This is a true, old-fashioned drive-in restaurant, complete with car hops! You can park in the lot, or walk up to the window. The food is always so good: it’s you’re basic, drive-in comfort food. You can get a lot for little amounts of money. Everyone is very friendly and enthusiastic. Many of the employees are from the high school down the road. There is always something on special and our local paper includes many A&W coupons to use. It’s very busy all summer long with people on dates or entire families. It’s just a fun, traditional place to go!

As many people that was here on a beautiful Wednesday evening, I’m surprised i am first up. Now i know the A&W did start off as a drive-in restaurant, but i was surprised when i found out that there was one still standing and one not that far from me. So came to a full parking lot(took about 10 – 15 minutes to get a spot) and wanted some food. I had a loose burger(normally not a A&W item, but i do love them and A&W’s was OK, the chili here is a little sweet for my tasting), chili cheese fries(good, but the same complaint as far as the chili), onion rings(good), and the papa burger(best thing here.) I also had a root beer float(ice cream was more like ice milk), and there chipotle sauce(OK, taste more like a tangy papa sauce which in turns taste like big mac sauce). Overall if i had to compare this to say Sonic, i will say that there burgers and fries are better, everything else advantage sonic.
