I tried the new shrimp nibblers at this locations. Let me tell you, fried to perfection baby. Those shrimp were nice and hot, cooked perfectly not rubbery. I wanted to turn around for more. Two thumbs up WC. KEEPITUP.

I know a lot of foodies don’t eat fast food. However, there are times where I fall for the marketing ploys and try the new food items they offer. The grilled italiano chicken was not bad, sorry I am a true foodie. This chicken slider was okay as I have not yet tasted anyone make one other than these guys. Nice flavor… you get pure chicken flavor from the grilled Italiano and with just a touch of n sauce nit bad at all when you are in a hurry. The textures were good nice and soft with a warm taste in my mouth. To look at it is not that inspiring but it’s fast food so n you will not get a major sex appeal from their food. The fried chicken Italiano not as good as the good IMHO. That grease with the Italiano thing just looses it on this chicken slider. If you been out drinking this might be perfect, I remember those nights. Texture somewhat soggy, and pasty, flavor. the grease just don’t fit n this Italiano chicken slider. Makes it feel very processed. The slider pizza burger, not the best taste. I enjoy the concept of pepperoni on top with a mild piazza sauce, but it was not working together for me. Perhaps a real gourmet slider yes, but the white castle burger is just to thin. Late night bar night… to for it. Otherwise, not a menu of food that I will want to eat weekly… unless drunk!

Psh, as a native midwesterner who now lives in SoCal I am going to have to correct a few things about Harper F.‘s review. First of all: you cannot compare WC and In N Out, they are each good in their own right. And it’s funny that only one line of your WALLOFTEXT«review» actually qualified as a review. A review is not based on comparisons, it’s based on the establishment you are reviewing. Many Californians have a similar attitude, as in condescension towards the midwest, and your post reeked of it. Please take your Cali arrogance back to Cali. — Anyway, as for my review… I took my Southern California-native hubby here. It was my first time coming here as well. Both of us have only ever had the frozen cheeseburgers from the grocery store so we were eager to try the real thing. We got a variety of stuff; hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chicken burgers and jalapeño cheeseburgers. Omg, It was all TODIEFOR. Their chicken burgers are ahhh-mazing! I’m not a big french fry fan so I’m not a good judge of that, but my husband really enjoyed them. The employees are so nice. Even the maintenance man/janitor was so awesome. He was all jokes and smiles. We had a really great time, wish they’d open these in Illinois too!

Now this a story all about a Californian who crosses paths with Mid-West fast food. If you are a west coast native and at some point in your life, watched«Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle,» I’m sure you empathize with me when I say advertising was well done in the film. For years, I had fancied my own rendition of their epic journey to White Castle. My particularly random tumble into Mizzourah involved a paper map of the US and something that served as a dart to pick my point of destination. Seeing as my fate landed in the mid-west, I made it a production to make it to White Castle. In the middle of nowhere going from St. Louis to Columbia, I stopped here. Brakes barely screeched to a halt, seatbelt practically still strapped on, I flung the doors open and had a standoff with the bite-sized burgers and chicken rings. I came with a purpose and the welcoming staff recognized that fire. Wondering where I was from, they inquired and immediately raved of the In-n-Out chain in Cali. It was then, where I had realized that White Castle was just a novelty to me. It is fun and satisfying knowing that I finally pursued a comical dream. WC doesn’t hold a candle to our In-n-Out, but I will for sure, have it any day if I could for nostalgic value.
