Winters-Bellbrook Community Library

I only visited this branch once and it was once to many. Every week I take the 5 year old I watch to a different library branch. I allow him to explore the children’s section while I borrows the adult section. I was sitting across from the door so I could make sure that no one walked out the door with «my kid». Two minuets of being there, the kid comes up to me and tells me he is not allowed to play on the computers that have a sign the say «5yrs and up can play without supervision». I couldn’t see the problem since he was FIVE… The lady in the children’s section then gave me a lecture on how they aren’t they to watch the kids… DUH… I got the impression that she wouldn’t even look up if a kid was screaming that they don’t know someone who is dragging them out the door. The staff was rude in general, and the kid never wanted to go back. Can you blame him?
A few months later I had placed on hold DVDs that this library had in-​stock and they would not pull them and send them to my library branch. I had to ask one of the librarians at my branch what was the problem and they had to call them to pull the DVDs and send the DVDs to them.
I hope whoever is in charge of the Greene County Libraries reads the reviews and corrects these problems.
