I try to avoid this place at all cost unless I’m dragged here! I recommend going to Kum Kang San in Federal Way(probably the best AYCE Korean BBQ in Washington) I’ve came to Palace several of times and their horrible customer service never fails to amaze me! They’re not attentive, you have to hunt down the servers, and they take FOREVERRRRR to bring out your food or sides. They’re pretty stingy with their portions too. Meats are okay, some sides are good, nothing really stands out here for me. I will never forget the time that I left the tip on the table and upon leaving, the girl at the front asks my friend and I «Where’s the tip?» Uhhhhh, excuse me? First off, you’re NOT a waiter or a waitress, you definitely did not even seat me at my table, or were part of my dinner experience at all. ANDSECONDOFALL, a tip isn’t mandatory. I was so offended by the horrible service, the food not being that great, and then this to top it all off. I told her I left it on the table, but since she was being rude I marched back to where I had dinner and took the tip off the table.

The meat quality is okay, but the service here is awesome. I came by for lunch on a Friday afternoon and the waiter was very attentive. Even though it was pretty busy he never became phazed and showed alot of professionalism. The brisket and the pork short ribs tasted great. Also there was a variety of extremely colorful banchan which was a plus. Would come back here again.

The service has improved since I’ve been back to this place a few times. With a bigger party, however, it’s still difficult to get service(at least when you sit in the back room), so keep that in mind. For smaller parties(6 or less) though, we’ve had more attentive service. The food is good, though not as much selection as places south. It’s a decent option for the Bellevue area.

Excellent service and the waitress helped us cook our food! The wait was short, food was tasty, and we had frequent refills from the staff!

I’ve been to the one in Federal Way several times and it was my first time to this one. The service was good and food was decent. I love the marinated short ribs the best. The place is clean and unlike some other Korean BBQ places, this place didn’t have a strong smell of BBQ when I went in. I would go again when I crave Korean BBQ.

The food is very good. Potato Salad and fish cake are the best one I have ever eaten. Service is nice. our waitress was Ms. Jung-In. She is really nice and helpful. Would totally come back.

We got a Groupon for this place and it’s a little better than it was… but still, there’s no dipping sauces or lettuce wrap given(though you can add a basket of lettuce for $ 3.99) and you have to ask for all of them. We tried the tenderized beef and thin marinated beef this time and they were pretty good! Service was really lacking this time, we didn’t get checked up on once and had to flag people down at every opportunity for things like napkins. No refills or changing of the grill, so by the end of it we had burnt meat because of the cooking surface.

Reminiscent of Friday nights in college with my Korean roommates. Food was excellent, service was exemplary, and price can’t be beat. Nothing like radish/kimchi with pork belly, spicy pork, short ribs, and more after an strenuous workout. Also did I mention they’re open til 2am on Fridays?! I’ll be back.

Came here a few times for their regular menu and finally decided to try their BBQ for lunch. Food was good but we had to repeatedly ask for our shrimps which they finally came out with them when we are about stuffed. Very disappointed. We sat near their kitchen too and the waiter just kept standing around. This will be the last place I’ll go to when I want some Korean BBQ.

Service has picked up from years passed. Good job. I wish they would bring back Beef Tongue. Please do that.

I’ve been told about this place only a few times by one of my closest friends. I wouldn’t call it a hole in the wall, but it lowkey feels like one. Not too many people(from the Seattle area) know about this KBBQ spot. For me, this place is my own little oasis out in Bellevue or when I’m coming back from hiking along the the mountain trails of WA. At first glance you’ll see a pretty basic looking building. A decent sized lot — busy but not overwhelming(we came around dinner time). The interior is definitely nicer than most KBBQ spots i’ve been to… maybe because its Bellevue and everything looks more expensive haha. The service was quick and candid. We were immediately seated by the BBQ spot. It was spacious(probably fitting 6 comfortably max) with a large circular grill in the center. ***25 $(+ tax) all you can eat from the menu located on your table right away. Mind you, this was just me and my friend coming back from a 10 – 15 mile hike up in the mountains. 25 $ for an all you can eat with 10+ selection of any meat you wanted? That sounded like a deal. We definitely ordered at least everything on the menu once, and some twice. It was EXTREMELY filling. If you can stomach alot of food(post workout, or just because you’re hungry) this is the place for you. However, the only down side is that if you do not finish everything you ordered there will be a 5 $ charge for being wasteful. SMART! I like that. It really makes you think about if you’ll be able to finish everything or not. The service was good! Not great, but it was satisfactory and I dont have a problem! There was always someone walking around making sure everyone was okay. Whenever we ordered anything, the process was quick. We’d get our raw meats fast, our sides refilled quickly, and drinks replenished. It seemed like a family/friend business when I noticed how the staff were interacting with one another. They spoke English and always smiled — dont worry about language barriers. More importantly lets talk about the sides: 1.Spicy fish cakes(decent) 2. Kimchi(average) 3. steamed broccoli(ignore it) 4. korean style mac salad/mash(really interesting flavor!!) 5. bean sprouts(not as pickled if at all but still good) 6. pickled egg plant(I thought it was meat at first LOL) 7. ???(idk what it was but it was cut in a large circle. Some veggie i bet) 3⁄5 Go try it out! You wont be disappointed… except maybe the sides could be alot better. I still prefer the green onion pancakes, fish cakes, and pickled bean sprouts as my go to sides. I’m 6ft, in college, and workout a bunch. This fills me up and i DEFINITELY ate more than 25 $ worth. If you’re planning to bulk up this winter or need alot of protein for a really good price. Here’s the place.

This is my go-to spot for KBBQ. I’ve been here a number of times and the service is hit or miss, which is why I deducted one star. Sometimes they’re very attentive and other times you can’t even find anyone to order more food. When they’re being attentive, they’re really attentive. Sometimes they’ll even come up to your table and start cutting up your meat for you. I honestly don’t know if they’re trying to provide great service or trying to push us out the door faster. While most of the dishes are tasty, I’m particularly fond of the marinated chicken and the spicy tofu bean soup. The soup really isn’t the spicy though. I usually go here with family and friends who don’t like spicy food and they all agree it’s not too spicy and the flavor is good. Adult pricing is $ 23.99 the AYCE menu, and $ 9.99 for kids age 4 – 7. Make sure you double check your bill if you bring a child under 4. They billed us for my 2 year old but they took off the charge after I asked about it. The booths are pretty large. They can fit six people comfortably and there is plenty of room on the table for all of the food and side dishes.

Reasonable price and you can eat many kind of different meat. There are few side dishes but taste is not much impressive. Restroom was warm that I liked.

This place was pretty big and busy. Be prepared to walk out smelling like straight up K BBQ. Not my favorite fragrance in the world… The food was alright. $ 15.99 for all you can eat lunch and $ 23 for the all you can eat dinner. I was able to get a discount through Groupon. If there’s one thing you need to try on the menu it’s the Kalbi. Which is the marinated beef short ribs. My least favorite was the bulgogi, marinated beef.

The lunch and dinner selection are different, menu was cut in half during lunch. We went for lunch and they didh’t have cucumber kimchee, I like coming here just because their food is fresh, and it close to my house, but i was quite disappointed at how the menu shrunk

REAAAAAAALLLLLY lousy service but the quality of the food is pretty good. So I guess that averages out to 3 stars? 1) they did not bring enough utensils and water for our group. After asking multiple times to bring 2 extra waters and 2 more sets of utensils, waitress comes back with 2 sets of utensils. no water. 2) we are ordering and she looks super impatient and when she brings out our meat it all comes on 1 plate so all the marinades are mixed together. 3) ask multiple times for rice, soup, and bean paste. waitress walks away before we are finished asking her for everything. Finally got our waters near the end of our meal. Big PRO is that they let you split the check. Wouldn’t travel all the way to Bellevue for KBBQ again. Heard they might open in Lynnwood? Hopefully service is better at that location.

This Korean barbeque is pretty legit. And compared to some Ktown Kbbq places, this establishment is at par with the typical Korean BBQ in LA. I came in for a Friday night dinner and this place was pretty calm up until 8:30PM. I suspect that this place might be pretty packed during lunch as the price jumps from 15.99 to a 23.99 dinner. The meat was good. Not too fatty and their thinly sliced meats didn’t have that gross grittiness from being old/freezer burnt. The portions were great too. Sometimes, I try places and they start you off with a mountain of meat and, by the 3rd plate, you’re too full to try the assortment. It was a treat to receive thinnly sliced pork belly. Other than the ayce, Their banchan assortment was pretty good. Their pickled radish and kimchi were so tasty. I can make do with the customer service. Our waitress seemed like she was in a bad mood even though she took our requests. The restaurant also lets you split the bill which was pretty convenient. I definitely will visit Palace again, but, being a little pricier for dinner, I will definitely continue my search for the best kbbq in the Seattle area.

We came here with a large group celebrating the end of a conference weekend and were craving Korean BBQ. We made reservations for an area in the restaurant and had to push it to 9.30 to coordinate with everyone’s schedules. In total, we took up three booths and three tables. We were all seated immediately and drinks were ordered. We ordered meats quickly because it was so late and didn’t want to be cut off before we were ready. Sides arrived well before the meats and were almost completely eaten up before the meats were brought out. The cucumber kimchi is usually my favorite but they were made with large pieces of cucumber and I was not a fan of that preparation. The meats were all fine with nothing too outstanding. Our vegetable order was forgotten until the end of the meal and I had to remind the server about my drink order twice before receiving it halfway through the meal. The dinner menu was never offered to us, so we had no idea what was offered for dinner outside of the lunch options. We tipped the server well because he was the only one serving our large group and did the best job he could do. Food was fine. Service and price were alright.
