Pizza Village Cafe II

I ordered the escorole n beans soup, had no taste, just water. Ordered the mussels, Sandy n very fishy, threw everything out. I’ll never order from there, again

The pizza here is truly some of, if not, the BEST pizza I’ve ever had! Thin crust, amazing sauce, good flavor. Really delicious. They have a good variety of pizza too… from taco slices to Caesar salad slices! And I’m not separating the two, it’s literally Caesar salad on top of your pizza. Don’t knock it till you try it! Their pasta dishes and sandwiches are stellar too. They get 4 out of 5 stars because they are pretty pricey.

It was our first time here, we tried the regular pizza and it didnt had flavor at all, cant really taste the cheese … Thumbs down down down

Very nice place! Good service. And most important thing is very tasty menu!!! Open earlier than other pizza restaurants around and very convenient location.

I’m shocked at all these review, personally I love their pizza. I cannot express it enough, I haven’t tried anything else on their menu because personally I just come for the pizza. Their sauce and the way it taste, it’s so different and so unique compared to other places I’ve been too. My boyfriend agrees it Just has a certain taste you can’t find else where. Not other their pizza, but don’t get me started on their garlic knots, it’s cooked to perfection. Sometimes very rarely will they add too much garlic. But the way they make their knots it’s hard to find in other pizza places. Because either one it has too much dough, or not enough seasoning. But I will order something different from their menu next time I go, and give an update.

Went here off recommendation by a coworker. Frankly there are way too many delicious pizza places in the area for this to have been so sub par (la sicilia and Michaels just to name a few). I ordered a pie half plain and half white. Nothing to write home about. I also got Penne vodka wiyh chicken and the vodka sauce could have used a little more oomph. It did come with your standard side salad which was good but I mean just your typical side salad with some balsamic dressing. Interestingly it came with these garlicy breadsticks which were good but I only tasted it as I was already carb over loading. Garlic knots weren’t bad.
Around 50 minutes or longer for delivery around 5 o’clock on a Sunday which I felt was overkill. Pricing was average.
Bottom line, there are more flavorful places in the area so I don’t think I would order again but nothing «bad» per se besides the time for delivery.

The food is really good. The place has fast delivery and fresh food.
BUT customer service, specifically the person who picks up the phone, can be nasty and pushy. I understand, you’re really busy and you’re trying to get through all the calls. News Flash! You can be fast and nice on the phone. You can say, «Sorry, I’m in a rush trying to get all these calls, please know what you want before you call.»
The food is a solid 4 stars.
Customer Service can be improved, therefore minus 1 star.

This is my local goto for pizza. Staff is friendly and the food is always good. I live close so I pop in and pick up food to go. Reg pizza, Sicilian, margarita, all very good. Zeppole are very good.

I absolutely hate this place.
i live up the hill from this establishment, and rather than taking 20 – 30 minutes for delivery. they call me from NEWARK and it ends up taking 30 – 60 minutes. it’s ridiculous because this has happened THREE TIMES. the only reason that i continued ordering from this place after the first mess up was because i believe in giving people second chances. well, that and they have zeppoles.
on top of that, the staff is extremely rude on the phone.
if you are eating inside the restaurant, you do not have to deal with the things i have had to deal with. however, as far as delivery, there are many MANY other places that have better food and customer service.

So ever since I had that Italian sub I have been craving it like crazy and decided to order it again tonight — ugh, pure happiness. So friggen delicious.
I also decided to order a half white, half pepperoni pie which was also so yummy and HUGE!
I can’t even write anymore because I feel so fat and full right now I need to go lay down… I’m not even kidding.

Good 2 slices, good friendly service, and ample parking right next to the seasonal State Fair store on Main St, nothing to rave nor complain about on my brief visit.

Staff was nice. There was a wide selection and pizza was perfect with my Stromboli chicken roll. Steak and Cheese should have included toppings and Little skimpy. Should have included lettuce tomato etc. But otherwise food was great.

Stopped by while i was in the area… ordered a plain slice and an eggplant slice. Food was ok… plain slice was better in flavor… eggplant was a little bland.
Overall, there was some decent traffic, so food rotates… which is a good sign.

Favorite new place for pizza in Belleville. Sicilian slice is great and the staff has been very friendly every time.
