I’ll go ahead and break the ice by writing the first review. I have a rental property and the central AC broke. My property manager recommended Mike Smith(the owner of Knight Heating & Cooling). I also called one other repair person in the area to get a second quote. Mike’s quote was initially $ 300 higher than the other guy’s quote, but Mike agreed to knock off a couple hundred. Even though Mike’s quote was still $ 100 higher, I went with him because he was a word-of-mouth recommendation. When I gave him the OK to proceed, he completed the work *immediately*, which was nice. After the work was complete, he contacted me to request more money due to unforeseen circumstances. I wasn’t thrilled, to say the least, and I asked him to stick to our agreed-upon cost estimate… and he did! I can’t speak to the quality of work because I don’t live at the property. But if my tenants complain about the air conditioner breaking in a few months, I’ll be sure to update this review. What were the negatives? After work was complete and my check was deposited, it was IMPOSSIBLE to get hold of him to send me a payment invoice/receipt along with warranty information. I asked my property manager to see if she could get the paperwork and she was successful. All-in-all, it took me ~40 days to receive the paperwork. Yes, this made me angry, but I received the paperwork before deciding to knock-off some stars in this review. So would I recommend Mike Smith of Knight Heating & Cooling? Yes I would. He’s a bit expensive. So be certain you do your homework and get more than one quote before making a decision. But, Mike seemed to be a good guy and it was a pleasure doing business with him. Good luck!
