My wife and I purchased our first true oriental rug from the Palace Rug Gallery and we had a great experience. Layla (not sure about the spelling) who owns the store with her husband showed us a lot of rugs and it is clear that she knows what she is talking about. She took her time to discuss the pros and cons of each rug with regard to our particular room setting (e.g. colors, lights, furniture, size, etc.).

Wow! This guy sucks! I was just hoping to drop in and check out a few persian rugs to decorate my new home! The owner of the store would not show me any rugs and pretty much asked me to leave the store. I was judged on my appearance and was immediately dismissed as riff raff! I do not consider myself a window shopper and can back it up with my bank account! I felt like crap after leaving the store and would not wish this type of service on anyone!
I will see this guy in HELL or wherever he wishes to end up!!!
He does not even deserve a star!

What terrible customer service! Unless you know EXACTLY what rug you want don’t even bother with this place. The very last thing they apparently want to do is show you their rugs. I said I was interested in Gabbeh style rugs. You think they’d be delighted to show me some as I was expecting to spend between $ 3-​$ 4K.
Sure they have lots of rugs but you sure better know EXACTLY what you want or don’t bother.

Excellent experience. Listened. Performed. Great focus and sense of me as the customer. I left with three beautiful carpets that compliment my home — one was not the exact size; they took care of that as well. The designer who referred me suggested I might be intimidated and overwhelmed by the inventory (expecting me to return and depend on her help?) — not true. The owner and his staff provided excellent support and service. Highly recommend.

This is by far the best rug gallery I have been to in a long time. I’ve been around to several rug stores in the Seattle and Bellevue Areas and this one takes the cake! As an interior designer, I appriciate the fact that the owners know their inventory inside and out. They are extremely helpful and are willing to flip through piles of rugs to make sure you get just the right rug for your room. These guys are such a pleasure to deal with, that I will be making this my first stop for rugs for every project I do. The selection is unbeatable!

this review is based on the fact that the owner reached out to a co-​worker of mine, whom he refused to do business with if I didn’t retract my review. I spoke to the owner to settle the matter, and he insisted that I was not telling the truth, I asked if he was calling me a liar and he said yes. I would have rated this 2 stars, because he reached out to me and asked me to call him, but I was not expecting a fight. Kudos to him for standing his ground, but honestly, if he thinks that I would just write a bad review for the hell of it, he has a very negative outlook on the general public and deserves a 1 star just for that!

Palace rugs offers an incredible selection of rugs. I wandered in after being disappointed with 3 other stores inventory and was quite frankly sick of looking at boring (and extremely expensive) rugs. I was excited to see stylish and sophisticated rugs mixed in with the traditional Persian rugs we all know and love. The employees went above and beyond to move piles of rugs back and forth as they got to know my style. I knew we would be buying our rugs here when I met Leila, the on site interior designer. My husband, a businessman is usually a tough sell but he invited Leila over to pick out rugs for ever room in our house. She nailed our style (a mix of clean contemporary and cozy vintage). Along with 2 employees to move furniture and rugs, she brought rugs that would compliment our grey hardwood floors, suit our wall paper, and remain practical for our lifestyle. After spending 5x what we had anticipated, this family has no buyers remorse! The rugs tied our whole house together and we feel like we now have a home!

Palace rug gallery has an amazing array of rugs! I am an interior designer and I refer clients to them all the time and they always find something to suit there needs.
