Delicious food, great prices, absolutely in love with the ambience. The customer service was great and the gluten free menu is great for my friend

I have never been a huge fan of PF Chang’s but my friend was craving their lettuce wraps so we went to dine for lunch. We had a toddler and an infant in tow and I always appreciate the fact that the restaurant will allow us to wheel our stroller to our table. Just one less thing to haul around! She got her vegetarian lettuce wraps and I tried the Buddhist Delight which ended up pretty salty. My friend’s toddler did enjoy some of it though and when I brought the rest home my own toddler enjoyed it as well and ate the rest. The waitstaff was great and accommodating and though I’m not a huge fan of Americanized Chinese food, the service was solid.

The food was cold, I asked for spicy food, extra spicy, but it wasn’t spicy at all! The best thing is the Chang’s for 2, four course meal.

I am not sure what happened to this place, I had some good experience in LAPF Changs Not a good sign when we walked in and the place smelled terrible. after we were seated and we noticed the floor was filthy, another bad sign. We order two dishes and one appetizer: dumpling — the skin is too thick and the filling is tasteless garlic noodle — there was barely no garlic taste from this dish… and the sauce tasted sour, noodle is gooey ginger chicken with brown rice — the chicken tasted weird, and it did not come with brown rice… we got so grossed out by their food and the smell of this place, we just wanted to get out the place as quick as possible. Wow, this is by far one of the worst restaurants I have visited in many years…

I have been going to PFCHANGS since I was a kid with my family. I don’t know if the chain has changed or if i just grew up and learned what good food is. The food just isn’t the same anymore. The Bellevue location is spacious and the décor is very inviting. Dim lighting and candles on every table, it is the perfect spot for date night or catching up with friends. This last time I went, I called and made a reservation at around 7:30 when I was told the wait was 30 – 35 min long. I walked over from the mall and waited till around 8:05(right on time!). The waiting area and the lobby were both full of people waiting to be seated. I would highly recommend making a reservation for weekend meals! Once seated, I only have about an hour before I had to be somewhere. My boyfriend and I were clearly in a rush and ordered the chicken Phad Thai($ 13) and Beef and broccoli($ 15) as soon as we were seated. The sever said it would be out asap. We ended up patiently waiting for around 35 min. I was so surprised by the portion size of the beef and broccoli — it is TINY! I’m talking child portion small. It was a little greasy and very salty. Luckily it comes with a small cup of rice. My boyfriend literally ate the entire plate in less than 5 min. For $ 15, I could have gotten 3x that amount at Panda Express and it probably would have tasted the same if not better. My chicken Phad Thai was a much more generous portion. But again it was a little greasy and unlike the beef dish, it was quite bland. I got hot sauce on the side to give it more flavor. Again, we were in a rush. So as soon as our food came out, we asked for the check so we could pay and leave right away. Once we gave our card, we had to wait another 10 min because the waiter was chatting with another table with our swiped check in hand. Annoying. All in all, I don’t think this is a bad place to eat. I think some of the dishes are great(chicken lettuce wrap, wonton soup, banana roll dessert). But we just ordered poorly and got a slow waiter on a busy night. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the staff is nice. But if you’re looking for a quick meal or comforting Chinese takeout, I’d save the money and time and go to Panda right inside the mall.

I will just say that it wasn’t the restaurant but it was our server. No greeting, still don’t know his name, we had to continue asking for things, he never engage in conversation. I didn’t feel like family style dinning. I still think California has the best Changs :)

Due to a popular belief that P.F. Chang’s is supposed to be a Chinese restaraunt, it is very Americanized so the dishes that you might love at the authentic Chinese places are a lot more bland and not as exciting. We came in for dinner on Saturday evening and even though it was a busy night, there was spot at the bar. But unfortunately, the table was shakey so we had to keep it steady. For a downtown Bellevue on the main street, that’s a huge disappointment. Since we weren’t in the mood for anything particular, we ended up getting the Four-course Prix-fixe Menu which is $ 39.95 and comes with a starters, soup, main entrée and dessert. For a starter, of course we had to get the Chicken Lettuce Wraps. No problem there, they were as good as ever although the amount of salt on the chicken was a little too much. Actually scratch that, it actually looked like mystery meat and not chicken. My soup choice was Hot and Sour soup which wasn’t as good as even at Panda Express. Too salty, too chunky, see the picture. Main course — pad thai with chicken. Well it turned out to be more like watery noodles with some sort of mystery meat again. So not appetizing, I couldn’t even eat half of it. The only thing that saved this dinner was the dessert which was delicious but way too little. If not the food, the way staff behaved way very disappointing. When we ordered the four-meal course, we were simply dismissed. Like we were just free-loaders trying to get as much food as possible without paying too much. Had to wait at lest 10 minutes in between of every meal and 20 more minutes to even get our check. So Unilocalers — me thinks not: D

Came in lunch with my friend around 1:30pm. Look empty and sit window side. It’s a nice modern interior. I came here few times in the past. I didn’t enjoy food. But tried today again. We ordered spicy chicken soup & spicy chicken with brown rice. Asked extra spicy soup but it was not so spicy. Both food are so so ~~~ Boring tastes… sorry my words but true. They served one cup of water… they didn’t give us any extra water.

So disappointed. I was so looking forward to this meal and I walked away sad about how bad this food actually is. We ordered the cashew almond chicken, and a bowl of combo fried rice. We only found 2 or 3 cashews on a plate that was otherwise bland. Flavors fit for a geriatric palette. The only redeeming quality was a fire alarm that went off towards the end of our meal. The restaurant was evacuated.

Went back because I got a gift card. Won’t be back. Eggplant was ok Mongolian beef was fatty. Lacks the taste it had years ago. It was cold. I asked to reheat and they brought it back cold again. Singapore street noodles are too tart and cold

The hostess sucked, she was a bitch. Purple shirt, brown hair. Her name was like Fiona? She ignored my little sister talking to her and then proceeded to give us rude looks and walked away quickly.

The dishes were dirty. Too salty most of the dishes. The beef brocolli too salty and the beef is too hard. Soup was not hot. The meat in the soup is hard. The soup base was not good.

Something went terribly wrong for us. We were Christmas gift shopping at the mall this weekend, and decided to stop here for dinner. We both haven’t had anything to eat for hours and were pretty hungry. My boyfriend ordered some noodles and chicken dish, while I decided to go with Ginger Chicken, which I have had before and was familiar with taste and as much as it is Americanized version of Chinese food I never had problems with it before. This time however was different. The first thing that stood out was that I didn’t taste ginger in my Ginger Chicken, but we both were tired and I didn’t want to fuss. We just wanted to eat our meal and go home. I remember that in fact, despite how hungry we were, we ate some and couldn’t even finish. The waiter transferred the leftovers to a carry-out containers for us, which we both thought to smell unpleasant on our way home. My boyfriend even joked along the lines of ‘yikes, did we really eat that’. Within hours both my boyfriend and I did not feel well after our meal. We both got nauseous, had indigestion and horrific headaches. We basically spent the next day in bed recovering from what felt like food poisoning. Not only that but the smell of our leftovers every time we opened our fridge were repulsive to us, that we disposed of them. We have no idea what happened at PF Chang’s that evening but the aftermath was scary.

P.F. Chang’s is a decent place to go to if you aren’t looking for ‘Chinese’ food, or anything resembling Chinese food. They have a couple of Korean influenced names on the menu too, so, I wonder why they don’t project themselves as an Asian restaurant, instead of Chinese. I find it a little too Americanized to be called Chinese. I wouldn’t call the food horrible, but the meal was quite disappointing. We got some appetizers(veg rolls and dynamite shrimp). The veg rolls were very average. The dynamite shrimp was just batter fried shrimp coated with an aioli(seemed like your run of the mill aioli mixed with Sriracha). Very very average. We ordered the Shaking Beef(salty and served on some soggy greens), a Sichuanese style chicken dish(batter fried dry chicken breasts tossed with some spring onions and dried red chilies; I couldn’t find the Sichuanese part in the dish) and a Korean steak bulgogi(not Chinese; had a sauce on it that a traditional bulgogi doesn’t; and was saltier than oceans). All in all, it was a very below par meal. And I don’t think I’ll be going back, unless I’m super famished or there’s no food left on the planet and P. F. Chang’s is still open.

Returned for happy hour. Got to admit, once you’ve fought for that coveted parking spot, you want to milk the experience. So out of convenience I am back. Service good. Crispy green beans: OK. Could be slightly crispier. They are obviously busy but could they at least separate a few of them before frying? We had to pull clumps of beans apart. Chicken lettuce wraps. Tasteless without the dipping sauce but too salty with! Small pieces of lettuce. C’mon. I could fit 2 pieces side by side in my hand and still close my hand without crushing them. So more like chicken with lettuce garnish. Person next to me asked if they had a new chef because her food was not up to par. To which the server said«We ALWAYS have a new chef». Enough said.

Had an early lunch before heading back to Vancouver WA Monday 11/16/2015. I had Pork Street Tacos with Jicama shells(which I’d never had before). Couldn’t even pick one up to eat it, it just fell apart. I complained to our waiter, he took them back to put the pork back in new shells. Only brought 2 tacos back, not the three I should’ve gotten. Still couldn’t get it out of the holder without it completely falling apart. Also the menu did NOT say the peppers were very HOT. I cannot do hot or spicey food. Very, very disappointed. They should’ve offered to get me something else, but didn’t. Absolutely will not go back. My husband had fried rice with shrimp, chicken and pork? he loved it. I did love the coffee which had been just freshly brewed. That’s the 2 Stars. But still wont go back.

I was having a craving for some Chinese food when I got off work today, so I was like hmm I could certainly go for some Changs. Good choice. Was quickly greeted by the host and taken to the end of the bar where you go for to-go orders. The server was instantly to the counter ready to take my order. I ordered my favorites, Spring Rolls and the Crispy Green Beans. He offered me a beverage as I waited, but I kindly declined. He was very friendly and personable. Food took about ten minutes to come out, not bad. The restaurant was actually kinda busy too. Everything came out perfectly, hot and fresh. Large portion of green beans! Yay! Also gave me a little extra sauce and a extra fortune cookie! Double yay!

The food here is not good… Mapo tofu? More like sweet and sour tofu sauce out if a jar with some boiled broccoli on the side(no flavor at all). If you’re looking for american chinese then this place gets 3 stars. Not sure what I was expecting really. Just wanted to know what the hype was about, I guess. Should have known better since I was 1 out of the only 2 asians in the entire restaurant(the other one was with me too!). Price is really high considering it’s food court quality. I’ll be going back once more with my husband so he can see how not good it is either(i wouldn’t say horrible, but I did stop eating the minute i felt I wasn’t anymore). No, thank you!

Every time I think of having appetizers this is one of the first place I want to go. Let’s talk about the overall key points: Seats: 1– They rearranged the seats all around the floor and now there are more booth available, which I love. One of my favorite places to seat is a half booth right in the window. Food: 1 — Appetizers are my favorite type of food here/The chicken lettuce wrappers are the best. Now, it comes with a lot more lettuce, but a little less chicken :(. Still wonderful though. Fried crab wontons are also fantastic!!! 2 — Portions are big! If you are like me that eat small portions, you can definitely share your food with some one else. Down side: 1 — Unless you ask, they do not offer the fun mixed yourself 3 types of spices. 2 — The last time we were there, we were seated down pretty fast since we made reservations, however it took forever for the waiter to stop by to get our beverage!!! It was kind of annoying… I definitely recommend this place and will return soon for my fried wonton and chicken lettuce wrap: D
