Fire Fitness & Conditioning

I’ve worked with most of the coaches here over the last year from my personal sessions in power lifting to cardio bootcamps with all of the trainers to kickboxing with that coach. They’re all so incredibly high energy, you can’t really not feel like doing something in there.
The equipment is as good as it gets. Rogue Competition bumpers, 3 squat racks, half a dozen benches, and enough bands and kettle bells to lift any way imaginable.
What you get here above all is risk-​aversion. This isn’t a crossfit class where they have you jerk heavy ass weights around with minimal supervision. Everything is very specific and they explain the musculoskeletal reasons for doing specific exercises in specific ways.
Ever had a personal trainer throw you on a treadmill for 20 minutes while he chatted up the receptionist and came back and paid little to no attention to you or your goals? That kind does NOT exist here. Personal training here is PERSONAL.
I mean that too. I’ve got to Seahawks games, out to lunch, etc. with my coaches. They’ve taken a full hour out to sit and talk nutrition or goals with me just randomly. Big box gyms will get you 15 minutes of that twice a year, these guys actually care. Most people in this gym knows my body, my goals, my personal life goals, struggles, joys, etc.
The members here are outstanding as well. Everyone is positive and really cares about each other. I’ll be in lifting on an «off day» and have other members/​coaches pull me in to their workouts and push that much harder.
The effect this place has had on my life is immeasurable. I’ve said for a long time that mental health starts with physical health, but I really get both here. I don’t write this long review to help drive business, I write it because if you’re on the fence of what to do, pushing yourself to get with this group regularly will absolutely change your life.

The most amazing fitness training you will ever find. The trainers and members treat you like a part of a big family. Everyone is welcome irregardless of fitness level. It is not just the trainers, we all hold everyone else accountable. Come check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

This is a harder review to write, just because of my struggles with weight. I been on the yo-​yo weight struggle all my life. I unfortunately am the heaviest I have EVER been. Anyone that has struggled with weight knows the other struggles that go along with it; no energy, self-​esteem issues etc etc. I finally had enough and needed to do something. A close friend of mine has gone to Fire Fitness and had nothing but GREAT things to say about the team. I have to admit I’m cheap, but clearly the current membership I had a planet fitness wasn’t working, considering I haven’t walked through their doors in months. With this said, I knew that clearly my current workout régime wasn’t working, and I needed to buck up and spend the money if I wanted change.
I ended up emailing Ryan Stephan the end of May 2015. The next week I started working out. I have to say it has been one of the BEST decisions I have ever made. Not only is the Fire Fitness team extremely supportive, they know that everyone has different goals, and are at different levels of their fitness régime.
Before starting with Fire Fitness, my régime consisted of sitting all day at work, and going home to sit in front of the TV, with a few glasses of wine. NOW, I am working out 3 times a week, and would like to increase this. I am also, eating better.
The best part is that, not only is the Team amazing, but the Members are too. Everyone pushes each other to get that final push-​up done or whatever it is that we currently are working on. The atmosphere alone is VERY positive, and you feel apart of a team/​family.
Its been a little over a month since I’ve started and I’ve noticed a HUGE difference. I have more energy, I feel muscles that, I prefer to say, have been on vacation for a while. LOL.
Another thing that I absolutely love is that, when you do have a day, and want to talk yourself out of working out, you feel really bad for letting the team/​family down. So you go, and you feel so much better that you did. Ryan periodically sends me texts, just to tell me how proud he is of me for working hard that night; on the flip side he also sends texts holding me accountable. I cant say enough positive things about Fire Fitness. If you have any questions, please feel free to send me a message. I can’t believe I haven’t written a review for Fire Fitness yet. What can I say, Fire Fitness literally changed my life in more ways than just getting in shape. I’ve been training with these guys for the past 3.5 years and it’s ridiculous for me to think about going anywhere else. I joke that if you just do what they tell you to do, you’ll be in the best shape of your life, and it’s almost that simple. The passion from Ryan Stefan and his team is infectious. They truly want to see you improve every day and reach the goals you’ve set for yourself and it doesn’t take long to realize they know exactly how to get you there. You just need to show up and be ready to work. The inspiration from the coaches and the other FF clients (many of whom are like my family now) will make that hour go by quicker than you ever thought possible. Very soon a funny thing will happen; you’ll start to love it and look forward to that hour. This isn’t a job for these guys and gals, it’s their lifestyle. Now it’s my lifestyle too and I feel better physically and mentally than I ever have before, and I have everyone at FF to thank.

This place is the best!!! The trainers will push you to your max!!! Get ready to lose fat and get strong:)

What a amazing team that Coach Stefan has put together. I am starting on my 3^rd week and it is truly life changing. Coach Stefan and Coach Cooper are pushing me to reach each challenge and it making me have confidence to try other things outside of the gym.
My core is getting stronger with each workout. They are a very positive team and are helping me make the positive changes mentally to reach my personal goals.

I’ve been training with Ryan for about 5 months. They are absolutely amazing. They push you to new levels all while staying safe and in control. You are always doing new fun exercises with groups of people that really support eachother and have similar goals. I’ve lost 70 lbs in the last 6 months and all of that is attributed to my workouts and nutrition plan given to me by Ryan. Having been almost 300 lbs in ¹²⁄₂₀₁₁ this has truly been a life changing experience in every sense of the word. I’ve had to by all new clothes! Which is actually fun to do. My health has improved to a point where my lab results continuously impress my doctors. All of this is because of Ryan and Fire Fitness. They have kept me honest and committed with goals that are attainable and meausureable. Having been a trainer in a previous life I can honestly say that these guys are the real deal and incredible people too boot. Come check them out once or twice and I promise you will be hooked. It’s like a drug, but a drug that keeps you healthy and looking good! Can’t say enough about my fitness family, just come check it out!

I’ve always considered myself to be a fairly active person with a decent mix of basketball and tennis to keep me in shape. I’ve done Crossfit a few times with good results, but noticed that I was becoming increasingly injury prone. I decided at the beginning of the year that I would be running my first full marathon, which would require 5 days a week of running for 6 months. Given the weight loss that would occur, I knew I needed to maintain my conditioning and not lose what little muscle I had during the training process. Its at that time, that after months of seeing, hearing, and talking to the folks at Fire Fitness casually, I knew they’d be the right ones to help me stay on track.
Since I started training with the Fire team: I completed my marathon (beating my goal time!), reduced my body fat to single digits, and significantly improved my conditioning all the while. Barely a month removed from the marathon completion, with the help and counsel of the great trainers at Fire, I’ve been actively pursuing my goal of putting on more lean muscle in a short time frame. I completed my first goal with amazing results and am certain I will reach the new one in great time and even better results.
The Fire team’s client centric, demonstrative, and diligent methods significantly improved my fitness level (specifically in terms strength, agility, speed). If you’re looking for knowledgeable, meticulous, and most importantly, good natured people to get you looking, feeling, and eating the right way, Fire Fitness is definitely where you need to be.

For me it was time to make a change. A close friend had started working out with a trainer in downtown Bellevue, and I was curious. She said great things about her training sessions and the personal trainers. I was hesitant, but knew that I needed to make a step forward.
I am so glad I did. The dedicated, knowledgeable trainers at Fire Fitness and Conditioning are fantastic. Not only do they know, and utilize more exercises than I knew existed, all of it is done in a very comfortable gym and atmosphere. The trainers keep the classes professional, courteous and encouraging. They work at your pace and help you to improve. A short 4 months later and I am looking forward to every workout. I never thought I would be that guy, but with these trainers and this program it is hard not to be.

I’ve always wanted a personal trainer but never felt good enough about my body image to do it. Crazy right?! That’s what they are for… to help guide us to the body and lifestyle we want.
A friend started seeing Ryan and in 3 short months I was amazed with her results! She did it to help with stress but what she got was so much more. Less stress, down 2 dress sizes and she felt and looked great! That was enough for me… I wanted on the same train as her.
I stepped out of my comfort zone and my «personal trainer phobia» and joined. I am so thrilled with my decision! Amazing training sessions that are catered to your personal progress. One thing I especially love is the sessions are small groups. Anywhere from 2 – 6 people. It’s great to see and celebrate their successes as we work creating the lifestyle we want.
I would give Fire Fitness 10 stars if I could. Check them out, you won’t be disappointed.
