This Chili’s is no va — it’s closed! I can’t wait to see what replaces it here at Crossroads.

Chili’s of Bellevue is closed… bummer! Now the only one in the Puget Sound is down by SeaTac.

i heard that crossroads would be considered the ghetto of bellevue which i found that to be untrue… it was more the Normandy Park of Bellevue… little scummy… but harmless old people abound! anyways about the food and stuff. the restaurant was packed. but we didn’t have to wait(party of THREE. such an odd number when finding tables) we got seated right away and then came the slop i have to say, i think it’s just me. but i’m so tired of the mini burgers or the talapia specials ala TGIFridays. so i ordered a salad. but alas, it was the same salad i have ordered at red robin or TGIFs… so maybe i just need to know what i’m getting myself into when i go to these places, hopefully this review let you know!

This seems like a typical Chili’s. Your normal chain with tex-mex and random mix of things. We went in because a friend is a waiter and I promised to come visit sometime. The service was great, but then again, my waiter sits next to me in several classes… Food was also quite good, which I don’t think the friend had too much influence on. It was typical food, but came out warm and what you expect. It’s a good place to get some drinks and some chain-style food some afternoon or evening. It’s like an average, predictable movie… don’t go in with too high of expectations(it is a chain) and you’ll probably come out satisfied.

Went on a Friday night… It was busy… Luckily, there were some spots in the bar. We sat in a booth. The seat wasn’t dirty but it looked dirty. I don’t think they have done any remodeling in years. The reason we went was because we kept seeing an ad on the television promoting their new burgers. I had the four mini burgers. They were pretty tasty. The buns were actually pretty good. Their fries are decent but I still think Red Robin fries are better. My wife ordered the BBQ burger. It was huge. She ate only half and complained that it was too greasy. The next day day she said that I could eat it for lunch but we I came home she told me to heat it up for her. She was going to eat it. So, I guess she liked it. I don’t know if we will go back soon since we live in Seattle and seems like a long ways a way for a hamburger.

Never a bad time. I’ve frequented this tex-mex inspired chain late night with friends, came with the rents’ and even brought a date here and it has been all good. The bar is fun and service is fast. They seem to understand it when I ask the hostess not to be seated around children and while some of you may gasp even now, I appreciate a restaurant who understands that I don’t want my meal to be ruined by other peoples misbehaved offspring. Try the ribs(of course) and the lettuce wraps. The blue pacific margarita is effing perfect!(I don’t even like margaritas.) They’ve got a salad called the quesadilla explosion that could feed you and a small village(and may not be on the super healthy side), but it is sooooo good! I also recommend the Guiltless Salmon burger… it’s really good and you hardly realize you’re making the healthy choice!
