Had a company event there and that was my first time at Cast Iron. It’s definitely a good place to hold an event. It’s a bare floor plan so you can set it up the way you’d like to. The food was good — a couple of my favorites were the crab cakes, & beef skewers. The baked Brie was THEBEST! It was a hit for everyone! The dessert was ok – nothing to rave about. We had lemon tartlets, apple pecan tartlets, and salted chocolate caramel. Service was great! The servers was very attentive — as soon as our plates were empty, he was right there to pick them up. Didn’t even have to ask. The only downfall is the parking. They have a very small parking. Some of us ended up parking at The Galleria parking garage which they don’t validate. However our server gave me a tip — Tap House will validate no questions asked… and he was right!

My work had their Christmas party here recently, and I was very impressed. The space is gorgeous. It is connected directly to Purple. The food catered to our party by Purple was delicious. The servers were all wonderful. All in all I was very happy with this location for a party of about 60ish people. Great location in downtown Bellevue. Cons: Parking lot is very small. The Lift down to the space level is broken, so handicap people had to go down and around to the Purple entrance on another street to get in, in the rain, which was unfortunate, and could have been handled better.

As an event planner, I’m always on the hunt for great new spaces. I worked a wedding here a couple weeks ago and absolutely loved the space! Perfect size, versatile, modern with a touch of vintage flare and gorgeous wood work. The food and service deserve 5 stars. It’s a great team of people working there. I will definitely refer clients for booking their events.

This is the old Barrio, and I think it’s an excellent event space with some of the same features as the restaurant. We had our company holiday party here last week and it was big enough to hold about 100 – 150 guests. I love the stairwell going down to the main room because you can overlook the bar and room and it feels elegant. You walk down and take a left and you’ll be in the other room which is a nice alternative to the larger main room with the bar. The space is dimly lit and has fancy-looking lights that give it a rustic feel. The catering was absolutely delicious — mac n’ cheese, grilled shrimp, veggie skewers, etc. they were very yums! I also really loved the drinks — the cocktails were stiff, but tasty at the same time. Overall, I had a great time and I felt like I had a lot of room to walk around or tables to sit at too.

This place is owned by the Purple Tapas bar next door and caters to special events. I don’t know if our dinner plan compares to others, but I would assume they have a minimal menu selection to choose from since it is cooked next door. Overall the experience was very good. The food was served family style with multiple plates of food served to each table where we decided what we wanted to eat. The food was good, the service was excellent but the surroundings reminded me of a rave bar(from what I’ve seen on Jersey Shore). The concrete floors added an industrial flair to the place. We had about 50 people in our party and we had plenty of room and never felt crowded. It was a good experience all the way around.
