Belleville Fish and Chicken

I wish I could give no stars. Last time I came here, a roach crawled across the counter and the manager tried to hide it by quickly picking it up and shoving it in his pocket, and no I’m not kidding. I honestly wish I were. I wish to the god of Zeus I wasn’t telling the truth. Unfortunately the place is disgusting. Their was an infestation of fruit flies that were trying to get into my mouth and nose. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

For some they added items which makes them look like a mini grocery store but if they had to do it they had to do it I guess

This place has really grown on me. The gyros have gotten better with time. They have a special of 2 gyros, Greek flavored fries, and a soda for 10bucks!
I have also tried the falafel. It is good. But not my favorite. But there are not a lot of falafel joints in the metro east. Theirs is a little too dry and too crunchy.
Again I come here for the gyros. I think they Are better than Lilly’s.

When your in the mood to be naughty and eat something fried… this is the — hole in the wall to go. Love the pizza puffs!

First off, the portions are huge. You do get a lot for what you pay. So you can never go wrong with that.
We were the only patrons to sit down and enjoy our food, mainly because we were running errands afterwards. Everyone else that came, must have called ahead their orders. Which would explain why they had gotten their food quicker then we did.
The boyfriend and I enjoyed a couple of fried dishes, he had the gizzards and I had the catfish. There were leftovers.
I think what they could use is a bit more interior decorating. It would definitely draw you and make you feel more comfortable. They have a decent amount of room to work with, so I know something can be done.
I do believe we will go back again, even if it is just to get take out.

The food we had there was off the chain! I had catfish and wings and my wife had tilapia and wings. The breading had a very unique flavor to it. There was a big delight in every bite. The french fries were excellent. They have a flavorful coating. They are not shy about distributing the condiments (ketchup, tartar sauce, and hot sauce). There were a lot of customers waiting for take-​out. They sure do keep the food moving! Will most definitely go there again.
Canned soda comes with each entrée’, but be aware that unless you get water, there are no diet soda choices. Still good though.

Look tor the BP station on the corner and this little place is tucked behind it in the strip mall. What can you say, everything is deep fried and good! The fish and fixins’ are prepared when order so expect a little wait time, but well worth it. We checked out the catfish steaks, chicken planks, chicken gizzards (yes there were more folks than just me), cheesecake and there wasn’t a bad bite among it. Had to watch out for bones here and there, but that’s to be expected with fish. Good place for friends or take out, cause that seemed to be a majority of their business.
