I called them because I wanted to know if they had a tassel in the store. I was in a hurry as I need it for my cap to attend a commencement. They did not have any and they transferred me to Seattle… they told me they could send it to this store by morning. I felt that their customer service was excellent. I left my information and they called me in the morning that it had arrived. I was impressed that they really followed up and it was in the store waiting for me to be purchased! Thank you.

I like this Book Store. They have a really good selection of books and magazines. There is a huge selection of gifts(Husky gifts as well as everyday gifts). This store has 3 levels. Downstairs houses the Art supplies and text books. The main/street level houses clothing, coffee shop and books. Upstairs has PC/Macs for sale as well as assorted game and peripheral devices; there’s a children’s books section; cards, and gift wrapping & shipping. The parking lot is convenient and validates up to 2 hours of free parking. The coffee shop is actually quite good. I had a great Iced Mocha there. Tip: Look for the«RETRO» clothing racks if you can’t stand the new«W» serif logo on your Husky themed clothing. I personally prefer the Husky(puppy head) logo or the U.W. logo. Outside of campus, the«W» logo looks too much like the signage I sometimes see outside of women’s rooms. HeHe

Still a decent bookstore with free parking. The U Bookstore in Bellevue lacks the character of it’s big brother across the Lake. The layout needs to be updated as finding what you need can be a chore.

Hmmm… a 3.5 rounded up to four because they had what I need. I’ve never been to a «University Book Store», and I imagine that the real one in Seattle would be far more impressive. This facility has somewhat smallish for what I expect for a place to buy books for classes, there is a decent amount of shelves dedicated towards art supplies, and probably 20% of the store area is dedicated towards Husky theme paraphernalia, which is mainly clothing. I didn’t see a lot of educational books, but a good amount of books that can be found in a traditional book store, of assorted topics. By educational books, I mean Math books, Calculus, Newtonian Physics, Literature theory, or music theory; I didn’t see any books of these subjects. They do have a small selection of office supplies, and surprisingly, did have a very specific type of self-locking polymer folder that I was looking for carrying paper documents, and digital media, all in a single folder. I’ve looked at other traditional office supply stores, in which they don’t have exactly what I was looking for. Should I need more of these folders for myself or my office, I’ll be sure to make a trip here to get them.

Decent store that carries different UW apparels. Alums get random discounts. It has some art supplies and other stationeries. The store is pretty big and has other random gift items. The price is not particular cheap but the stuff look nice.

This is a place for students to buy school supplies and books? Really? It’s pretty darn pricey. And no manga? What the heck? You know at least half the students that shop here buy geek related stuff right? It’s allright… I only go here if I need something. Otherwise this is not a regular shopping destination for me. HINT. They have bento boxes here(for some strange reason). Buy the same ones at Uwajimaya for ALOT less. OVER-PRICED.

I’m not sure what to say about this store. It looks like they have a nice selection of books. Cooking, kids section, some other stuff that seems like Narnia to me. About more than half of the store(which is very large) has books. No manga, though. Sorry you otaku’s or whomever. And if you’re looking for anything close to that, you’re better off with Bellevue King County library. Anyways now, in my case, I’m a wanna-be-artist, so I only go to the other side(however you’d like to call it. They have a very nice selections of pens, pencils, papers(origami, too), inks, erasers(believe it or not), anything you can dream of. For me, it’s a heaven. I can surely run 0.6 miles to this store, and oh, hi sun. How are you doing? I’m surely sweating bullets here. I’m still grateful that it carries a large variety rather than running about 30 miles to get to a larger selection in Seattle. Although, who’d run that? I guess if you get lost at night, you can just share a little box with one of their hobos, right?

Best bookstore in Bellevue. Spendy, but nice. Free gift wrapping and cross country shipping, plus free parking. But you do pay for it in the end, in the prices. That said… the customer service is awesome.

Not nearly as good as the main U bookstore in Seattle. I was quite disappointed. I went in looking for technical computer books and the selection was so poor to be laughable. Not very well laid out either. The only upside was a private parking garage to make it easy to park(without paying).
