I scheduled an appointment for a style and was booked with Dean. First of all, I had the most amazing shampoo. He gave me the best scalp massage I have ever had. He took a lot of time smoothing my hair– especially focusing on the front. I left feeling so good, knowing my hair looked great. I have recommended 2 friends and they both loved their hair. He did a Baliage on one of my friends and it looks amazing. I will definitely be going back for color!

Lauren is fantastic amazing wonderful I do t have enough words to say how amazing she is. She is also a wonderful person. I am super picky when it comes to letting people do my hair and she is amazing!!! I will never go to anyone else.

Julie is super sweet and real (which can be difficult to find in Bellevue). She did a great Keratin treatment on my thick, dark, curly hair. She also gave me an awesome trim while I continue to grow my hair out. Thanks Julie!

Been going here since it was «The N Salon». Very calm and clean atmosphere, great products, super friendly staff and most importantly everyone is very good at what they do. Ive had facials by Ceci, massages by Nicole and have been getting my hair done by Julie for almost 4 years. I have absolutely nothing but great to say about all of them. Even though I sold my car and moved to downtown Seattle, I still take the bus back to this empty shell of a city full of rude, entitled individuals because there is simply nothing more I could ask for from a salon. Highly Recommend This Place!!!

I booked last minute to get bangs done, and ended up being booked in with a male stylist but didn’t find that out until I got there. I didn’t feel comfortable making a big change like that with this stylist, I wish the receptionist would have told me when she booked the appointment. He wasn’t a gay stylist, he was a straight, straightforward guy who looked like a football player. I would have felt uncomfortable explaining my appearance hang ups and what I wanted with him and feel like it would have been a risk because I would have not been able to explain what I wanted done, or be sure that he understood what I was looking for. No need for that kind of uncertainty I felt. Please receptionists, tell us on the phone that it’s a male stylist. At least at higher end salons where the expectations are high. Place was clean and comfortable, and there’s parking.

My stylist at The Cove Salon is Julie. She is a part-​owner & phenomenal artist with hair — style, color, weddings & new-​looks-​for-​you. I have used her for all these occasions and have never been disappointed. She is full service minded and genuinely takes care of her clients.

Be sure to go and see Corey at the Cove! She’s an extremely talented hair designer with years of experience in both men and women’s haircut. The atmosphere is very welcoming. Corey will listen to all of your hair styling needs and she pulls through. She takes the time to observe, cut, trim, and style.

I’m always greeted with a smile here and everyone is so friendly. Cute little salon. Great location! Small parking lot but I never have an issue with parking. I see Cecelia for my eyebrows. She does a fantastic job! She really knows her stuff. I can ask her anything about my face in general and she always has an answer. I tell all my friends to go here!

I have been going to the Cove for years now, and always had a pleasant experience until this last month. My hair dresser, Dean, is usually pretty great about listening to my needs and meeting them. This time around he did not let my hair develop quite long enough… So when I was going for a white «barbie» blonde I ended up with some yellow and orange colors from my foil.
I came back in to get this fixed, and came out of the salon with twice as much yellow and orange foils. I tried making a third appointment to finally get my hair to the results he has obtained for me previously, but was told I should probably find a new hair dresser that was actually capable of accomplishing what I wanted. I do not know what changed, and why he wasn’t able to do what he has done to my hair 15 times before, but I think I was more than fair giving him a shot to fix it and it’s really upsetting that he wasn’t able or willing to do so. He offered to give me my money back, and when I came to pick it up, it was less than 50% of what I had paid him.
I understand that his time is money, but I have to pay a new hair dresser to fix this which is probably going to be more expensive than just getting normal foils. I’ve had this orange hair for over a month now and could have done this to myself with a box of loreal. I wish it would have been handled differently, that he would have fixed it on the second try, or even on the third try that I was denied. This is bad business and I have recommended at least 10 people to this salon previously and will not be doing so any more.
I’m offering two stars since I have had such great experiences until now, but from my most recent experience I can’t help but rate my experience very poorly.

I’ve been getting my hair cut and colored at The Cove and love it. The salon is so classy and welcoming. My stylist, Corey, whom I’ve been going to for years, is so talented at making my cut and color look exactly how I envision it. She knows how to customized my hair to match my style. I would definitely recommend seeing Corey at The Cove for your next hair appointment.

I love this salon. I see Brianna for color and balmain style hair extensions. The prices are fair and everyone on the staff seems happy to be there. This is my secret gem. I will say, it takes a while for me to get my blonde hair colored and my extensions done– but this is the best hair color and service I have ever received. No bleach is used… and each highlight is placed so meticulously– I don’t see grow out for weeks and weeks. I have no breakage and Brianna has helped me grow out of my hair while using extensions to achieve the style I want.
I am never up-​sold, never surprised by the bill, and am always comfortable in the salon. The music is just loud enough, there are lots of good magazines to read, and the staff is professional– you never overhear and outlandish conversations or gossip– like I have at other salons in Bellevue/​Seattle.
in short, I am spending less money for more beautiful healthy hair and a great experience. I am usually able to park right out front!
My entire family now goes to this salon, even my dad– who previously was a regular at great clips.
I can’t say it enough, this place is the BEST OF THE BEST!

I started going to Dean about 5 years ago… he is a flat out godsend! He helped restore my hair to full health after another salon basically ruined it, and ever since, his styling, cuts and care have been over the top perfect!
The salon is friendly, inviting and the staff is always willing to go the extra mile.
I feel so lucky to have found Dean and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND both him and salon to anyone… men or women!
