Friday Night Specials are awesome . Perch or Diver Scallops, cooked perfect, seasoned perfect and excellent service. The Beer & Cheddar soup is incredible 10 – 16 A delicious night at Miguel’s. I started with a classic Espresso Martini, expertly made by Kurt, the most pleasant gent on the planet. I had the Butternut Squash soup as a starter. It was absolutely delicious and the right consistency with a touch of sweetness perfect for the season. I had one of the dinner specials, Chicken Piccata with garlic, lemon, capers and very tender chicken. I had the fresh vegetables which were cooked to perfection. The dish can be ordered with pasta or potatoes. Everything was fresh and delicious with the best service in the area!!!

Just came back from dinner. This was our second trip to Miguel’s. First trip was a year ago. My fiancéé had scallops with a puff pastry our first time, which was not in the menu tonight. It was made special for her tonight. Last visit, I had an amazing duck dish. Tonight, I had the absolute best steak of my life. 10oz filet au poivre with peppercorn sauce. Cooked to perfection(medium rare)…and the price was just as good. You would pay easily $ 80-$ 100 anywhere else. We had tirmisu each visit and it was excellent both times. The reviews about it being loud are true, however, it is a small space. Otherwise, this place is top notch.

OMG! I couldn’t get out of this place quick enough! If you want an overpriced meal and don’t want to talk to your dinner companion, this place is for you. The noise level was probably the worst part of the experience! The food is not particularly flavorful for an ethnic restaurant! The prices are high for Nazareth and for bar dining. miguel needs to decide if he is operating a bar or fine dining. We paid for fine dining in a bar.

One of my favorite restaurants in the Lehigh Valley. Fresh ingredients and intimate, old fashioned atmosphere. The venue is an old hotel, which includes a gorgeous wooden bar area. Went on a Friday night and had wonderfully strong sangria, calamari, fresh gazpacho, paella, and incredible burnt orange ice cream. The owner is from Spain and is very warm and welcoming. Highly recommend!

My family and I went to Miguel’s for the 1st time tonight and I am not sure where to begin. Let’s start by waiting 5 minutes to be seated and come to find out that we «should’ve» seated ourselves. Waitress comes over and ask if we want bread, no drink order. Waited 10 minutes for her to finally take our drink order. Waited another 10 minutes for the drinks and then we order our food. 10 minutes later.salads.Oh let’s see…1 hour waited for our food. My son and I ordered the Paella for 2. Rice was undercooked. My wife order Shrimp Paella and the whole dish was soaked in 5lbs of butter(so gross seeing the butter drip off), my other son ordered linguine with clams and garlic/oil…they bring out marinara. Had to wait for the right dish. I asked to speak to the manager and she came and offered us soda(laugh) and offered my wife a beer(she was drinking one). We declined. To end this nightmarish story, I finally got the check at full price and never received a discount for the poor service and the terrible food(which I complained about). I mentioned to the waitress that I was disappointed in the manager not giving us some sort of discount… not even a dessert! At that point, I wanted to get the hell out of dodge! Waitress comes back after 15 minutes and gives me a new check with 1 beer taken off… THAT’S ALL!!! I paid my check and left. I will never ever go back to this place and trust me, you will enjoy pizza at a local pizza joint over this place and you will get better service. By the way, all of our stomachs are in knots after eating their food. TUMSAWAY!!!

Decent pizza. I wouldn’t eat there. Smells like a frat house.

Been here a number of times and this place never fails to impress us. They’ve got a fantastic selection of everything. Great service, awesome bread, food is done right. They have a number of Mediterranean/Spanish dishes which are delicious. The atmosphere is cozy, the place is CLEAN! The big bar opposite the dining room is gorgeous, very old. They’ve got some great live music now, too. This is an other one of those family-owned places in an awesome old Inn. Off the beaten path. Go there, you won’t be disappointed!

I’m from Buffalo, NY. It’s a rare occasion when I find wings anywhere else that impress me, by rare I mean never. This place knows what it’s doing!!! The wings are fantastic! We had the spicy honey BBQ sauce. We also had the smoked trout appetizer which was very flavorful. I highly recommend both. This was an excellent stop after a day of hiking

Walking into this unassuming place, I didn’t know what to expect. Well, sometimes a little surprise can be a fine thing. We came on a Saturday evening. The atmosphere is a bit outdated(we ate by the bar), but it was passable. I ordered the cream of broccoli soup and the lobster ravioli and my friend ordered the shrimp over rice. The soup was very good. Delicious. The lobster ravioli was okay. The layer of lobster meat inside was lacking. The shrimp over rice though was very good. It was bursting with flavor and the seafood tasted fresh as well. After about an hour or so, a pianist came by to sing live music. Wow, now this place is feeling very warm and cozy. While was food was alright, the live music made the experience memorable. Awesome. Wished more restaurants would put a spin on the customer experience like Miguel’s.

We went here using a Living Social deal and were so happy with out experience. The food was just absolutely delicious and the service was amazing! Our server, Kurt, was funny and personable. He, and the great food, are sure to have made Miguel’s a new favorite.

While in Bethlehem on business, I had some down time and decided to head out to Jacobsburg State Park to take in all of its 1,168 acre goodness and live my life a little bit more«deliberately» as fate would have it. I came away with two things from this experience: 1) always bring a flashlight if you’re attempting to cover 1,168 acres in one day, and 2) Bring some damn food! Shit can get real, and not in some Walden Pond existential kind of way, no, more like the I’m starving and if I see another human being, this might turn into an Alive type of situation. But I digress… (Enter stage, left) Miguel’s Restaurant and Lounge, you saved the day! Famished from my arduous afternoon of Thoreau-ing myself to the wilds, I wondered if small plates would do the trick. No matter, I’ll just get many of them, maybe 20, and have a drink, or ten at the bar. Now I’m blushing… This bar is beautiful! The whole building, really, transports you back to well, a simpler time, an era when one would«…rather be happy than dignified» — I later learned that the site used to serve as a Victorian Hotel, quite fitting. Of all the bar bites and snacks, which are reasonably priced at a mere $ 5 and apps at around $ 8-$ 10, the Gambas al Ajillio stole the show. Who doesn’t love shrimp sauteed in a peppery garlic, tomato, and brandy broth? Simple and refreshing. The goat cheese and escargot were also nice compliments and were prepared with careful attention to subtle detail. For my entrée I was curiously drawn to the Pork Osso Bocu as in most occasions this calls for veal shanks, but nonetheless, I am not one to shy away from innovation. I am glad that I made that call because Miguel’s take on this classic Italian dish was delicioso! By the end of my meal I had slain my beastly hunger and wished for a minute that the hotel was still operational. I needed a stiff drink and while that quench would go unsatisfied, it was probably for the best as my drive would continue for a bit back to the city and back to a reality I had long forgotten during this adventure. It’s a poor sort of memory that only works backwards… I didn’t know where I was going, but somehow knew that any road would get me there. In the morning I was nostalgic about my meal the night before. I can’t go back to yesterday — because I was a different person then… a person without Penn’s Woods, a person without Miguel’s.

Wife and I went for tapas last night. The service was just ok. Itwas weird that they had no wine or beer list and the waitress didn’t seem to want to tell us what the had, however the house red was very good. I find it difficult to write overall reviews for tapas so I will go dish by dish.

This restaurant is fantastic. The food is delicious, the service is fantastic. They have a great tapas menu. The filet mignon was to die for. There is a full bar. They also have the best bartender ever. You will feel like a regular on your first visit. Try it once and you will keep going back for more.
