I purchased a groupon for sugaring. I am so glad that I found Beauty MarQ! My Brazilian was so quick! The best sugaring experience that I’ve ever had… I already have my next appointment scheduled!

I had a Brazilian sugaring done and Katana was super quick! I loved not having to spend 45 mins on a table with my legs spread wide. Very respectful and pretty much painless. Much better than waxing! Nice on the skin too, it’s worth the drive.

I have been doing Brazilian wax almost every months for a long time. It was always painful and it always took at least 20min to be done and it was painful after it for at least 10 hours. I decided to try the sugar Brazilian and seriously it took katana less than 8 min. It was the best Brazilian I have ever had. Specially after it. No pain and great awesome gain!!! I recommend katana and I will always keep her customer. She is nice, funny and smart lady. I’m so happy I found you katana. Thank you so much!

I did the sugar wax (Brazilian) and she was amazing! Made me feel super comfortable and the wax turned out great (and quick and not that painful!) She also gave me good advice on exfoliating and to keep on a schedule for waxing/​how long you need to wait and what not. I would recommend this place if it is convenient (and get a good deal) for you!

Enjoyed my visit to this salon where I had sugaring and a facial. The operator is very professional and knowledgeable and explained the procedure along with the aftercare. I have become a regular customer. I highly recommend the services.

Do not EVER go here! The sugaring itself was very rough — I’ve had many treatments other places and have never received such a painful procedure. The owner/​aesthetician even made a disparaging joke about how long it had been since I had been sugared, which is grossly unprofessional and frankly rude.
The worst part is that I am now dealing with horribly ingrown hairs, some of which have caused infections. I have never experienced that, I tend to my aftercare diligently and this has never happened anywhere else. Stay away from this place.

Katana is amazing, I can’t say enough great things. She is very knows her way around sugaring — a true expert. Not to mention she puts you at ease and it’s not painful. I would never consider wax, shaving or anything other than what she does. You won’t regret her.

My girlfriend and I had an appointment at another salon but, we were told they were overbooked 1 hour before our appointment. We had planned a night out on the town a month prior (no kids) and were treating ourselves to an afternoon of pampering. Sadly, we were very disappointed. By chance, we ran across Marq’s Unilocal page, rolled the dice and called. We were told that Katana had left and there was no one available for the services we wanted. To our surprise (shock actually) we received a call from Katana letting us know she was heading back in to the salon if we were still interested. Needless to say, Brook and I looked at each other in surprise. While there, we were treated like royalty and each service we received were executed with finesse and care. I cannot express how much I recommend Beauty MarQ. Katana, we’ll be back. Thank you so much for taking us in after hours and providing such an experience!

Had sugaring from many different places, and I started to get used to how they sugared… I found a Groupon for Beauty Marq and I decided to try it because it was closer to my house anyways. when I first walked in she greeted me with a great big smile and I looked around it looked modern and very welcoming.
Katana made me feel so comfortable right kind of like what the other Unilocaler said on here if you feel like you’re talking to one of your girlfriends. While she was sugaring she maintained conversation with me which was actually nice because i’m such a baby no matter what if she got my mind focused on something else. The way she should garden was so professional and the best I ever had! She was super fast and super efficient And I bought another package! This is a great place to go! Katana really knows what she’s doing!!!

Wanted last minute maintenance and was able to come right in! I got a Brazilian and an underarm wax. It was fast and easy with great service. It felt like I was just chatting with a friend the whole time. I highly recommend this establishment for sugaring!

Katana has been doing my brazillians on and off for years. She is very quick and efficient. I would recommend her for any hair removal! Her facials are fabulous as well. Extractions are usually something I need. She’s gentle and really cleans everything out.

My friends gave me a birthday gift by giving me a facial deal to this establishment. I was very hesitant because I am extremely picky on who I go to as I had a bad experience with breakouts after getting a facial elsewhere. However, when I walked in, I felt at ease because I was personally greeted by Katana who has a wonderful gift of allowing her clients to feel at home and comfortable with the services being requested. What also helped is that the interior was equipped with nicely chosen décor and you can tell that the business really invested in good quality equipment.
Katana’s facial service starts with a lot of pampering and massaging to your face which turns out to be the cleaning process. The products used were very cooling and soothing to the skin, not to mention pleasantly fragrant to where it wasn’t too strong. This is a good thing because I’m very sensitive to strong fragrances. Katana took the extra time to check all the areas of my face and neck. I will admit, there is pain on the removal of these ‘impurities’ but as the saying goes, no pain, no gain! I was so relaxed that there were times that I dozed off! Unfortunately, the next thing I know, the 60 min is up and I had to wake up! I trust Katana and I will go back for continued facial services.

Katana provides one of the best facials I’ve ever experienced. I have adult acne and she makes sure to use the right products and techniques to keep my skin clear. I always leave relaxed and feeling pampered.

This is a perfect little spot to feel like a real lady! Katana is a very talented professional who knows how to make you feel very comfortable with your most private possession. I will never go anywhere in Seattle for any hair removal besides Beauty Marq!

Awesome experience today with Katana! I had only done sugaring once before, and it was only okay. Katana is extremely nice and funny. She’s the only aesthetician I’ve ever had that paid attention to (extracted) my ingrowns and blackheads (yeah, I know, gnarly!) But I really appreciated it. Going in, I thought the price was kind of high, but after she did such a thorough job, I felt it was justified. I felt like she had my best interest in mind, and wasn’t just trying to push products on me like a lot of other salons do. I’ll definitely be going back to see her, and I’d definitely recommend her to my friends!

This place is a true gem! If you’re looking for a place that has seasoned professionals that truly have mastered their style, this is it. This new salon has a personal touch and Katana has truly done a good job in making you feel comfortable in her stylish, polished, and professional new space. Ever since my first time sugaring with
Katana I will never go back to waxing again. This is a girl who knows what she is doing and is good at it! I highly recommend her services, esp for you first timers who have thought about getting sugared but are to «scared» to do it. Katana is very knowledgeable, and will patiently answer questions and address your concerns. Her facials are also excellent– so if you’re ever looking to treat yourself, this is the place to get and feel pretty after :)

So let’s be honest here I’m a big baby when it comes to pain so I was not looking forward to my first Brazilian sugar today. I have to say, now that it’s over, I was stressing for nothing! The Brazilian wasn’t bad at all! Okay, yes it hurt, but only for a second. It was quick, easy, and looks great! I already rescheduled for next time!
