Outstanding! Best place in Belfast for a nice meal. Friendly atmosphere and excellent service. And the food is amazing.

This place was so wonderful! It was a quick and random find. Got there and it was adorable. I ordered the Italian Pizzette and when it was served I got freshly shaved parmesan on top! It was the best. I also ordered the Lobster Ale and didn’t really like it but they swapped it out no problem!

We went here for an anniversary dinner, and the meal was just OK. Not the fine dining experience we were hoping for, but not horrible. PROS: Good chowder. My husband enjoyed his sausage marsala. The fresh pasta that was served with my meal was really good. I had a great glass of wine(sauv. blanc) CONS: Our service wasn’t great. She never filled our water glasses or checked on us during the meal, and she left the salad and soup dishes from the appetizer round on the table until after dessert was served. The side salad I received was minuscule. The primavera was pretty underwhelming. The sauce was reduced balsamic alone, no olive oil or garlic, very flat.

Another very good dinner tonight. We’ve been here many times and nearly always leave for under $ 100 for two with apps, dinner and one drink each. Solid four plus stars. Staff is friendly and food is delicious!

Delvino’s in downtown Belfast is amazing! We had a reservation for 2 but added a third person when we walked in and they gladly accommodated us. When you first walk in you will see that it has that authentic Italian look and warm atmosphere. The waitress and hostess were both amazing. Onto the really good stuff… the food! We had two appetizers shared amongst the three of us: Calamari and the mushroom cap. Both were excellent but came in fairly small portions. The mushroom cap was especially delicious and I would advise getting this as your appetizer. For entrees two of us got the Mushroom Sacchetti, and it was to die for. Mushrooms and five different cheeses stuffed into pasta with the best cream sauce I have ever tasted. I dipped my extra bruschetta in the sauce until my plate was completely clean. Our third person ordered the organic kale and chicken ravioli, which was also amazing. Chicken and kale stuffed into ravioli, covered in just the right amount of marinara and topped with cheese. This place is amazing and I would recommend this to anyone in the area. I honestly can’t wait to eat here again.

Absolutely the best Italian food I’ve had in a long time!!! Bruschetta was fresh and delicious, and the angel hair in the garlic cream sauce is to die for! The meatballs are freshly homemade and taste like a little bit of heaven! The service here is also very attentive and courteous. I will absolutely be returning here any time I am in the area!

Excellent! Travel in area every October and Delvinos is one of our favorite stops. Excellent value for the dollar. Hit it on a Tue. night this year and was able to partake in one of their dining for two specials that went from appetizer to desert. Wife had home made ravioli and I had home made pasta with extra meatballs. Had some leftovers that we took with us and the next day we were both looking forward to them as lunch.

I would never return here. The staff are condescending, unfriendly and not very knowledgable. I ordered a second drink that never arrived. I have allergies and was informed their sauces are all pre made so there wasn’t really anything I could order. We were the only table and the bartender was our waitress as well, my second drink didn’t arrive because she was too busy talking to her two friends seated at the bar. Two thumbs down!

Absolute Heaven!!! I had the Pesto Salmon with little pillow triangles of spinach ravioli in a butter sauté. I can’t remember when I had such a great meal, Italy probably! My husband had the veal parmasean. The red sauce was light creamy, melt in your mouth goodness! We took dessert to go because we were so full. Again I was transported… Chocolate ganache over walnut fudge cheesecake! If this was my last meal ever, I would have died a very happy woman! I can’t wait to come back on our next trip.

I found this restaurant in Unilocal — the«search map area» as I was driving down the coast of Maine. The service was great. I asked the waitress for her thoughts as to a pasta dish and she recommended the Sacchetti and I am glad I listened. Amazing. I started with the Lobster Corn chowder special. Fantastic. I took the Tiramasu to go. Amazing. A fantastic old building, full of character. Amazing food, quality, flavor, presentation. The server was friendly, knew the menu well and was very professional. I highly recommend stopping when you’re near Belfast!

Great food, horrible service. Prepare to wait forever, but food is worth it but don’t order the ravioli for lunch — way too few(4).

Outstanding food, highly recommend the Blueberry sangria. Lobster entrée is very small, half pound at most, and very high priced. Recommend ordering something else here and going to Youngs for lobster in Belfast. Highly recommend a visit here, fantastic food, great service, family owned restaurant. They prefer cash over credit, and charge $ 1 to use a card.

We were in town for a long weekend and decided to make a reservation at Delvino’s for Sunday evening as one of our last meals«out». I made the reservation for 5:30pm, and it was highly encouraged on the phone, which made me think that they were very busy. We got there a bit early, and the place was 90% empty. The hostess sat us at the last booth next to the bathroom and kitchen. I will also note that during our meal, the restaurant filled up about 20%, but there were certainly better seats available away from the noise and flushing… I ordered eggplant parm, and my Mum had the homemade Mushroom sacchietti(sp?). My meal was cold, and subpar. The eggplant was a half inch thick slice with the skin left on, tough in the middle, and covered in half-melted cheese. The pasta and sauce were OKAY. My Mum’s meal was delicious, so they get stars for that. The quality of the dishes were polar opposite. Service at the table was fine, a bit aloof, did not make a comment on the small amount of my plate that I ate. I would not return here, and I would not recommend anyone visiting Belfast waste their money or time here.

Nice place with friendly staff and a limited, but tasty menu. Much like a lot of the«Italian» places in Maine, it tends to be part Italian and mostly Maine fish dishes — which would be fine for most, but I’m not a big seafood person so it was a bit limiting. As another reviewer noted, it was a little bit loud, but not too bad — not enough to stop us from going again.

This is great local pub bar and grill right in the heart of downtown Belfast, Maine. I was there with my family and we had a variety of different foods including Mushroom Caps, a delicious Ribeye and Fettuccini with chicken garlic cream sauce which by all accounts was absolutely fabulous. The cocktails were very tasty and well made… Great food and definitely plan on going again.

Great local pub bar and grill. Loved it. $ 2 drafts and we had the Black and Blue loaded home made chips for an appetizer. Ate the prime rib sandwich and great waffle sweet potatoes fries. Others ate burgers, clams, and the Ruben sandwich. Great food!!! Will go back again on the way back through. Great place

It’s loud. Everyone has to yell to be heard. Which makes it louder. The bread they immediately brought was hot and a little gooey. There is an oil and vinegar salad dressing for dipping it. Now I know why: the oil alone could have been first cold– pressed newspaper for all the olive taste it had. The beer list: lousy; criminal, when you consider there is a good brewery down the street, and a dozen excellent ones in Maine. Wine list: a little better, but I didn’t scrutinize it. We had pasta with garlic cream sauce(bland, salty) and pesto and roasted red pepper«pizzetta»(really salty, smothered in cheese but not in a good way). The ambience, other than the noise, is nice. Service was speedy and excellent. Perhaps just our menu choices but food just doesn’t have it. If it was the 80’s the food would have been excellent. Maybe that’s why nearly all the patrons were over 50. Following what seems to be a trend, the napkins are of some synthetic material with all the absorbency of aluminum foil.

Wow… Every single thing we had was excellent. Love this place. We had the garlic bulb, blueberry sangria, bacon wrapped shrimp, caprese salad, olives, and… Lasagna, ravioli, pasta primavera, and mushroom sachet ti(I thinl). Every thing really was great and this place accommodates gluten free people as well. Highly recommended. Make a reservation for dinner.

We went last night for dinner and it was a fabulous experience. We had great service from Hannah. The wine list was very good and the food was good. We had a bunch of apps instead of a main dish. We really enjoyed the mussels, both steamed and smoked. The baked Brie was a little sweet for my taste, but still pretty good. The marinated mushrooms and the roasted garlic were amazing. The tiramisu was also off the chart. The best was when we got the check it was very reasonable!

This was our third visit to Delvino’s. The food is fabulous, wait staff is wonderful. When our kids visit from the West Coast, they will drive a couple hours to have the mushroom sacchetti! If we are anywhere near Belfast for dinner, this is our go-to place. The décor with dark paint and plain brick on the walls is great. It is on our short list of places we always want to enjoy.
