Peaks Frozen Yogurt Bar

This was a great location, right in front of T-​Mobile Headquarters in Lohmans Plaza in Factoria. Plenty of parking.. Friendly staff. Sadly they closed right after Christmas. The other two area locations are still open though…

Really good yogurt flavors and interesting topping choices. The store is a nice small size and very tidy. Good costumer service over all!

Yummy flavors

They had plenty of choices (both for flavors and for toppings) and the inside was very clean. The guy working was also friendly and helpful. It was a great experience!

Still had some time left on my lunch break, so decided to check this place out, and we happened to walk in on the Monday happy hour. The happy hour special is to fill a 2 oz cup with whatever you want for just $ 2.00. Although there is a height limit to how much frozen yogurt you can put in the cup, but it’s still a pretty good deal. The happy hour size seems small, but perfect for someone like me who doesn’t eat too much frozen yogurt in one sitting, and was a satisfying amount. There wasn’t very interesting unique flavors like some of the other frozen yogurt places, but they still had tasty flavors, in which I got Strawberry and Mountain Blackberry. I like to put fruits on my yogurt, and I really liked the many varieties they had here. I would definitely come here on a Monday again for happy hour, because $ 2.00 for a healthy dessert will definitely make my stomach and my wallet happy.

Very yummy choices, both of yogurt and toppings. I love that they have rock candy, cereal, and chocolate covered gummy bears. Yum! It’s always been very clean as well, and the staff, while not very engaging when they’re not ringing you up (understandably), are always friendly and inviting. I’ve been there during busy and slow times, and no complaints other than… I wish their hot fudge was a slightly higher quality (but I’m a hot fudge fanatic, and therefore a hot fudge snob). Great place, I’ll definitely come back, time and time again!

Always a great time with my little family of 3. Of course fruit toppings can be heavy so I get my fruit fix elsewhere. Otherwise the salted caramel is sooo good. Wish they had taro though!

Wayyyy too expensive! Chose the smallest clear cup. Granted, I filled it, but not up to the top. I was charged just under 10 $! For one frozen yogurt. I was shocked and to embarrassed to say forget it. The yogurt and toppings were tasty but in no way worth this excessive price. Other than that, the place was clean, the employee cheerful and working hard. Moral– if you go, don’t be a glutton– fill your cup ¼ full.

There was a time when I used to complain that we didn’t have good fro-​yo in WA. Everytime I went down to LA, which was monthly, I’d stop by one of the joints down there that do self-​serve with numerous yogurt flavor options as well as topping selection, such as Yogurtland. We now have several similar options up here, with Peaks being one of the later arrivals. Still, they offer exactly what I want with the same formula of self-​serve with a good variety of toppings and rotating flavors. They seem to run the occasional Groupon/​LivingSocial/​AmazonLocal deal, so that def makes it worth stopping in.

Great froyo, but when I was weighing my froyo I got, there was some kid there, probably about 13 – 14 maybe was talking to the guy behind the counter and the guy behind the counter said «im sorry, but you cant come here anymore because you abused the system, so you cant come anymore!» From what I could tell, he was eating the free samples, not buying anything though, just taking advantage of them.

the best fro yo place I have tried so far. The cake batter flavor is my personal favorite. DROOL! The froyo here has a wonderful CREAMY consistency, not icey! (like yogurtland and menchies.) really appreciated the baklava topping too (thumbs up!)

The pumpkin flavor brings me back.

The staff is great, my kids love this place that everyday after school pick up they want to go there. It helps as they have good deals for users using the pirq app.
All flavors we’ve tried there are great, my best flavor is salted caramel.

Finally, a frozen yogurt bar in Factoria!
Now I can finally get some froyo near my house instead of fighting the traffic in downtown Bellevue to get some Red Mango or Yogurtland.
The place is very clean and organized. It is easy to get around the stations and find a table to eat at. On the plus side, there are tables set up outside for those who want to enjoy the Sun! Warning: frozen yogurt melts in about a minute when taking it outside in this weather…
I give it four stars because of the location. While it’s located in the busy Loehmann’s plaza, it’s not in a place where you can see from Factoria Blvd. Unless you are specifically eyeing that corner, most people would miss the shop. Also, I wish there were more fruit flavored yogurt varieties. I’m pretty sure that the flavors switch out often, but there were many candy-​flavored yogurts the last time I was there.

After visiting Peak’s Frozen Yogurt’s other location, I decided to try this one.
Both locations had very friendly and helpful staff, clean establishments, and the product is very tasty.
I really like their self-​service set up and the toppings bar is just awesome.
I would definitely recommend Peaks Frozen Yogurt and I will for sure be coming back more when the weather turns warmer.

Typical froyo plus some toppings you won’t commonly find at other chains!
PROs:
* The yogurt itself is pretty good. Typical foryo store standards with a small variety
* The have a nice variety of toppings! I definitely saw toppings at Peaks that other chains don’t have. And they have a nice amount of syrups… as well as a Reese’s Peanut Butter «topping» snaaaaaps!
* Cleeeean! Counter tops, candy organization… all of it. Well done!
* Customer service was very kind and helpful.
* I like the design and décor. Everything seemed very bright. It gives you that «happy» feeling haha
CONs:
* Seating looks rather limited. I don’t want to see what this place looks like once the high school gets out.
* It’s price per ounce is higher than yogurt land.
* A small sign all the wall said FREE WIFI! So I joined it, logged in with the pw provided on the wall… and well. my iphone got 1 bar. and would eventually just drop the connection all together. Not a huge CON. because I doubt WiFi would be utilized often here, but if you did want to use it… well… it’s a no-​go haha
OTHER COMMENTs:
* There are 5 TVs hanging around the room with a constant mix mash of grade school customers. I guess that’s cool if you were that age and saw yourself and your buddies up there. I’m indifferent on it.
RECOMMENDATIONs:
* I mentioned this in another review I did on froyo… but THINK about what you are putting TOGETHER. It’s easy to go toppings crazy and mix together an unappetizing concoction. Just because you like 5 different things individually, does NOT mean they will taste good together. Example: The Reese’s peanut butter topping… on mandarin oranges… Ugh… hahaha
FINAL THOUGHTS:
Someone else summed it up very well. It’s your typical froyo spot. Its major advantage to you as a customer will be its location. If this is your closest froyo spot, just go here. You won’t be missing out on anything huge that this place may lack. The slightly higher price per ounce isn’t high enough to warrant you to drive 4 miles to Yogurtland if Peaks is right in front of your face. I’ll be back, its soo convenient :)

I went to Peaks on Sunday night to check it out. We came with a Groupon. I liked that they had couple of tart flavors which were really yummy. They also had a cookies and cream flavor which was pretty good and my husband liked their other berry flavor. (mountain berry?) I don’t recall…
I liked that they had a variety of toppings including different syrup flavors which included mango, and I liked that they had graham cracker crumbs. The only thing I was sad about was that they had run out of mochi about 20 minutes before. He said that the mochi was going to come in either the next day or the day after. :(Sad.
However, the employee was really personable and nice and provided great service. He seemed really sincere when he asked us questions.
All-​in-​all I would go back again. Especially if they’re going to keep putting groupons out. :)

When I went, the store was clean with the exception of overflowing trash cans. I’ve worked at a froyo place before so I know that if people aren’t stacking their cups, trash fills up super quickly… but they were dead, so it seemed like it wouldn’t have been unreasonable to empty them out during the 10 or so minutes we were there.
As is standard with Peaks, there are some more adventurous toppings [potato chips, yay!] — on our visit the labels were messed up and my boyfriend and I did some «I thiiiink that’s (x candy),» «No, no, that’s (y candy),» double-​takes. Not really a terrible thing to have happen, but for how slow it was, it was another issue that would have been easily rectifiable.
The staff was mostly on the phone dealing with a work related issue so I didn’t have much opportunity for interaction, but the register transaction was just polite and somewhat exhausted sounding, rather than at Crossroads where everyone is over the top friendly.
Peaks is still my favorite local froyo chain, and I super love their rewards system [enter your phone number, it acts as a stamp card] but this location needs to bring some of the energy and personality that makes its Crossroads location so welcoming down to Factoria.

We had a groupon, so we headed out to Peaks Frozen Yogurt for a treat. The location is very clean and has a reasonable amount of seating. The lady at the register (owner?) was very friendly.
I love how the toppings are displayed. They aren’t all crammed together, which helps alleviate some of the congestion getting to the register.
The flavors are marked with allergens. They have a purchase program. The cost was less than at Menchie’s. But the flavors at Yogurtland are better.
If you are looking for frozen yogurt in Factoria, this is not a bad stop.

Went today to go check out the new grand opening of Peaks Frozen Yogurt Bar and unfortunately that never happened! First it was our mistake and they weren’t opened till 11:30am. okay we turned around and left to come back for another 15 more mins. When we walked back, we saw the «OPEN» sign turned on so we went over to open the door. Locked. The girl that was inside was texting on her phone earlier (first time we try to go) and this time she was talking on the phone and just turned around and gave us a dirty look and turned back around. UHHHH…
Bad customer experience already! That’s unfortunate since we really wanted to try their frozen yogurt. I’m already missing the TCBY that was in that previous spot. :(
