Go early or at opening to avoid the wait. Delicious but definitely avoid typical busy hours. Food was awesome and service extremely courteous. Very Pan-Asian catering to all palettes with the various hot pot selections.

Best hot pot EVER. I always get the beef and am never disappointed. I would drive 3 hours to eat here. Please come to Portland. PLEASE.

I think the only place where that horrible smell will ever be worthy of 4 stars. Because even though it smells like butt, makes my hair smell like butt, and makes my clothes smell like butt — my tummy seems to like the soup. Yes, even though I’m not sure what I’m eating half of the time. Time to start learning more languages!

Long waits, tight spaces but excellent food accompanied by excellent fast service. Avoid the one in Seattle’s Chinatown and travel a little to this one.

This was my first time trying boiling point, and I absolutely loved it! Me and my friends came in an hour before they closed and we weren’t rushed to finish or anything, which is a plus for good customer service! I ordered the Japanese Miso with 2 star spice, and it was extremely delicious. I’ve heard many great things about this place, and now that I finally tried it, I fell in love. Always get the ice cream macaroon as a dessert afterwards! Definitely recommended!

1st time for me, today mine was Thai Style soup and my wife chose Korean Style soup. Both were great, yummy.

Boiling point is a place where you’d go if you want quick & your own individual portion of hotpot. The hotpot is aesthetically pleasing in pictures and looks better than it tastes. There are definitely other authentic hotpot places in the Seattle/Bellevue area. The idea of having your own individual hotpot is creative and a fun idea but if you are more concerned about the taste than the look then I wouldn’t recommend it for the taste.

Boiling Point is a really unique food experience. It’s a personal hot-pot placed in front of you, with a hot soup filled a TON of things(noodles, beef, cabbage, mushrooms, pork intestines, clam — just to name a few that were in the Taiwanese Hot Soup I ordered). The Taiwanese Hot Soup I ordered was HOT! Make sure you ask the waitresses to turn the hot pot off at some point — I made the rookie mistake to keep the soup perpetually boiling(and scalding me with each delicious sip!). It was also extremely spicy, my eyes and nose were severely watering(I’m a big fan of spicy so this hit the spot!). If it were just the food Boiling Point would get a higher rating. Unfortunately, the place is spread way too thin. Parking outside is almost impossible, you have to deal with long lines to be seated, and the waitresses always seem like they’re rushed and can be forgetful.

I always hear about this place, so my cousin and I finally found time to try it out. We had tried one other hot pot restaurant before, and didn’t like it too much, but this one, we really enjoyed. We ordered the Thai Flavor Hot Soup and the Taiwanese Spicy Hot Soup. They were both really good and really flavorful. Had a lot of good ingredients and meats in them. They were both the bigger size bowls, but we finished them both. They keep the hot pots boiling, I guess that’s why it’s called Boiling Point, but I was too hungry to sit there and blow every spoonful to cool down. Our tongues was pretty burnt by the time we finished eating, and for the next couple days. And we had to try the macaron ice cream; we both tried the mango one. It was not what we expected, I thought it would be better. It was very hard, like it was over-frozen; it almost hurt my teeth to bite into it. And I had thought the macaron would be nice and soft or chewy, like a regular ice cream sandwich, but it was extra crispy, and just broke apart in crumbles all over my lap. We didn’t finish them. And service wasn’t really there. When we walked in, it was pretty empty. They didn’t acknowledge us, and continued to do what they were doing before finally coming to us. I almost thought if we had to seat ourselves. And very hard to get their attention after that; we had to wave our hands and call out to them for more water or napkins.

Was visiting my sister and her boyfriend and we came here 3⁄5 days I was in town! I love hot pot, they give you a lot of meats and seafood in a large broth pot. My favorites are the Thai and Beef soup. I recommend ordering the black tea with your meal! It compliments well with the hot pot. This place is always packed and always had a line. Waited probably 20 – 30 minutes but it was worth it!

My friend asked me to come here for lunch because it was pouring outside. We thought hot soup would complete the mood. I don’t know about you, but my GPS was just acting insane. Both Google and Apple Maps kept directing me to the other side of the plaza where Boiling Point(BP) was. I had to park my car at Bellevue Square and walked 2 blocks to the restaurant. Anyway, the rule is you need to put your name down and the number of people in your party on a list, so your name would be called. It was a quick wait, and my friend and I were seated within 20 minutes. There were many options on the menu with different types of broth and optional add-in(s), from extra meat to extra vegetables. I forgot what my friend ordered, but I remember the broth was just spicy. I hate spicy stuff. I ordered the broth that had lamb in it. I liked the way the waitress finished the final touch with the hot pot by cracking an egg in the soup to cook it. Of course, my ditzy butt did not submerge the egg all the way to cook it. Oops! My portion was very generous with meats, vegetables, and noodles. I enjoyed it very much. I thought the soup was so perfect for the rain. I will definitely come back again. And yes, the tea was just amazing with the hot soup. Great job, BP!

If you have a stomach of steel this is the place for you! You want good soup go to Kukai… I had the Japanese miso which was decent but the stuffed fish ball was no bueno. The side sauces were delicious. I ended up dipping my meat in it and eating it with the side of steam rice it comes with. The bubble milk tea was delicious. The fermented tofu was awful, don’t bother even trying just to say you’ve tried it– its not worth it The macaron ice cream had freezer burn Not my thing. I wont be back!

PARKING Small parking lot with compact spots. Careful going in and coming out. We had some trouble finding parking since many spots were reserved for specific shops. INTERIOR/EXTERIOR It’s a small restaurant. Since it was nice and cozy inside, it was nice escaping the cold. Walking in was narrow — there was not a very large waiting area(no seats available) and you basically squeeze through to put your name on the waiting list. Interior is nice and modern, but also a little small. Wait did not take too long for us either. We waited about 30 minutes. MENU Menu is identical to their chains in California. However, whether it was due to the painstaking hunger and chilly weather here, hot pot was perfect and everything tasted on point. Their ingredients here taste fresh and our additional ramen noodles was the perfect add in to my soup. In terms of drinks, we got complementary green/black tea from the lunch special. In addition, we also ordered additional boba drinks that were a little more on the sweet side in my opinion. SERVICE Server was nice and attentive. We had a little trouble getting our order right because it was a little complicated with the drinks. But every time we needed anything such as more soup, someone else will be right at it. Quick and efficient, which is great. Overall, it was an interesting dining experience to compare the restaurant between this Washington location and the ones back at home. Hot pot on a cold day is perfect.

Lamb hot pot with a side of spinach noodles(packaged & tasted like green ramen) and iced green tea. Came right at 11:00 for lunch. I’m obsessed with boiling point and their lunch combo for $ 10.99 is a steal. Your food comes out pretty fast. They also have stamp cards!

Sooooooooo good! Ordered the Kimchi hot pot(medium i.e. 3 stars) it delivered on spice and flavor. I can’t wait to go back! FYI: limited seating so expect to wait outside until your name/number is called

First of all, do not come to this place if you are starving to death, and if it’s dinner time!!! Always have to wait longer than 30 mins…(To many people in Bellevue and Seattle location… Redmond isn’t as bad but it does get busy also). Parking lot does get full depending on what time you come. I went during dinner time on weekend and I got the last spot luckily! I tried other Chinese hot pots, but I always go back to the boiling point. Some chinese hot pot place charges extra for the sauce. like really??? now I appreciate Boiling point giving them for free. lol. And… their portion is pretty big. I always have leftover that I bring home, and the food tastes still good after heated at home. I always get fish curry soup and it is THEBEST! It has fish cake, noodle, egg, veggies, corn, meat– pretty much everything I need.(and order 4 – 5 star. omg if you love really really spicy food, try their Taiwanese spicy soup and good luck the next day. gg) In terms of dessert… I like their Hokkaido bubble tea with tapioca. It’s not too sweet but not too boring. It tastes like Asia. Whatever that means. :) Don’t forget to get a stamp card for your soup and your drink separately! I think every 10 soup you get a free meal, and for 5 drinks you get one for free. It is pretty a sweet deal if you love chinese hot pot. I am not diggin their ice cream sandwich though. feels like it’s a little rip off and is not worth 5 bucks. This place does get loud with people and your clothes will smell like chinese hot pot. Great place for a get-together with friends, family, lovers– but not so a great place for your new date.

I’ve tried a few Boiling Points before and I have to say that I think the ones in SoCal are better. This branch is one of the smaller one that I’ve been to and the wait is crazy. I’ve been here with a party of 2 and more and the wait has always been over 30 minutes. For food, their individual hotpots are alright. I’ve noticed that they will sometimes skim on the meat and pack it with cabbage. #8−10 are priced to be more expensive and have more bang for your buck. I’d recommend the Taiwanese Spicy if your starving and the beef if you’re less than that. The milk tea is not that great; it tastes a little watered down rather than«more tea» or «more milk based». Customer service is so-so. You’ll have to reel in your server because its so busy all the time. I had a tough time because spicy isn’t my friend and I needed to refill the tiny water cup they give out.

I had been wanting to try Boiling Point for a while now, but the long line has always deterred me. I highly recommend going at an unusual meal time if you’re not in the mood to wait. I believe I went around 3PM on a Saturday and still had to wait about 20 minutes. I had the Spicy Taiwanese Hot Pot and I believe my mother had the House Special. The Spicy Taiwanese Hot Pot was so delicious and definitely hit the spot on a gloomy, rainy day. I did not like the House Special as much, but it was still good. I really like that they give you black or green tea with your hot pot, and the iced green tea was delicious. The snow cubes are also super yummy and well-portioned post-hot pot treats!

Got food poisoning from here, haha. I assumed it was from not letting my egg cook all the way. The room smells like gas. Expect a long line; bring a tv or something since it’ll take about an hr to get in. No, they don’t take your phone numbers, so you have to be in the area. The food is meh. I can easily make my own hotpot and even put more food in it than filling half the pot with like cabbage. I got the lamb hot pot, so it had some lamb(which was chewy), pork blood rice cake(omnom), and a few fish balls. WARNING: I was surprised, but a 3 star was pretty spicey, haha. My s.o. and I kept drinking our small cup of water. Oh yeah, they give you really small paper cups and barely refill it. You have to ask them to refill every time.(We asked probably 10 times). I’m glad I experienced it, but probably won’t be back. I do like their ice cream macarons, which are shipped from california(the more you know)

Went here on a weekday night and the wait wasn’t very long for a party of 9. Like many others at my table, I ordered the Beef Hot Soup #4 with 2 stars of spiciness which was just enough to give it a kick yet still make the meal an enjoyable one. The broth was delicious and the portion was just right since it came with a side of rice. Service was excellent as they were so accomodating as our party grew from an anticipated 7 to 9 and we had some customized orders going on too. The only thing that made it tough was the bill could only be paid with up to 4 transactions. Luckily it was mostly couples there so it wasn’t too difficult, but plan on a few of you bringing cash if you have a large group! Also the parking is free but the lot is pretty small and has a lot of reserved spaces for patrons of particular shops.
