Conklin’s Maine Mercantile

I went into the store just to look, not intending to buy anything. But, I left the store with a set of mixing bowls, a kitchen accessory, and a necklace for my for my daughter-​in-​law. What helped me buy?
* All products were MADE IN THE USA. Really.
* The store was easy to shop. Items were placed where you could handle them; prices were clearly marked; and the selection was sufficient, without being overwhelming.
* The prices were very reasonable. I googled the items before I bought, and Conklin’s was equal to the best price on-​line, and better than many retailers.
* The owners were on-​site; knew their products; and gave great, personal customer service.
I’ll drive by the stores and shops in Rockland and Camden to experience Conklin’s again.
