I’ve been a patient of Dr. Dickens since 1978 when he first saw me on a weekend, as an emergency patient. I had always been petrified of dentist’s and Dr. Dickens understood why, validated my fear and treated me so gently that I learned to trust him. He told me then that if I followed his advice about mouth health and teeth, I would keep my natural teeth until my death. Here we are, 37 years later and he has kept his promise; I have all of my natural teeth!(No, I am not planning to die for a long time yet ;)) Due to some complicated medical issues, I’ve had to have root canal work, which had to be done under a general anesthesia, and Dr. Dickens arranged all that too! I had the best«Tooth Fairy» and«Sandman» caring for me! His office staff has remained the same all these years — which speaks of their commitment and cohesiveness as a team. I have always been treated with love, respect and understanding by everyone on the staff and follow-up phone calls! What most warms my heart about Dr. Dickens and his staff is that when I go in for a cleaning or anything else, It’s like connecting with family and friends! They will ask about my dog and cats, about my travels and many other things that have come up in conversations before. They truly know you; you are not just a patient with a number… you are cared for as family! I cannot praise Dr. Mark Dickens, DDS and his staff enough but to say that I love and respect them and hope you will too! Leena
