Always friendly and good prices every time I’ve stopped in. Don’t live close but if I did I would be in there way more often. Good selection too.

I don’t know what«Jennifer S.» is talking about. I’ve been here several times in the past, and Al and his staff have always been friendly and helpful. He has recommended several solid regional beers to me from his vast selection, and I’ve liked everything he’s suggested. This place has a wide variety of liquors and wines as well.

Zero stars, if possible. Boycott this place! Bel Air Liquors by the APGFCU is so much better on all levels! 1) The traffic design makes it difficult to enter/exit this location. 2) The clerks have limited knowledge on how their items taste. 3) The store is lacking feng shui; the items on the floor make it look cluttered. Judging on the awkward foot paths and dust on the bottles, I will say with confidence that this place needs a cleaning. 4) Items here are priced higher than competitors. 5) The clerks there … I don’t know which words I want to use to describe them, but friendly and intelligent aren’t the correct ones. The clerk, Al, refused to sell me anything because I had an out of state ID. After checking my ID, he became angry, told me my ID was a fake, and started reshelving my would-be purchases.(It wasn’t my first time shopping there nor my first time being checked out by Al.) After I convinced Al to validate the authenticity of my ID by looking at it so that you can see the holograms(I have a new California ID that is, in the words of the CA department of motor vehicles,“equipped with the latest in document security technology and have several features to protect them against fraud, tampering and counterfeiting. Some of the new features include a vertical layout for persons under 21; the cardholder’s date of birth and signatures that can be felt by touch; images that can be seen only with the use of ultraviolet lights; a 2D bar code on the back of the card that replicates and verifies only the information on the front of the card(similar to the current magnetic stripe); and a laser perforation outline of the California Brown Bear, which can be seen from the front of the card when a flashlight is pressed against the back of the card.”) Pointing out these security features did not convince Al that my ID was not fake. Reluctantly, he looked my ID up in the ID book. Yes, my ID matched what was in the book — verbatim. Still, no apologies. Stubbornly, I was refused a sale. Instead, he asked me several personal questions(that aren’t the business of any cashier) to include why was I in Maryland and what am I doing here.
