Carluci’s Pizza

Sorry Carluci’s…Chuck B. nailed it about the weightless bag of grinders. It’s too bad, because the owner is so nice! But across the board it’s just not quite enough value for the money compared to the other places in town.

I knew i was in trouble when i picked up the bag and it felt empty.
The steak and cheese i posted a pic of cost $ 8.83. It’s very, very small. Very small. It makes my little apple tv remote look big. (Apple tv remote 4 ¾ inches long) … I think this is literally the smallest sub i’ve ever received in my life, small or large.
It’s over salted and dry. I don’t think theres any seasoning in it other than just salt. Salty peppers and onions with salty steak slices. The cheese wasnt melted on the steak at all. I think they toasted the cheese with the roll. (What do they do if i didn’t want it toasted??? i don’t know…)
I finished it and i’m still hungry wondering what the heck i’m going to do for dinner… again…
In fairness the sandwich did come with a tiny bag of Wachusett potato chips.
Sorry. Two stars.
(pro tip: La trattoria has better/​larger subs for a couple dollars less. Pizza Shop on the common has giant subs for a few bucks more. It would take 6+ of these tiny subs to equal a Pizza shop sub.)
