Days Inn Bellevue Seattle

I stay here often when on business in the Seattle area. Price is right. The desk people are friendly and helpful. The room is fairly clean and love the flat screen and bed. Always sleep well here. It’s what you get for the price. The elevator has not worked for a long time and I get tired of having to hall luggage up three flights of stairs, but I am in shape to handle it. Watched an older guy tonight struggling to get his luggage up the stairs, not good. Staff told me today they are finally going to fix that elevator. The breakfast is a fill the void kind of thing and fine for me. The area is just too small. Got to give them 4 stars. One of the better budget hotels I stay in.

My brother recommended us to stay in Bellevue area because it’s one of the best areas to stay in Seattle. We found a great deal with Days Inn Bellevue through
. We got a king-​sized bed, which could accommodate both of us and our infant. The room is pretty spacious & the heater works fine. There are also mini fridge and microwave! The receptionists are always helpful & friendly. When I had an issue at the laundry room because my coins got eaten by the detergent machine, the manager refunded my money and guided me on how to use the washer & dryer. Breakfast doesn’t have many choices and the room is very small, but it’s a motel so can’t expect much, at least I got my fresh coffee every morning. Housekeeping cleans our room & bathroom well everyday. I just wish that they provided liquid soap in the bathroom.

We checked in late! Nice desk guy named Daniel. Because we were staying there, we received 10% off at Chinese restaurant next door. The outside of the motel was beat down a bit but our room was clean, smelled clean, nice bedding and bathroom. We slept well!
Only disappointing thing was the continental breakfast– not much to offer and the dining area is waaaaayyy to small for the size of the motel.

Cheaped out on an Embassy Suites wedding across the street ($ 300/​night) and booked at Days Inn for a third of the price. Definitely a value, as it was half as good?
Despite its West Coast location, single queen room was certainly NYC-​small, with five feet of space between the bed and any particular wall surface. Sheets were soft in the hundred-​wash threadbare way, but the bed was otherwise comfortable. Appreciate that they throw a flat sheet over the comforter, finally acknowledging that those things are dirtier than they seem.
Odd controls on the tub/​shower, with a secondary ring slowly calibrating heat. Water pressure was low-​normal. Parking was ample, but tight for our Chevy Impala.
Breakfast was typical Wyndham, though without the DIY waffle iron or sausage gravy featured at Howard Johnsons. Then again, there’s a McDonald’s across the parking lot, and Jack-​in-​the-​Box two doors over!

Room was nice, everything was alright, and this was one of the cheapest prices in the area.
However, their WiFi is awfully slow (I ended up using my phone’s data tethering instead), and free breakfast is typical free breakfast — very basic.
But for the price it’s still a good deal, hence 4 stars. I’d definitely come back!

Good central location and super friendly staff but I had to give a low rating for cleanliness. I was expecting a bit low-​budget becuase their prices are low, however I found drugs on the bathroom floor. Thank god I dont have pets or small kids! The staff was applologetic but still– basic cleaning would have easily seen the capsule. It wasn’t just a few hairs in the shower but a danger. The other issue was they use a very strong Febreeze-​like spray to cover the musty smell of the old carpet but it was so strong it affected my Dads breathing. We had to leave the door propped open for a few hours.

I wanted to be as close to Snoqalmie as much as possible, but didn’t want to pay a lot for a room. Enter Days Inn here in Bellevue/​Seattle.
I had looked in North Bend and Issaquah for affordable options, bur there was none. I believe that this Days Inn may have been a motel 6 property before being rebranded as a Days Inn, but that’s just me. I was here for 2 nights on 26 – 27 April 2015. I got room 118, if I am not mistaken. The room was conveniently located next to the office and across the way was the ice machine and vending machine. It was definitely the cheaper alternative when hotel room prices in Issaquah were priced over $ 100 a night. Days Inn Bellevue/​Seattle seemed to be the right fit for me and my budget. Plus, the hotel sits conveniently on the I-​90, so definitely easy to get on and off. My stay here at the Days Inn was positive and comfortable, not to mention cost effective and affordable for budget conscious travelers — like myself. Overall, I’d recommend the Days Inn brand, but be wary of those property rebranding deals.
This Days Inn property sits at 3241 156^th Street SE in Bellevue. A McDonald’s, Starbucks, 7 Eleven, and a Jack in the Box all sit about a minute walk from this property. This hub of convenience is great! Unless you want something better, check out Unilocal for whatever suits your fancy, but for me, meals at these fine establishments suits me just fine. The Days Inn here in Bellevue has ample parking on site and it is free. They accept the major credit cards, but best bet would be to shop online for the best rates before arrival. I paid about $ 70 or so a night before arrival and it was as cheap as it can get, versus the $ 159 in Issaquah, where I probably would have regretted it. So glad I switched at the last minute. The check in and out process was fast and quick, definitely nice, but you’d need to fill out vehicle information on the hotel form, as is standard operating procedure. The continental breakfast that was served beginning 6am was adequate, basically cereal, muffins, coffee, and juices. Nothing extraordinary, yet everything ordinary.
The room itself was decently good. It was clean, yet comfortable at the same time. The bed itself was comfortable, so a good 7 hours of sleep for each night I was there in Bellevue was the recipe I needed. Everything worked the way it should, so that was reassuring. The only thing that was a crapshoot was the wifi. It wasn’t as strong as I thought it would be, but it is what it is. You get what you pay for and it was a good stay for 2 nights, especially with what you are paying. If you are on a budget and in the Bellevue area, best bet would be to stay here and not in the Seattle-​Tacoma airport area. You deserve better and not have to be there. The service here is friendly and minimal, which is what I wanted. Get in and out with privacy to do whatever you need to do while in Seattle. It makes me happy that I enjoyed this stay at this Days Inn and hope to be back soon.

A thrifty traveler’s delight! I wasn’t planning to spend the night in Bellevue, but a blown tire convinced me otherwise. Found this place on Unilocal.
The rate was a real bargain (about $ 85 for 1 adult + 3 kids+ tax= about $ 109 – w/​AAA discount). The 800– number rate was cheaper than online.
Room was clean & quiet, beds were comfortable, towels were reasonable. Room had a fridge & coffee maker.
Breakfast was just so-​so, but that’s not a dealbreaker for me.
Service was outstanding! Very helpful & friendly. That was a real bonus.
There are plenty of places to dine close by. I didn’t eat at Little. Johns, but have in the past & it was solid. The motel offers discounts there.
Not a palace, but a very good deal, especially if you’re on a budget.

Wyndham hotels can be a crap shoot, especially on the lower tier brands. Faced with a tighter travel budget lately, I’ve found myself having to pick a Days Inn, Microtel, or Super 8 over something like a Marriott or Hilton to keep the expenses down. Since Wyndham doesn’t have as tight quality controls on its franchisees as others it can be a roll of the dice. When I find a good one I feel I have to Unilocal the heck out of it.
This hotel is a winner. Sure, it was probably built 30 years ago, but it’s impeccably maintained inside & out. The rooms have recent model AC units that aren’t too loud. The TV is a flat screen. The plumbing fixtures are all recent. The furniture is recent and not all scratched up. The linens are great. The room might not be that big but it’s functional and best of all it’s quiet. All the highway noise you hear outside vanishes when you close the door. And the price is right.
My only quibble is they could use more outlets at the desk & night stands for charging stuff. But for $ 99 a night I’ll cut them some slack.
I’d book it again.

The room and everything was pretty clean. The breakfast wasn’t my favorite, but hey it’s food. I just wish they had eggs or some type of meat. It was just fruit, coffee, and cereal. And the bed in was in with my partner, we we’re a bunch of sweaty fools. Those sheets attract heat very easily. Only coming back if I need a cheap room to stay.

Sorry days inn but you need get with the times. Heck microsshaft I mean microsoft is right down the street. The Internet connection is horrible!!! The room was clean and bed was comfortable but the pillows were hard as a rock. Nice to have a laundry facility. Free breakfast was where? Wait you had a food? No really, You would be better off just giving coupons to Starbucks or lil jons restaurant. I wish I could have given you a better rating. Although I would say you were better than the comfort inn in Kirkland.

I was booked for 3 days and there were bed bugs in the room I stayed in, but the overnight desk attendant was very friendly and was trying his best to compensate. However they were out of spare rooms and could not switch my room so I demanded a refund so that I could move to another hotel, but I was told I could not be refunded. I talked to the owner of the hotel on the same night and he did not care to compensate and he was very rude and didn’t even care to apologize. I ended up having to stay all 3 nights without any room switches despite arguing my case and witnessing new walk in guests.
Wifi was absolutely terrible. You simply cannot get work done in this place. A/​C is broken and no hot showers surprisingly. The continental breakfast was pretty bad. Some of the food they put out are from the day before. I only know this because I saw the difference between the fresh danishes and the old ones. The old ones had their frosting melted away and were stale. There were also fruit flies in the juice dispenser. Not a great experience for $ 109.

Stayed here a few weeks ago while visiting Seattle, as it was the cheapest option we could find. It does look like they’ve done some renovations, but the room is still kinda dumpy. The bathtub looked like it had seen better days, and the sink faucet shot out water, so water would get everywhere when you went to simply wash your hands. The wifi was terrible. You were lucky if it even loaded one page for you, which I imagine would be a great inconvenience if any businessmen stayed here.
Their breakfast was barely passable. The coffee tasted like dirty water (thank god for the Starbucks nearby), the fruit bowl consisted of only a couple of bananas (not good for those who don’t eat bananas), the ‘frozen waffles’ were just sitting out and were quite stale.
If you want a good deal on a hotel, and you don’t have high standards, then stay here. But otherwise, it’s not somewhere I would stay again.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, Internet couldn’t even load a page… for today’s business needs, unacceptable. When I asked for room that faced the rear so the noise would be quieter I was told it was unavailable and if it was it would be more money. Paid $ 115 a night. Not a great deal.
It was ok, Barely in Bellevue… next time I’ll spend more money.

This property was a pleasant surprise. This means we will certainly be back. Needed a hotel to rest out heads overnight on our road trip. Downtown Seattle was outrageously priced for a quick turn around and we thought we would give it a shot.
We paid less than $ 100 including taxes. It had free parking and a 15% off voucher to the diner less than a block away.
To our surprise the room, which faces the parking lot, a McDonald’s, and Starbucks’s was quiet. The rooms appear to be recently renovated with a comfortable bed, nice décor and a flat screen TV.
For the value this property represents it gets 5 stars, overall we had little expectations as we do on any property under $ 100/​night in a large city.
We will be back!

some of the reviews here are pretty old so I am guessing the hotel has gone through some renovation recently. I just stayed there and it was not moldy, mattress was solid, pillows were comfy, though I wish I had a softer one. No funny smell coming into the room. I looked all over too and the wallpaper was nice and clean. Carpet was clean. Bathrm was nice and clean and well caulked. there was a bit of hot and cold water issue going on like I was battled for the hot water with my next door guests but nothing bad. no grime or anything funky.
staff was nice and pleasant. they had continental bfast, no hot food but you want something quick and easy then it’s there for you otherwise you can go next door to McDonalds or if you walk past the car dealership, there is a Tully’s and a Subways.
they kept pushing L’il John’s restaurant which is in walking distance and they must have a special arrangement cause they gave me a 15% discount card but it sucked so go somewhere else to eat. they never suggested anything else really but it’s only a 10 mins drive to the Crossroads mall and the Bellevue mall area. I-​90 is right there. If you want to stay local, take a right and another right to 148^th and there are plenty of other places to eat along that main road. I found Greek Express which was great!

our room had a safe, frig and microwave. all functioning, clean and nice to have.
it is a no-​frills and basic hotel. For our purposes, we needed to stay somewhere close to Redmond (only 10 – 15 min drive) for a conference and it was just fine and we would go back again.
oh and prices have gone up since many of these postings. it was one of the cheapest we can find in the Bellevue area. I was kinda surprised. most of the hotels were about the same as Seattle hotels (about or close to $ 200 avg/​night). Days Inn was still about $ 130/​night. go figure!

Well, all the basic hotel amenities are there, it’s the quality of everything that made our stay there terrible.
The only good things about it were the location, price, and the staff. It’s right by I-​90 so you can get where you need to go, and well… the price is low. The two people at the front desk my husband and I interacted with were very nice and there were no problems there.
However you really get what you pay for. The thing I immediately noticed upon entering the room was that the mattress sagged horribly. I have to wonder how old that thing was, because neither my husband or myself got a good night’s sleep on it. Plus if it’s that old, what in the world could be lurking in there? I actually ended up getting bitten by something overnight as I woke up with spots that itched, but there was no way to tell exactly where they came from.
The bathroom had mildew (aka mold) in it, both along the grout and up the walls. I’m really allergic to this stuff, but my husband and I didn’t feel like we could get a better room if this is what they had to offer in the first place. Cue my allergies tormenting me the whole time we were in that room.
Since all the rooms have doors on the outside, it made us feel pretty unsafe despite the locks on the doors. I wouldn’t open the windows overnight for that reason, plus when you do open them in comes the noise from McDonald’s and their customers (hello blaring loud car music!).
Bottom line here is if you can afford to go somewhere else please do so, especially if you have any health concerns like myself!

We stayed here for Seafair. I booked my room through Expedia and apparently they only give out certain rooms with the deals they give. Those rooms happen to be the rooms that surround the elevator and soda machines (where everyone hangs out). I specifically requested not to be located near them. We had no choice the first night as they had nothing available.
The following day they put is in a better room. I can tell you right now the rooms near the elevator are not as nice as the other rooms. I believe they put less upgrades in those rooms and offer them cheaper. Lesson learned on my part. They had an ok breakfast and a below average staff.
We brought our own pillow into the room and the maid took it our last night there??? So that’s gone and they didn’t seem interested in looking very hard for it.
If I were to stay in the area again, I would spend a little more to stay somewhere else.

The worst hotel in my life!!!
I planed to stay here together with my wife on my way from Canada to California on June 5, but did not get approprate service and left to another hotel in 20 minutes after arrival — no refund is done.
First of all, hotel was dirty and smelling like s***t. My wife was not able to stay for a night there.
Second, I needed Internet for couple of hours, but wifi did not work there. Receptionist Jan said that I have to go to McDonalds!!! This was not I expected for $ 100 per night. I left the hotel and booked another hotel for the same money in downtown of Seattle through Hotel tonight. Next day I talked to Days Inn Manager Randy Nelson — he ignored the issue and reject to refund, and said that wil call for police of I will insist. This guy and his assistant were very rude. I would fire both of them if I’ll be the owner of hotel.
I booked this hotel through Orbitz — they refused to issue compensation as well, although Days Inn manager Randy Nelson claimed that Orbitz took 50% fee in my case. It was the worst client experience in my life!
P. S. Days Inn guys made fake positive reviews for their hotel (see Tony T. review for 1÷23÷2012) — be careful.

I called the day we were to arrive to inform them we would be checking in late that evening, since my husband ended up having to work until 8pm that night. The woman we spoke to acted like we were nuts for calling, because, as she put it «you’ve already paid for the room». When we did arrive that night around 11pm, the staff informed us that they weren’t sure we were going to show up, indicating that this woman had not informed them we were coming late. I guess as long as they got their money…
I wasn’t expecting much for the very low price we were paying… and I received it in abundance. The room was extremely small and faced the drive thru of a 24 hr McDonalds. The room was in a creepy, rapey dark corner of the building, and was as far from a parking space as we could have gotten without going to the hotel down the street. All of this could have been forgiven, as the rates were very affordable, however the incredibly lackluster housekeeping, lousy cable reception, useless air conditioning, and a mini fridge that froze all of our food solid overnight really made the experience miserable. The room was extremely hot and stuffy at night, the AC did nothing, and opening the window was ill-​advised since it just filled the room with noise and exhaust from the drive thru. The bathroom was so small, you literally had to step into the tub to close the door, and the shower curtain had large amounts of mildew on it. Our second day staying there, no one serviced our room while we were gone, even though we had left early in the day and had not returned until late in the evening. The bed had a creepy «dirty hair» smell to it that made me feel like I was sleeping in someone else’s bed on dirty sheets.
The most annoying thing by far has been the amount of spam emails I have been getting from Days Inn since we stayed here. At least once or twice a day I get some promotional thing from them. It’s like a bad blind date begging to go out again.
I don’t plan to stay here again if I can help it.
