This is hands down my favorite Starbucks location! It’s walking distance from my house(it’s actually not even the closest one), there is a convenient pole out from to tie up the dogs’ leashes and most importantly they make the best puppicinos! What are those, you ask? Treats for the pups in the form of a lid with whipped cream! Now the pups want to make a beeline everything we go for a walk because they love their puppicinos. It’s got a great local coffee shop feel with people hanging out reading, working and enjoying a coffee break with friends. There’s a lot of seating, plenty of pastry and packaged food options and lots of merchandise. Connected to Barnes and Noble as well, so you can easily grab some reading material to go with your beverage. There is a paid parking lot and Starbucks will validate your parking for an hour.

This Starbucks is attached to a Barnes & Noble, so I wasn’t surprised that it was busy. The lobby itself still had plenty of seating, the line was moving quickly, and the parking lot still had plenty of parking so none of that was an issue. I ordered a pumpkin spice chai and gave the barista the amount of pumps I wanted of each syrup, only to be challenged with, «Uh, chais don’t come with pumpkin spice» to which I replied, «I’m aware. Which is why I’d like you to add it.» After that she was just kind of like, «okay…» I’m going to assume that she’s new, because the pumpkin chai has been around for a while. Before quitting in June, I was a barista at Starbucks for almost three years so I think I know what I’m talking about LOL. As pretentious as that sounds… After we got our drinks, I came to realize she put the wrong amount of pumps of chai in our drinks when I told her like three times… This was my first time at this location and I don’t think I’ll be back because I don’t live in the area, but — don’t come here if your drink is the least bit complex.

This is conveniently located right next to Barnes and nobles. Make sure you get a gold card. I am turning all my friends into gold card members. Most of the time, they go to Starbucks more than I do and they are just lazy to get the card.

This place is great for hanging out. I’ve come here a few times to read articles in a newspaper or magazine, or to write. Either way, the atmosphere is cozy and the staff don’t bother you. The ambient noise — of people talking and the jazzy music on the speakers — is pleasant. It’s fun to eavesdrop on people — you find a dizzying variety of topics and thoughts. This location is adjacent to Barnes and Noble, so if you buy something this is a great place to start reading. The great thing about Starbucks is that the baristas don’t have an attitude. They won’t roll your eyes if you don’t know what a latte is, or if you ask for soy milk. They’re probably trained this way — to be friendly and, cough, professional. It’s one of the major reasons Starbucks has become as successful it has — you’re getting a pleasant experience pretty much every time you come. I was here for a few hours once and I noticed that one of the barista’s family members had come in. The other baristas knew him and chatted with him. It was a great family-like atmosphere. The baristas seem to like each other more than at many fast food type places. The bathrooms aren’t locked up, which is convenient. The drinks? Well, it’s Starbucks. For better or for worse, they’re consistent.

My drink was fine, but when I said ‘no whip’ for my mocha, I’d figure they’d at least fill the cup with milk — wrong. I got out to my car to find that it was down an inch!(see pic) C’mon starbucks, I’m paying enough as it is. If it hadn’t been pouring rain, I’d have gone back in. I paid for a grande, not a tall. Not a place I stop regularly, but I just loaded up on some new books and what goes better with some reading than a nice, hot mocha.

usually Starbucks is known for customer service and speed. This one was slow and baristas seemed rude and not worried about customers satisfaction.

Large, clean, comfortable and nice folks working the counter, but there’s no bathroom access. Makes it hard to get much done — drinking coffee and no where to go. Have to find another Starbucks. Too bad. Good location.

I normally rate coffee places and starbucks high, although on this particular rainy and cold Sunday afternoon I am obligated to my fellow Unilocalers to say… UNSATISFACTORY starbucks Batista! The line was about 20 deep… new guy on the register(which wasn’t the problem) the bariata makes my drink, makes it incorrectly, when I asked for foam(which I do ALLTHETIME) he snarls, rolls his eyes then proceeds to school da new register guy on writing it as a «espresso macchiato» instead of making my drink! And to top it all of he has major FRACKING attitude about it all. HULLO??? must I remind you, is Sunday, rainy, cold, and I just woke up without my coffee yet… U don’t want nun ‘o did mister! Bring the happy fun FEMALE baristas who can multi take with a great attitude back on Sundays!!!

Starbucks and books is a match made in heaven. Connected to the Barnes and Nobles, you can grab a cup of jo and find the perfect read. This location also has a private meeting room you can book. Plenty of seating as well.

Located right beside the bookstore near the California Pizza Kitchen. There are many seats inside and outside seats are available. They accept the gold card here: D Just used my reward for a delicious sandwich!

Went there for the frappuccino happy hour. Wasn’t too crowded, and service was quick. Got the caramel strip crunch frappuccino. Sweet and delicious. It’s a pretty small location with limited seating, but we got our stuff to go.

Part of my BEST series… This is my favorite Starbucks in the area! I really wouldn’t have guessed that my favorite one would be attached to a bookstore, but it is! The coffee here is consistently good. That’s the key: CONSISTENCY! I’ve been to other places where I can have an amazing coffee one day, but then the next visit it’s just kind of meh. Here, though, the coffee is always good! I’m not sure if they up their game due to all of the other Starbucks within a close radius, but whatever it is… BEST Starbucks I’ve found in the area! I always have a tall mocha, usually decaf even. A lot of the time when I get decaf at other places it loses WAY too much coffee flavor, but not here. It’s still really tasty. And, it seems the baristas put in a little effort to make sure the drinks stay nice and frothy too. Another plus, the drink is also hot enough… so many times I’ve gotten a hot drink somewhere and it seems tepid almost. Here, CONSISTENTLY good! And now I want a coffee… ;)

Located in Barnes n Noble, this is a company owned location(not operated by the bookstore). This means you get Starbucks beverages made the way they should be made! The location is located in the same lot as Mars Hill Church Bellevue and can become fairly busy on Sunday mornings. Even despite this morning and afternoon rushes, the store is well staff, very clean, has a great selection of sandwiches, pastries and other snack items. Baristas are friendly, quick and take the time to make small conversations with guests. There is also a small conference room available to reserve if you want! A great location overall.

I used to come here all the time! It was and may still be the only Starbucks in the area that is open until 11pm. Good location, connected to a bookstore, awesome awesome… I went there again recently. Service is still great, location obv… But I think they need to do a little revamp. Get some funding from Starbucks HQ and buy some new furniture. Most of the tables and chairs are reaaaally sticky and worn down. Staff is nice, etc.. Come on SBUXHQ! Let’s get some money in this one! People would love it!

Can’t believe I’ve never reviewed this Starbucks. This was my go-to Starbucks for many years on the weekends — since they are open til 11pm(or midnight). It’s in the Barnes and Noble in downtown Bellevue. I don’t like the fact that you have to get a parking ticket and get it validated. They are always BUSY and the lines are long but they get thru them pretty quickly. Have never had any incidents here — nothing spectacular but no major failures either!

This Starbucks has been one of my favorite on the Eastside. It’s an excellent spot to meet people, even out-of-towners can find it easily. Unfortunately, one of the regular counter staff ruins it with a surly attitude every time I’m in. She’s friendly until you ask her to brew a different drip than Pike Place roast. Most Starbucks will cheerfully do this because they know how many customers hate the stuff, but this staff member gets annoyed«it’s all we brew in the afternoons» and seems put out by the extra work. In every other respect this store is excellent — the location is ideal, space is great, and the rest of the staff seem pretty friendly. If you don’t drink drip, or don’t care what they pour you, you’ll be good to go.
