Let me start by saying this is the cutest little place and the staff was very friendly, but they seemed a little confused because I had to repeat my order about five times and I only ordered 2 snow cones. Did I mention there were 3 people behind the counter involved in this process? The location is in our neighborhood so I wanted to show my support when it opened. I thought it was a little strange that a snow cone spot was opening up in December, but we live in Houston so… I’m going to be honest the store/décor gets 4 stars but the snow cone gets 2 stars. I thought crunchy ice snow cones would be nostalgic and bring back memories but it didn’t. It just left me disappointed and wanting a SNO-BALL!!! There is other competition out there with WAY better products. The competition(Snowblock, Mam’s– my favorite, Nu Ice) doesn’t have the fancy décor but what it does have is a line outside the door and a nice following of customers. Snow cones with crunchy ice seem to be a thing of the past. Sno-balls are soft, light, and fluffy. Every particle of a sno-ball is coated with flavor. I will continue my drive to Mam”s.
