This place has a giant selection of Korean and Japanese food. I tried their rolls, tonkatsu and fried chicken for dinner. The ambiance is casual, they have several big screens playing and Korean music in the backdrop. The good: lots of things to try in their menu. Fresh fish in their sushi and flavors were on point! Their katsu and fried chicken were great, made really hot and crispy. Servers were friendly and attentive. The not so good: price could be a little lower but what do you expect it’s downtown Bellevue… lunch seems like a more reasonable option and a bit cheaper. Will be back for more!

My favorite sushi place was closing soon and I ran into this small little restaurant. They have a good menu with a wide variety of sushi and bentos. They also have two Thai dishes(pad Thai, and curry). The prices are ok and the portions match the price :) I ordered the curry chicken and the unagi rolls! The only thing I didn’t like about the rolls was that it fell apart and I couldn’t pick them up well. Other than that, the food was good and they also have this cool ramen/noodle contest!

10:30pm snack and you’re staying at the Marriott? Perfect, then call over to Kobe and get some pork dumplings. This is the only thing I ate while here and the girl over the phone said it depends on what I ordered if they could make it in time before 11pm closing. They only do credit card transactions more than $ 8.00, luckily we had cash. Easy enough and delicious hot dumplings.

A bit(okay a block) off the beaten path in Bellevue, this semi-hidden gem is consistently solid. Sushi — this isn’t Nobu(nor are you paying for it here, as the sushi is very reasonably priced), but the fish is consistently fresh and well prepared. I’ve had cut-rate sushi(think slimy, slightly fishy-smelly) at other places similar to this, but NEVER here. The rolls are well-sized(that’s what she said) so you don’t leave hungry either. Japanese/wok/Chinese food — I simply enjoy that they have such a vast selection. Many restaurants over extend their menu at the expense of their food quality, but I don’t find that here. I’ve had a few different selections(beef broccoli, pad thai, chicken donburi, salmon kama, etc) and there aren’t ever leftovers. Also, I am fat. Korean food — being a Korean, I have high standards for my people’s fare. And for my two standbys here, kimchi soondooboo and bibimbaap, my expectations are met and exceeded. Even the kimchi is really good. Not as good as my mom’s, but is any kimchi? I digress. ANYHOO I love that I can eat a little Thai, Chinese, Japanese and Korean all in one sitting. Did I mention I was fat? #eatingaroundtheworld Service here is very friendly. The restaurant isn’t huge and the servers are always humming around a smile and a willingness to help. In fact, last time I went they accidentally got our order wrong, let us keep the incorrect dish for free, and rushed out the correct one not long after. It’s shocking how many restaurants aren’t willing to do something like this. I will come back here and keep coming back! Added bonus: TVs are strewn throughout the restaurant so you can always catch the game here along with some soju and beeeeeeers.

The first time i came here was for sushi, which was delicious! Afterwards, since the lunch was so good, i thought that i would try some other dishes. I normally get their chicken Pad Thai and boy is it GOOD! Love coming here because: they have good prices, quality meals, a large selection from sushi to hot pots to noodles and more, the customer service is always very friendly and they are very quick to prepare and serve my orders, whether in-restaurant or to-go. Their place is very cozy and well decorated but personally what has me sold is the customer service and that whatever i order is always absolutely delicious! I highly recommend trying this place if you have not already. Great lunch spot!

I’ve been here more than a few times, and while I am usually unimpressed by «asian fusion» restaurants, this one is the exception. I have had several sushi rolls, the udon, several different hot plates, and tries their tsoondubu, all of which were good. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. If you live in the area, even better. They are open till 11! The one thing that is a bummer, is that they are closed Sunday’s. No biggie really, I understand people need a break from working. My personal favorites here are the spicy scallop roll, and the tempura udon. The miso soup and/or edamame that comes with every order is a nice touch too! :)

I didn’t have high hopes because Kobe is under/inside? a hotel. I also am not typically a fan of the kind of Asian restaurant that operates on the generic café type food choices. AKA: they have some of everything, sushi, Chinese food, Korean food, phở, ramen etc. BUT the food was all delicious and very reasonably priced! I got an EXCELLENT spicy seafood udon soup. I highly recommend it if you are not afraid of little eyes floating in your spicy spicy broth with yummy slimy udon noodles. If you’re slightly less adventurous there is something for everyone here. TONS of katsu options too although I thought the Katsu was a little too dry.

I have been coming here a lot since Bellevue closes super early unless you are an alcoholic.(Sushi until 10!) All of the rolls are exemplary and the bento boxes are more than adorable and O’ so filling. I have yet the courage to tackle the giant bowl of ramen for the Kobe gift card. Bottom line– great sushi at a great price at a late hour.

The service at this place is deplorable!!! Stay away!!! There are so many better dining options… One member of our party received there order… It too 30+minutes to get the rest!!! They wasted my time unapologetically!!! If this was the only restaurant in Bellevue I still wouldn’t go!!!

I ordered some take out Sushi through the Unilocal app and overall the experience was very positive. There was an issue with one of the items I ordered, so I received a phone call and it was taken care of. The restaurant was within 50 feet of where I was living at the time, so it was nice to be able to do take out. The food was pretty good with no complaints.

This place is fairly good for sushi, however, I don’t really eat sushi hahaha. So those of you who don’t eat sushi like me, try their Katsu!

This is a Tonkatsu place run by Koreans. Yes they have ramen, sushi and thai and all sorts of other Asian foods. Stick to the Korean food and the Katsu and I guarantee you’ll be satisfied. The Katsu is quality, nice portion size and crispy. I’ve had the Katsu curry and the curry was not Japanese style, so I wont be getting that again. Plain Katsu with salad and rice are a steal for $ 8.99. I’ve also had a few Korean dishes(Duk Bo Ki, Bibim Bap) which are pretty good. I like the service, especially coming from a Asian restaurant. They actually refill my water. I find if funny that people would order Thai food at a Japanese named restaurants run by Koreans. That’s just a recipe for disaster. Just stick to their specialties, which they do well.

Two things: I am not Japanese, and I like my food spicy. Like extremely. We got a takeaway, which was good because WOW their quantities could feed a horse(and the horse’s friends and family) and sort of bad because if you guys have a prime card, it’s not valid for takeaways. We got the curry katsu, calamari and the chicken yakisoba. Calamari was great, could have been a bit more melt-in-the-mouth but lovely on the flavour. Yakisoba was awesome, and a wee bit oily for my taste, but I’ starting to see that oily and noodles just seem to go hand in hand so maybe that’s just me. Also, their spice rating is decent — nice and chilli — but that only applied to the yakisoba noodles we got, and not to the katsu. This was unfortunate because I was the one who ordered the curry katsu and that was… bland. Overall, though nice place. The cost balances out the quanities nicely, we ended up having a shared lunch, a shared dinner and a solo lunch — all out of that one order. TOTALLy coming back here to try out other stuff!

Point deduction as follows: –1: «baked» does not necessarily mean it is. Possibly the top of fish is seared but that’s it. Ordered the Fuji that comes with baked salmon on top. We received a lightly seared salmon doused in sauce to cover up the fact that the baked fish was not baked at all. –1: quality is decent, but not worth the price. Miso was broth will very little tiny pieces of tofu. Sushi overly sauced. –1: overall customer service and rating. For an out of towner, first impression was decent, but the quality was minimal. As far as ordering, we ordered over the phone: to-go late at night. Pretty quick turn around rate, about 10 – 15 minutes. Very friendly staff. Would possibly go back, however very hesitant about what is printed on the menu and what you actually get.

Came here around 5:30 on a Thursday with just one other friend and there were only 2 other people inside. I felt like I just stepped foot into Asia. There were umbrellas hanging around and Korean(maybe Japanese?) music playing in the background and I thought I was in a treat for some authentic sushi. I got the bento box with the California and cucumber rolls and it also came with a chefs choice of 6 sushi. One came out looking like someone tried to slice the raw piece of fish but the blade was too dull that it didn’t make it and the chef gave up and just slapped it on the rice. I asked the server what it was and she told me it was seared and she encouraged me to try it. Maybe it was her choice of word? Because it was not seared at all!!! Also, the bento box came with miso soup. I’ve had many miso soup before and it always seems to come with at least tofu. Where was the tofu on this?! Did they run out for dinner time and just decided to give me broth?

Went to eat lunch around 1 on a weekday. There was a slight lunch crowd, but we were seated right away. We ordered two ice waters, curry katsu, and spicy seafood ramen. However the waitress seemed to have misheard our order and brought tea instead, which was no biggie. Each of our entrée also came with a small salad, the dressing tasted so good! The curry katsu also came with a miso soup, taste just like any normal miso. The broth for the ramen was really good, not too spicy at all. There was plenty of seafood and the ramen was actually legit ramen. Not some cheap quality ones. That curry katsu was pretty good, I wish there was the option of making the curry spicy. The katsu was nice and crispy, you can cut the meat with just your spoon. I didn’t really like the sauce, so I just dipped the katsu in my curry. Prices is average for the area, overall the dining experience was pretty good, but not a wow place for me. Parking was kind of hard to find, but there is street parking(2 hour limit). All fails you can park by the library(although technically you are not suppose to… shh! Don’t tell!).

Decided to go here on a whim. & also because they take the Passport card. Location is good & parking right in the hotel garage so that’s a big plus. Small & clean restaurant. The older gentleman(very nice) greeted & sat me while I waited for my friend. It was quiet when I walked in but dinner did pick up a bit. Their menu is pretty expansive! Main focus was Japanese & Korean. We got the dduck boki(spicy rice cake) as our appetizer & it came out super fast. Literally 5 minutes. Came out piping hot with 3 gyozas on the side — nice bonus! For our meals we chose dinner bentos. Not cheap but not particularly pricey. Their dinner bentos were $ 16 – 18 if I recall correctly. Definitely fills you up! Their salad with their house dressing was soo good! Overall, good solid dinner. I should mention that while the food was coming out really quickly(for us & the diners around us), it should be noted that you do have to actively ask for the servers attention. We were left with our empty appetizer plate for quite some time before we got the servers attention.

Open nice and late, big menu with lots of options for non sushi eaters. I had the ramen. I was super impressed with the giant portion when it came out, but on tasting it was not my style. There seemed to be more onions and bean sprouts in it than noodles. Service was very friendly and attentive.

I had happy hour here the other day with my girlfriend. There was free parking in the hotel and the ambiance was nice. The restaurant was pretty empty at 4pm so we were able to sit wherever we wanted. We ordered beer, sushi rolls, and tempura udon and enjoyed them all except for the Spicy Rainbow Roll. The spicy tuna’s texture was too soft. Like they blended frozen tuna, thawed it, and served it. As for the Red Crunch Roll and the Ullala Roll, both were pretty good. If in the area I might come back again but I don’t think I would go out of my way to frequent this place. That spicy tuna really threw me off.

Very good service but their food was just… okay. Katsu Don with curry tasted very healthy… it tasted like something I could make at home(although it would have been a lot of hassle). Maybe this is their style, but yeah it tasted too healthy… I was craving for some crispy, salty, oily katsu don covered in MSG-y Japanese curry… instead, what I got was crispy, lightly breaded, lean pork meat and watery(flavor-less) curry with lots of cut up carrots. We also ordered the ramyun and it was just not… good. Compared to other ramyun options we have now in Bellevue, this place needs to step it up. Their service was great. They were so nice to us and our kids(who were obnoxious as always). They take Amex!
