Swine indeed. I enjoy going to estate sales and find that there should be a certain reverence for the dead – especially if are in their former living space, looking through their treasured items and seeing pieces of who they just once where on little pieces of paper, writings in the margins of books, gifts that they would have given to children or grandchildren. This company comprises a group of some of the worst in catty old women who are basically like vultures descending upon the dead to pick through their bones. I went to one of their estate sales in Blueridge yesterday(off of Greenbriar if you happen to be the unfortunate family who hired them) and the cashier called the departed older grandmother who had such gift items for her grandchildren a «hoarder» and then rolled her eyes in complete disgust. This was following my question of «was she once a school teacher or a volunteer with children?» Their prices are way too high and their staff – like others have said herein – do follow and eye down everyone as if they are going to somehow steal big porcelain soup tureens beneath their t-shirts. They all have the same annoying pitch and intonation in their voice like they were all in some low-level sorority 60 years ago and developed a speech pattern akin to broken glass cutting the insides of your ears when they speak. Their cattiness toward the dead, their evil reproachful eye, their overpriced haughty attitude are three very solid reasons to steer clear of their sales – and their appraisal«services» for you dead mother, spouse or child. To repeat how I began: swine indeed!

Went to one of their estate sales in Kirkland today. They were disrespectful and very judgmental. Felt they were following us around the house, didn’t feel comfortable.

This store has some gorgeous antiques but it seems way over-priced. If you’re willing to do a little research and hunt around you can find similar stuff elsewhere that you may need to polish or clean-up a bit, for a fraction of the price. That aside, they still may have won me over if the staff was remotely friendly to me – or acknowledged me at all.

Great shop. I have found wonderful jewlery and crystal pieces. My husband even surprised me with a gorgeous string of pearls. Debbie really knows her stuff!
