So my friend thought that they were having a ladies’ night. Evidently, she was mistaken. We were pretty much the only ladies in there, with half a dozen fellas. Kinda sparse, but it was a Wednesday and they’re still a bit new. We sat down on the couches, and the bartender came over and took our drink orders. Evidently they have a super-long happy hour(yay!), so we were in luck. Unfortunately, our luck changed as the bartender informed us that about half the items on the happy hour menu were out. Sniff sniffle sniff… Ok, we eventually ordered fish tacos and pulled pork sliders(tacos for her, sliders for me). She loved the tacos, and my sliders were amazing. So…mediocre place, not many food options, but good service and yummy sliders. I’d try it again.

Attended a birthday party here on a Sat. night. Decent DJ(top 40/hip hop Fridays). Has only one dance floor, which can get pretty packed. VIP tables overlook dance floor on a slightly raised platform next to the DJ booth. Clean, modern club — one of the few actual danceclubs in Seattle/Bellevue.

If you have to go out in Bellevue(which is unfortunate and I live here so I know)… Sky Ultra Lounge is the place to go. I had more fun here than Munchbar, Parlor and Lucky Strike combined. The vibe is a little more relaxed. It’s a serious attempt at a lounge meets dance club, and the employees weren’t harassing. The drinks are way overpriced of course but it’s Bellevue and you’re at a wanna be dance club/lounge. What do you expect? Overall pleasant time last Saturday. If you get there before 11 it’s free if you’re on the guest list and it isn’t hard to get on the list by visiting their website. Once again: For the area, this is the best option. Is Bellevue a fun place to go out? No! It’s all about the company you bring and your attitude. :)

Out of the way for such a mediocre experience. Really, it was pretty lackluster. The bar area is separated by a huge pillar which leaves some patrons hidden and waiting for service if the tender is inattentive,(or as was the case during my visit, is flirting with certain customers rather than doing her job :-(). The food was alright, but nothing spectacular. Their crab wantons weren’t prepared correctly. The chef needs to take more care in pressing the air out of the wrapper when closing it. Not doing so results in a wanton that inflates like a balloon when fried. Menu item prices also don’t accurately reflect what you’re charged. I visited during happy hour and only three(horrible) beers were on the happy hour menu(bud, bud light, and I think miller?). So I ordered a non-happy hour beer.(A local micro-brew they had on tap.) It was nice to see my beer be a dollar cheaper than what the menu said, but when I saw the price for the crab wantons(which were a happy-hour food item), they were two dollars more than what they were listed for on the HH menu. :-( Overall, the wantons were good(if over-inflated), and the beer was fine. But it’s not really worth the trip. :-/

This place is okay. Drinks are not very strong and the dance floor is a little small. And since the dancing area is on the smaller side, there are a lot of people just standing around the perimeter, watching the people that DO decide to dance. At least it’s relatively easy to get on a list and get in for free and parking downstairs is free also. That being said, as long as you have good friends with you, you can make it a fun time.

Microsoft Prime 2012 – 2013 Ultra Bellevue back up plan Ambiance: 4 Food: 3 Value: 3 Bellevue can be packed during the busy weekends, with huge waits at the likes of Cheesecake factory. And it’s not like they’re inexpensive. Your best bet is probably Sky Ultra Lounge, which is really open and not busy almost all the time. Plus, they offer happy hour from 3−11pm(basically, anytime you want to go) The down sides are that the happy hour drink menu is pretty limited. The beer is bud light, a couple of okay wines, and wells for only decent prices. Everything else is more expensive. The food is decent. I’ve only gotten to use the prime deal once because the happy hour deal covers most of the menu. The Microsoft prime deal is buy one get one I’ve been waiting to try the ribs(the most expensive item on the menu at $ 16)
I actually like the setting, it’s pretty upscale and there’s TVs everywhere. It’s pretty good for watching the game when everywhere else is packed. The thing you gotta look out for is that after 11, the place turns in to a ‘club’. The back has got sofas and interesting night lighting. People rarely go there, so…

I came here last night for a friend’s birthday, and had a good time, despite the initial first reaction when walking in…“omgosh, its so small!”. Lounge is located on 3rd floor. + Free parking in underground garage + Free admission before 11pm(sign up for guest list if needed, online) + VIP treatment well — bouncer escorted birthday girl and guests into booth + Kiss 106.1DJ for the night(some house, mostly current hits) + Different lighting(blue lights atmosphere) + Coat check($ 3) — One long hallway, which goes: starting from left is restrooms, small bar, dance floor, bar, restaurant area/lounge –Restrooms…girl’s stalls were oddly small, constricted, first it was 2⁄4 working, then became ¾ while flushing was major issue, and flooding — Overpriced drinks — Very, very uptight security/constantly walking though dance floor and shining flashlights Lights came on at 1:30am. Not much else, but my guess is depending on the night and crowd will determine how your night goes.

Went here for NYE. Pros: free admission before 10p free parking in garage good music on the dance floor Cons: drinks had very little alcohol drinks were expensive(for example, two well drinks and a beer cost $ 19; small bottle of Fiji water cost $ 5) the lights on the dance floor were almost seizure-enducing

I came here for happy hour the other day. They have good hours and good $ 6 plates and $ 5 drinks. I had two glasses of merlot. The service was pretty good. When they saw how many people were lining up for drinks, another waitress quickly came and started ringing people up. The space is nice enough but the crowd was obviously not that exciting for happy hour. I’d be open to coming back on a weekend evening though.

Ehhh, this place is overpriced. The dance floor isn’t that big, it’s one level, and the«21» section(when it’s 18+) is small too. The bouncers are jerks, and the music isn’t bad, depending on what day. Lots of Asians… but overall, it’s a nice place, most definitely. My AMF was disgusting. the bartender used Stoli’s or something and it sucked. I can find drinks elsewhere.

Trendy lounge/dance club, if that’s your style you’ll love it! This review happens to be for a Friday night. This spot has a similar vibe to Munch bar. You’ll hear mostly radio/top 40 songs and the crowd is mixed between trendy younger crowd, awkward older people, and people getting waaaaay to drunk for their own good. Cover is around $ 10 and guest list ends at 11pm so get on that to avoid cover. There’s 2 main bars and a mini one near the bathrooms along with a nice outdoor area to chill and talk. If you’re tryna dance, which I’m assuming you area if you are thinking about coming to Ultra, there’s a decent enough dance floor surrounded by bottle service booths. Overall a pretty good time if you’re into hip-hop. Will be back.

The Happy Hour selection is passable, but the shrimp was particularly great. When we went it was very quiet with very little activity. I came back for lunch. Their lunch menu is incredibly uncreative: it basically boils down to 3 ways to serve prime rib meat. The waitress didn’t get my order right, but it was still prime rib so I ate it. We were surprised that the order wasn’t more wrong because when she repeated it back she was all wrong.

I love going out and having a GREAT time! Growing up on the eastside, I appreciate how the nightlife in Bellevue has grown, esp. with the 520 toll coming this summer. Similar to the munchbar, Sky is a fun, bright, «in,» and trendy night club. The music is mostly top 40/dance/house, the dance floor is a bit small. I kept on bumping into random people. It is a young, mixed crowd, all looking for a fun evening out.(Some random older gentleman there, too.) Only if it is your«thing,» should you come here. Ladies, be sure to wear heals and a cute cocktail dress! My drink: vodka-soda, only $ 5(small glass)! Thank you!

What? 1. my reaction at 730 pm: Clubbing in Bellevue, where the pretentious 20 – 30 something yuppies of the corporate world gather to lavishly spend their $$??? Please. Spare me. I’d rather go down to Brouwer’s Café in fremont for a few well-selected beers or Shortys for a dog and drink. 2. my reaction at 1130pm: I’m …still here? Damn. === Something about this place made it be difficult to be bored here. Maybe it was the TVs they had stationed every 5 feet on the walls. Once the music started, it was pretty much like watching MTV. Of course, we actually arrived at the lounge before they started charging cover(830pm-ish), when people were more interested in food and dinner than partying and alcohol. Service was decent, the staff are unusually pleasant and accommodating(It’s been a while since I felt so welcomed at a lounge), and drinks are bearably stiff and drinkable throughout the night. Try to get the short asian guy to make your drink if he’s tending the bar! His drinks were on a totally different level than the two other bartenders I had that night. There was even an old man trying to get with some women in their 20s and the occasional 40 something year old man pensively sipping a drink at the bar, despite the congregations of hysterical giggly, gyrating women and posturing men. Oh. And the music is somewhat Kiss 106.1 Friday night-ish, but ultimately fairly danceable.

Sky ultra lounge is a decent place that plays THEWORST music. Go to Sky Ultra Lounge if you like to hear spontaneous, off-beat bongo drum playing that actually manages to make the already awful music even worse. Also, we were in the VIP section which requires a deposit to just hold the section, yet the service was horrendous and we averaged about one server per hour taking our orders. I will say that the restaurant part of it before it turns into a club has good service. I would give this place 0 stars if I could.

I was unimpressed with this place due to horrible service and disregard of my buisness… Drinks were only okey as well as the food, nothing to talk about… also happy hour rules are not clear. I planned an event there with a group of my friends to enjoy the night, watch some UFC, and have some drinks. The place is very class, and clean… I will never go back though… A young lady served us drinks, food, and then forgot about us… no joke! When new people arrived she never came back and when we were attempting to leave they took over 40mins to give us our bill… it took everyone in the group to complain and pressure the waiters we were going to leave without paying if someone didn’t help us. It took over 4 people to deal with this problem before everything was good to go…(Someone should train their employees or something.) This place ruined my night due to all the problems with the server. Too bad… You will never see me there again… someone commented about Jersey Shore style and I must say… it does seem like it a little… lol Overall, I was unimpressed with this place due to horrible service and disregard.

Went here with a group to see if this might be our new home to watch the UFC fights. Guess what? NOPE! I wouldn’t watch the UFC Fights in this place again. It’s sad really, because their happy hour food was pretty good at a decent price. But, they blow it in the customer service department. Throughout the fights we had to constantly keep asking for our orders(Drink and Food orders were repeatedly forgotten). They don’t seem to have anyone on the same page about reservations. We called 3 weeks ahead of time to reserve tables for our group for the fights. Done! At least we thought it was. Then on the day, they’re like… we don’t have any reservations … we don’t even know if we’re going to show the fights. We asked when they’ll know and they said… we’ll know when the fights start. Great … luckily they showed the fights. Their happy hour drinks, seemed to follow some mystical unknown rules about what was a happy hour drink prices and not(turns out when they bring you your bill… they add all kinds of other charges on top of the happy hour well drink charges listed … so, what’s the point???). Then, once the fights were over and we were trying to hang out and chat and wait for our bills(Some people wanted to hang out and drink and chat some more) But … they told us we needed to leave the area we were in becuase it was reserved(Apparently … now they respect some kind of reservations???). But, they still hadn’t given our parties all their bills. It took us 30 minutes(possibly even more) to try and get everyone’s bills completed(«So, we could leave the area they no longer wanted us in»). Bills were a mess and incorrect(now we find out about all the little happy hour drinks are not realloy happy hour drink prices … hmm, really?). First they tried to keep telling us that all the little additoins and subtractions of extra amounts on the check are just oddities and we really were charged happy hour prices. Then we have to do «simple math» and show them how it doesn’t «Add Up» to happy hour prices. Then they start to change their story and now start telling you that. oh, these particular drinks don’t count as happy hour prices, even though they just got done explaining to us that we DID get happy hour prices. What a mess! So, we finally got out of there and went to continue to eat, drink and chat at Tap House Grill. More money on food and drinks that sky ultra could have had, if they only had any kind of good customer service and made you feel like you were welcome to hang out after the fights.

I’m not sure how to review this place, since my friends and I were here for literally only 20 minutes, but I’ll be nice and give it 4 stars, and here’s why: one, we got in relatively early, so we didn’t have to pay cover; two, it’s clean and the VIP area is kind of swanky; three, my drink was good; four, they played my kind of music that night(techno/house/electronica-ish AKAFM89.5 music, my favorite Seattle radio station BTW). I’ve never heard of this place but a friend suggested this place on a whim, so we went, and I was surprised there was a lounge up on the 3rd floor(apparently there’s a club scene in Downtown Bellevue, who knew?). We all felt out of place because we had all come from dinner, and it was a Friday night, so we were dressed in work clothes(as in, frumpy coats, t-shirts, sweaters, jeans… ya know, non-slutty attire). BUT, we’d definitely come here again when we don’t feel like driving all the way to downtown Seattle, paying 12 bucks for parking(I almost typed 20 – that’s SF and LA for ya), and fighting off hobos and shady people.

If your looking for a place full of bros and DTF girls, where it is certainty possible the cast of Jersey shore might step in at any point… then this place is for you. But it certainly is not for me. Drinks were good, food was very yummy, and bartenders looked nice and were very friendly(some were a little slow, even early in the night when it was dead). But it was just too loud, maybe a little small, I saw wayyyy to much skin that I didn’t care to see, the coat check was $ 10 on top of the $ 10 cover that my friends weren’t suppose to pay because we were all«on the list» but weren’t actually on the list. I need to drink more if I do end up back there, but in general this place just isn’t really my scene.

Went to this place for a UFC after-fight party. I didn’t want to go – I’M 50YEARSOLD. However, my considerably younger companion wanted to go and he was driving. I gotta admit, I haven’t been to this kind of night club for at least 15 years. Maybe 20 years. Seemed like a nice little club. Lots of pretty girls in skimpy dresses. Did I mention that I’m 50 years old? No one in the place was more than half my age. I wanted to tell those girls to cover up and slap the lascivious little pervs who were leering at them. I have daughters that age, for gawd’s sake! The music was thumpin’ and, quite frankly, giving me a headache. I suppose that would likely be a plus for the young folks who patronize this place. Gives old men migraines? Check. Pretty, half-nekkid girls? Check. I finally had to get out of there. I told my friend that the last thing he needed was a semicentennial wingman and headed out the door. He reminded me that I would miss out on meeting Roy«Big Country» Nelson, one of my favorite MMA fighters. I didn’t care. I was tired, hungry and I needed a quiet place to sip on a beer. As I descended the escalator, guess who I saw waiting for the elevator up? Yup, Big Country, in the flesh. I walked up, introduced myself and shook his hand. Cool. I went downstairs and had a patty melt at the Rock Bottom Brewery. After I finished my beer, I went back up to collect my friend. I have to say, it seems like a decent club, and if I was a young man, I would have really enjoyed myself. The bar is separated from the dance floor, so it seems a bit more intimate, and the décor is cool and modern. The staff was very pleasant. My young buddy liked the music. He kept saying«Remember this tune? Remember this one?» I guess they were oldies to him. I had to tell him that I wouldn’t remember anything post-Kool and the Gang. Would I go back? HELLNO. Would I recommend to single, young dudes? Yup.
