to shop. If you want to check out the cool pig/playground equipment/bar then this might be the destination for you. If you want to pay market value for furniture and other wares without dry rot, go elsewhere. Oh, and the music was absolutely blaring the entire time – could hardly stand it. It seems like they want to be an entertainment venue, not a store between the music, bar, etc.

Loved this store. If I lived near here in Texas I can promise you I would frequent this place often for eclectic home décor and gifts for friends. My friend and I showed up about 15 minutes before closing — of course because that is the story of my life — but we weren’t rushed out and were allowed to stay for about another 10 – 15 minutes to browse. The place is huge because once you go inside you see that not only are there items in the small main building but you can walk outside to see tons of huge pieces of furniture in covered awning areas and also outdoor stuff and antiques in a larger area outside that has succulents for sale, a bar and area with a fire pit, a salvaged wood area for artists, and a smaller designer cottage that had wallpaper, rugs, lights, and custom furniture so you can have some custom things done in there. I took a ton of photos that you can see because words wouldn’t do justice to the finds here. All old, all salvaged, all beautiful.

I love this store. They have such beautiful things and not to mention the place is just inspirational. People take their family photos here for heaven’s sake. They owners are just plain awesome. Check out their website and see what all they have to offer. They don’t just sell things for your home and garden, but they also have a whole design service that can help you get your home looking awesome. Go there today, and take your kids to see their pet pig Hamlet and to eat a snowcone.

I stopped in Revival at the suggestion of a friend. Went inside and was greeted by a person who said, «We close in 10 minutes.» Not a hi or how are you. It has been years since I was in so thought I would try again thinking maybe things had changed and I did see some cool things I wanted to check out outside. Walked in and a woman was busy with things, looked at me but said NOTHING. I walked out back and then back in the house area and she still said NOTHING. What a horrible environment. I will not go back a third time.

Revival is doing great things for the Lake Travis area. They have new finds all the time so it pays to stop in from time to time and check it out. We had a rule that we only buy things that speak loudly to us when we see them and more than a few times we’ve replaced furniture we weren’t really in the market to replace just because what was at Revival fit us and our house a lot more. Not only is it a great store with great owners but they do community events like Market Days where vendors gather with TONS of finds. Our out of town friends love going there too.

«Your mouth has been open the ENTIRE time.» That’s what my wife said to me as we walked out of Revival. And honestly, I’m still a bit bamboozled. How can I adequately describe the scope, the ridiculousness, the pure distilled Austin-ness of this place? Let’s list some of the things that are currently missing from your life; things you didn’t realize you needed, that can currently be found at Revival: –A desk made out of the skin of an old airplane? yup –An 18ft tall door from an 18th century castle? check –Several 1950’s pickups, in shockingly good condition? mmmmmhrmmm –A pig named Hamlet, complete with his own palace fashioned out of a discarded travel trailer? But of course!(yes, it’s an actual pig and no, he isn’t for sale. I asked) –Vintage pinball machines? oh yeah –Vintage soda machines? why not –A painting class, complete with adult beverages? a huh –A whole lot of children’s playground equipment… the good kind with lots of pointy metal edges? They have that too! At this point you might get the idea that these folks are pickers, and this is their Taj Mahal. And you’d be right. If you’re in need of a curio, a relic, or an oddity, this is your place. It promises to be even more amazing in the near future, as they are rebuilding an old church, brick by brick, that they saved from demolition. Pure hill country awesomeness!
