AMLI at Bellevue Park

My wife and I lived here for almost 2 yrs. and have noticed some changes in both management and cosmetics:
Beyond a good location the downside are a few:
–East Building fire alarm that goes on and off intermittently at all hours of the day (piercing ring in the middle of the night would be the worst)
–Garage parking needs wider lanes as you can’t help but get your car dinged by parking so tightly next to SUV’s and the like
–Elevators are very slow and when someone is moving it’s unbearable to wait the +5 minutes it takes to get one to your floor (I pity the fool who’s on the 9^th floor and needs to use the stairs); management has not found a way to notify residents or rectify the issue
–Tenants are a mix ethnically due to affordable housing rules (not a bad thing) but not everyone can speak understand basic pleasantries in English (i.e. if you say hi to someone don’t expect them to understand you)
–They got rid of the free coffee cups in the name of «going green» but methinks it was more of cost-​savings measure as coffee is served only if you bring your own cup.
–The biggest downside is the old apartment manager (Jeremiah Dover) left and no one has replaced him and it shows. He was a great caring manager who saw you as a person rather than a tenant. The other staff are professional but lack the detail and understanding that Jeremiah exuded when he was here.
In short, with all the new apartments popping up in Old Bellevue, you could be in a brand new place for a similar price without all the above issues to deal with.

Amli at Bellevue Park, has been a awesome place to call home for the past 3 years. Specifically, the staff (all of them) have been so friendly and always professional and helpful. The maintenance team is always quick to respond and does a professional clean job. The facility is also very well maintained. Location, can’t be beat. They have made our life over the past 3 years a very, very pleasurable experience. Thank you Amli Team!

This is a great place to live. It is very secure, clean, well maintained, great accomodations, amenities are better than other places I’ve researched in Bellevue, and everyone on the team is very helpful and friendly. The maintenance staff is also VERY on point about taking care of issues when they come up in a timely manner. I’d also like to recognize Cameron and Jeremiah for going above and beyond whenever I’ve asked for help with anything!

My time at Bellvue park only lasted for two years before moving back to California but I wish I could of stayed longer. The location makes it incredible because it’s so close to everything. The staff was AMAZING! Super friendly, caring, helpful, and kind. Shout out to Jeremiah for being sooooo nice and beyond helpful. He really helped me out during my time there. The leasing staff was very patient too! The maintenance was great! Now that I’m back leasing in California it takes forever to get someone to come out to my place to fix things. When I lived here they would come and fix it right away! I am blown away by the all around customer service. They reallyset the bar for how properties should be run.

Love being here! Great parking lot, location, fitness equipment, super dog friendly. Delivery is a breeze manage will take care of it for you, and if it is UPS, they would deliver it to your door!!!
The room is decent considering the price.
I would definitely live here again!

I lived here from Nov 2013 to Jul 2015 and moved out only because I got a new job in Bay area. I generally do not write reviews but this place needs a mention. I highly recommend renting here. Community is very clean, safe and friendly. Office staff are all good with no exceptions. Maintenance responds well. Situated next to Bellevue park, lake beach and shops, it cant get any better. My dog loved here as well and found excuses to visit the park and play with his other four legged friends. People pick after their pets so no issues there. Parking garage has enough parking in general, but there were few times when I came in late and found no parking (guests of residents parked in garage without permit). Management followed up on complaints and the issue was resolved. Never heard of any break-​ins. Gym and swimming pool are both worth mentioning as well. I used to take my dog out for walk around the block even at 2am and never felt unsafe.

LOVE it here I feel like I’m on vacation everyday of the week! Location couldn’t be more perfect for us since the area is so walkable, upscale restaurants, shops, Bellevue Square and markets. Downtown park is across the street with beautiful gardens, waterfalls and easy exercise paths.
Our apartment is more than we dreamed of and the views are spectacular! we are fortunate to face west with views of Lake Washington and the Seattle skyline. Noise level is nothing, sleeping is blissful. The buildings are beautifully decorated making you think you’re in a high end hotel. Amenities are great, business center, gym and lap pool are upscale.
The staff at AMLI made our transition (recent transplants) so easy and have been more than helpful on many occasions to answer questions and or assist with the details of moving. The office is staffed 7 days a week if you need to pick up packages or have a question /​problem in your apartment that needs maintenance attention.
We have met many of our neighbors and everyone is happy and friendly, so refreshing after living in So. California all my life.

This is our second time at the Amli and we’re loyal fans! The management team is just terrific… available, responsive, professional. Same goes for maintenance. Service requests are addressed within 48 hours, always to our satisfaction and with a smile. Thanks to all!

Great place to live. They offer full furnished apts aswell as non furnished. The situation pf the complex is awsome. Just inside Bellevue park. Some apts have amazing view over lake washington and its breathtaking sunsets. I enjoy every minute living here. The complex offers a gum and swimmingpool aswell

We (cat included) just moved out of AMLI, but without a doubt this was one of my favorite places to live.
Views: I was in the East building with an apartment facing East. I had a partial view of the park and the downtown skyline and enjoyed the view daily. You can see neighboring balconies, but in a year I never saw anyone on theirs.
Location: You’re next to super clean and safe downtown park. Shopping is also close, and excellent restaurants are even closer. We liked walking to the lake which is hidden only a couple blocks away.
Management: Everyone I’ve met from AMLI has been professional, friendly, and attentive. They’re respectful of your privacy, but they do get to know you as if you’re a neighbor.
Move-​in/​out: Completely painless. My girlfriend injured herself around the time of our move making things tough. We paid a fair price for a cleaning service offered by AMLI and got our deposit back minus final bills. Easy… So we can enjoy more of our new home and not worry about the old.
Events: AMLI frequently holds tenant events. Football parties, happy hours, BBQ… Awesome way to know your neighbors and get involved. You learn about these through email and courtesy bulletins in the elevator.
Comfort: a little warm in the summer. Had fans going a lot especially when cooking… But there’s a pool. Winter was just right.
Noise: Never heard a single stomp on the floor or pounding on the wall. I did sometimes hear some kids in the hall and local construction did occur frequently during daylight hours (welcome to Bellevue). The park sometimes has events… The windows will block out the noise well.
Maintenance: If you stay somewhere long enough, you’re bound to break something. In our case, a few things… We sent a service request online and it was sometimes fixed that day. Other times, the next day.
Ammenities: There’s a resident lounge, not really my place… I like to relax in my own apartment, but it was nice and had a coffee machine, TV, PCs. The gym was incredible though. It’s rarely crowded and well equipped. The pool didn’t work for a long time, but it does now. Most importantly, in a year, I lost 45 pounds in that gym and trained for my first half marathon. Has your gym done that for you? It’s in the garage, you have no excuse!
If it aligned better with our lives/​goals/​routine, we would still be at AMLI. It’s a great place to live and I already miss calling it home.

Cameron at AMLI at Bellevue Park is by far the best leasing representative that I met in my 20+ apartment hunts during my 2 ½ years in Seattle.
During our visit at AMLI he was extremely professional and nice.
He made sure he understood our requirements to show us the apartments that would fit our needs, he took the right time to show us around, followed up the appointment by sending us a comprehensive email with all the information we needed about the apartments and thorough notes he took during the tour.
Definitely a great experience although we ended up staying at our current place.

Love the location and everything else about this place. Their service is exceptional, especially Cameron.
I was looking at studios — not bad, but not greatest either. Mediocre for the cost. I ended up renting near by due to the cost. I did have to give up on all the amenities to save a few bucks.
One day I will be looking at AMLI at Bellevue Park again.

It’s a nice place close to downtown park and Bellevue square. I also love its fitness center. That is larger than others. it’s a good place do exercise when raining season coming. I just move in on August beginning. The lease office services are good. My service requests are always responded. such as fix door in bathroom or change shower head.
I don’t give 5 since it has some areas could be better. such as swimming pool doesn’t work since I first time inspect the AMLI. And it would be better if fitness center provide the wireless since P2 doesn’t have signal.
Anyway I still recommend it as good choice in Bellevue DT.

The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that no one would believe my review if I said it is perfect. I have lived here for almost a year and here are the things that are amazing to me about this apartment complex:
1. Whenever I call to ask for a repair, they call me back that day to confirm they have received my message;and almost without exception have fixed it that day before I come home from work.
2. The staff is ridiculously nice and helpful. They always greet me with a genuine smile and know me by name.
3. The other tenants in the building seem to be super nice too. It is a bit disconcerting in this cold world, but the people are truly nice. Families, single people, multi-​cultural, young, old and professional. Everyone seems to be represented.
4. The location cannot be beat. It is across the street from Bellevue Park and Bellevue Square, Safeway is nearby and Yogurtland just opened up too.
5. The building is pretty darn quiet and if there is a problem with noise, the staff is very responsive to nip it in the bud.
6. The grounds are immaculate and best of all…
They allow dogs!

I have lived at Amli for a few years and I really enjoy living there. It;s location is great. Near two large grocery stores, Safeway and QFC. It is also very convenient to Bellevue Square. The leasing Staff is excellent.
Specifically, the manager, Allison, is responsive to tenant requests. Cameron who also works in the front office is personable and is good at following through.

I really do love living here. The location is awesome — you are across the street from the downtown park, and within walking distance to 3 other parks. AND you can walk to Bell Square mall, old Bellevue, lake washington, etc. The community always has events going on, and the staff is super friendly! Service requests are always completed immediately. I cant say enough about this place!

Overall this is a very nice place to live. The prices are reasonable for the Bellevue area. They have a variety of floorplans to choose from. The location is one of the things I like the most — we are literally across the street from downtown Bellevue park. If you walk through the park, you are at Bellevue Square Mall/​Lincoln Square. On the other side of the apartment, there is Main Street/​Old Town Bellevue. You can easily walk to the shops and restaurants there (Gilbert’s Deli, Monsoon, La Cocina Del Puerco, Pagliacci etc).
Our apartment faces the center of the complex, so we don’t have much of a view and we can see into other people’s apartments. It’s not the end of the world, but just to be aware of it. There is a water feature in the center of the courtyard we overlook and when the windows are open, it’s a nice background noise. We’ve found the airflow/​ventilation isn’t the greatest, so we open the windows quite a lot. The one nice thing is that the two bedrooms have ceiling fans which have remote controls — so you can lie in bed adjusting how fast the fan goes (and turn off the light without getting up :)
The gym is nice — free weights, a few weight machines (including cable pulley system), variety of cardio machines (stair step, treadmill, elliptical, bikes). There is a children’s pool where they give swimming lessons, so you have to get used to little kids running around screaming while you workout. But it’s a good gym, they keep it clean, and it’s free.
Along with the price and location, one of the reasons we decided to live at AMLI is the staff. From day one, the leasing consultants were both friendly and knowledgeable. They had a genuine interest in finding the apartment that would work best for us. They didn’t try to rush or push us towards buying a more expensive apartment. Since we have been here, they’ve always been great to work with on any questions or concerns we’ve had.
I enjoy living here and would recommend checking out AMLI to anyone who is looking for an apartment!

It is a nice place to live. The location is perfect: Two blocks away from DT Bellevue, One block away from Safeway, the DT Bellevue Park, and Old DT Bellevue.
The apartment complex is well maintained and the managers/​office staff are very helpful and prompt with any request. It has good amenities including gym, pool, lobby area.
The apartments are really good. Finishes vary depending on the apartment you chose, but they are nice. Noise is minimal. Distribution is great is most of the floor plans. Price is good compared to the area.
I will definitely suggest you check it up if you are moving to Bellevue.

We looked at Amli originally because of its great location across from Bellevue Park. However, when we looked at a unit, it was «eh…». Just a basic apartment, moderately worn, but functional. The price at the time was $ 1800 for a mid-​level 2 bedroom. No view, small deck. After looking at other apartments in DT Bellevue, we realized Amli is waaaay overpriced. We met a woman who had moved from Amli to the Bravern (super fancy) who said her rent was CHEAPER at Bravern. We also found a much better place for cheaper at Belcarra.

We moved to Amli in Bellevue in September and cannot wait to get out. Here are the recent highlights:
1. The front door in 10 001 building has been broken twice in the last 3 months. The management’s solution: leave it open during the day, jeopardizing the security of residents and vehicles in the garage, and lock it dead during the evening hours, so the only way into the building is through the garage door. It took them more than two weeks to fix the door, and they «conveniently» decided not to inform the residents about the status of fixing it. Once, there was a poorly written, with grammatical mistakes, note saying it would be fixed December 3, 2009. And, of course, it was not; they just took that note down.
2. Cars break-​ins. See above and guess why the residents got their cars broken into. Yes, the open front door: anyone can get in in the after work hours and go looking for valuables. Never ever leave anything of value in your car if you decide to live there.
3. The office personnel is not responsive and usually simply unavailable. The packages are not delivered to the front door of the apartment and left with the leasing office. The issue is that it would be weeks before one can actually pick it up: the leasing office hours are a joke. They list their office hours as «open till 6». I was there twice during the week of December 14^th, 2009, at 5:20 sharp, waiting for 40 minutes, thinking they might be showing apartments, and finally just ended up leaving both times, after realizing that they just left for the day.
4. Parking: you and your friends can forget about street parking on weekends and on days when Water Babies is in session. They have a pool downstairs, at the underground parking level 2, which provides classes for toddlers. Of course, kids and their parents crowd all the surrounding areas with their cars several times a week, therefore, no one can park along the street or in the parking lot across. Same goes on in winter months due to the ice skating arena in the downtown Park: people all over town come it to skate and park their cars.
5. Smell: Parking level 2 smells like a mixture of chlorine and mold because of the moisture from the pool and a rotten smell from a tiny gym. The gym, fitness First, is free for Amli residents, but would not recommends it: it’s way too dirty and lacking equipment.
6. The thin walls, cheap carpet and narrow, the width of the kitchen cabinets, countertops in the kitchen are not helping our experience either.
The only good thing about Amli is the downtown location, but it has nothing to do with the Amli’s management or the way they treat their residents. The poor management of this community and unreliable office staff are the two main reasons why I would not recommend anyone living there. We have friends living in the nearby Avalon, and, once our 6 months lease expires, we are likely to move there.
