Not bad. Not much food options. Small portions. Cool atmosphere. Lots of different teas and coffees. I bought gunmetal green.

Love this place! I recommend the pastries, omelets, gyros, and of course the coffee. The atmosphere is very calm and Sharon & the rest of the gang are so sweet! Make sure to stop by!

Sharon(the owner) is absolutely wonderful! She is sweet and great company to have. Not only is this place wonderful to meet with friends, study, or have a drink, but Sharon makes delicious food. I have only been here twice but I LOVE it! Kudos to Sharon and her passion to help and give to others.

I have drove past here almost everyday for a year. I finally decided to stop by and see what they are all about. This is a quaint little place located in an unusual part of Belleville. The afternoon I stopped there was hardly anyone in the place. They are cheap and sell Kruda’s baked goods. The nice lady said that she did not want to run my card for a dollar, so I could just pay for it next time I come in.

Great for a non-chain coffee place. Ambience is quirky, and the owners are so nice. The sandwiches are always tasty, and you’ll never know what you’re getting with the soup until the day of.

I had an hour to kill and googled nearby coffee houses. This one looked like it had a local flair and intrigued me, so I punched it in. I drove by twice and couldn’t find it. There is no signage out front and it is in a building that doesn’t particularly look like a business. I went in and ordered a coffee and a bear claw. The coffee was brewing so I had to wait a bit. The owner told me the bear claw was on the house since I had to wait for my coffee. My wait couldn’t have been more than 5 minutes! I truly didn’t think anything of it and despite my protestations, the owner absolutely refused to let me pay for it. So on to the review… The coffee was perfect. The bear claw was a work of art! I bought some more to take back to my office or my co-workers would not believe me. They all agreed that the bear claws were the best that any of them had ever had. The owner was very friendly and clearly took pride in her shop. The atmosphere was cozy and definitely had an antique-y feel to it. And the price was right. I think the coffee was $ 0.75(???) and the bear claws were HUGE and only $ 1.75. Great experience and I will definitely return.

This is a café that is reminiscent of a 70s coffeehouse, relaxed, quiet and run by friendly, really nice people. The sandwiches are fresh and abundantly prepared. The cheese and fruit plate is delicious. The coffee is the best.

What a small town gem !!! They have good coffee and excellent espresso drinks! The food here is equally amazing and I’ve never had a better egg soufflé and Belgian waffle anywhere including Belgium! And this place also has potential to be a great study spot too! Their pricing is so cheap it’s borderline crazy and I hope they can eventually raise their prices to remain in business! Definitely recommend !

I decided that I was in the mood to sit outside on a nice spring day and enjoy a cup of tea while catching up on work. This was just the place. A french press of green tea at a very reasonable price. Locals in and out all day. Hospitality you can only find in small-town America. Strongly recommended.

Best opening hours of any coffee shop around. It’s the only one that is open late in this area… until 10 pm, and 11pm on Fri/Sat…AND they are open all day on Sunday, thank goodness, great for late-night studying. It’s peaceful in here, and it’s comfortable with all the couches and cushy chairs. I like that there are plugs to charge my computer and there is free Wi-Fi. Bonus that they have soy and almond milk and have a large variety of coffee drinks to choose from. There are some awesome and crazy herbal tisanes like Alfalfa and Chikory root. They have some interesting nibbles, and it’s really not very expensive. Them being locally owned, veggie options, late hours, free wifi and fair prices have them at five stars on my list. The homemade pies are delicious, and there is a cool, random organ plunked down in the middle of the café :)

I have been to Miscellanea House several times and have enjoyed it. I have bought coffee, tea, candy and have ate there both my husband and I were very pleased. The shop is very unique and interesting there is something there for all to like. Try it I think you’ll find it well worth the trip.

Oh, small town coffee houses, how you tug at my heartstrings. As much as I adore Starbucks, sometimes I just want to kick back on a Sunday morning in a place where no one knows me or my order… especially when they offer me a free piece of Bissinger’s chocolate with my order. Sold. I met up with a friend here several days ago and while waiting for her to arrive, I was offered a free sample of their homemade beignets. Whoa. Beignets this far north? How gourmet! They were utterly delightful. I ordered a doppio con panna and curled up on their couch with a copy of Sauce magazine and waited patiently for my order. As it was handed to me, the owner offered me my free piece of chocolate. Feeling a little frisky, I decided on their olive oil truffle and was not let down. Amazingly creamy and garnished with sea salt, it was the perfect pairing for my doppio. I loved the ambiance of this new café and am eager to return to try their savory food offerings.
