I bought a little bit of everything so I could try them out and wow! The brownie, so decadent and delicious. The Orange Almond Cakelet, so moist and fluffy. The bread, perfect and doughy! So glad I found this place since it is so hard to find dairy, gluten and soy free baked goods that actually taste like the real thing! Gluten-Free Heaven!

Got brownies and some lemon poppy-seed loaf as a gift. Brownies were super good she reports and I have been making myself breakfast with the lemon cake. I’d love to try some of their bread, but at $ 11 its out of my price range.

Drove all the way from Lynnwood just to see if all the ranting and raving was worth it!(Granted my bestie and I were on our way to Ikea anyways) I ordered, the pecan bar, cranberry crumble thing and a loaf of the apple cinnamon coffee cake… honestly the results completely aligned with all the other 5 star reviews! I am constantly searching for the perfect gluten free baked goods. Nothing tastes as good as this place! I especially loved that they had dairy free options! Thank you for the deliciously delightful treats, that taste better than the gluten filled desserts I grew up with but no longer can indulge in. I would highly reccomend trying this place, I know I’ll be back when I get a craving for something sweet!

Everyone says«try *insert gluten free food* you won’t even know it’s gluten free»…then you take a bite and proceed to almost choke. But Wildflour is an extremely rare exception to that. The food is amazing! And there are a few items that you would truly not guess are gluten free. The sweet potato rolls tastes like slightly dense potato rolls. But still really good! Cinnamon rolls… whoa…these are the real deal! At $ 16 for 4 they better be life altering amazing… and they are! You will once have the taste of gluten baked good that left an empty hole in your heart and stomach!(Now you will just have a hole in your wallet). Pizza crust was really good. But I have had others that as good or ½ a notch better. But the price at 2 for $ 12 is not outrageous. I will be back for sure… even if I have to take out a second mortgage for cinnamon rolls.

I haven’t had Focaccia bread in 5 years since I got diagnosed with Celiac’s. Last night, I got to try Wildflour’s Focacciabread and it made me happier than any anti-depressant has ever made me.

Really tasty treats from this bakery… though I wish they offered more without dairy and legumes. Still, whenever I’m on the mainland I always try to place an order and enjoy whatever I get. Most recently it was the double chocolate chip cookies that were so good. I wish they would ship at least within WA State!

OMG… even if celiacs disease didn’t require me to be on a GF diet, this would still be my favorite bakery ever! The owner has absolutely perfected GF baking from the tea loaves, to the baguettes, to the focaccia, and everything in between. Nobody I serve her goods to EVER know it’s GF. Absolutely fabulous bakery! I encourage everyone to try it!

The tl;dr: I love Wildflour so much I wanna take it out behind the middle school and get it pregnant.(Sorry, I’m on a 30 Rock rewatching binge) Here’s the full review, for you folks who aren’t easily intimidated: I feel like this should be my final Unilocal review ever, as I am awarding this bakery ALLOFMYSTARS. Which is a lot. Because this place is actually heaven. I’m one of those people who is legitimately, doctor-diagnosed allergic to gluten without Celiac. People are a lot more patient with people who have Celiac, because hey, who’s heard of Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis anyway? I’m tired of being accused of a fake allergy, but that’s another rant. That said, I’m usually sick and ridiculously inflamed because I’m terrible at compliance to the strict diet I should be keeping to – it’s tough to resist delicious foods! Wildflour is basically the only reason I’m able to go long stints without getting sick — all of the delightful carby comfort foods are made here, but made safe. Along with being severely intolerant to gluten, I’m supposed to avoid soy and dairy products as well — but Wildflour makes that SO easy, as everything is clearly labeled with allergens. And obviously, they’re a gluten-free facility so if your only issue is gluten, rest assured you will be super safe and incredibly happy with anything you purchase here. Now that I’ve talked about things only sick people care about, let’s get to the real important part: Taste. I’ve tried(ahem): French bread, cinnamon raisin pecan loaf, honey quinoa loaf, the frozen hamburger sesame seed buns, the frozen hot dog buns, frozen pizza crusts, double chocolate zucchini tea loaf, lemon poppy seed with lemon icing tea loaf, frozen cinnamon rolls, orange almond cakelets, dairy-free/soy-free chocolate chip cookie, key lime pie and a handful of their other seasonal items. So it’s safe to say I’ve tried a huge chunk of their menu, which is how I can make the following blanket statement: It’s all delicious. Match these products next to any gluten-packed alternative and I would pick Wildflour every time from a taste standpoint(and feel much better about it from a tummy standpoint, but that’s probably TMI for you). I brought even brought some tea loaves and cakelets to Kristin C.‘s wedding for my fellow gluten-free folks and it was enjoyed thoroughly by both the GF and the ‘normal’ eaters. My very favorite is the lemon poppy seed tea loaf(which is totally available at Whole Foods and PCC on the Eastside!) and it is moist, smells amazing, and if people weren’t explicitly told it was gluten/dairy/soy free, nobody would question it. As soon as you walk into the store it’s nearly impossible to resist the smells — but as those of us who do our best to stay gluten-free know, there are some products that smell amazing but don’t live up to it. Or worse, they’re *dry* and are impossible to swallow because they’re so blah. You have my personal Allie S. guarantee that you will not find dry products that you need to pair with liberal hydration. Actually, that’s probably the Wildflour guarantee, but hey, you can put my name on it as well. Last but not least, everyone here is ridiculously helpful and knowledgeable about the products they’re selling… and they usually have samples, so you don’t have to feel like you’re throwing $ 9 into the unknown. Best gluten-free bakery ever, in my humble, albeit correct, opinion.

This place is amazing! I just tried their lemon and raspberry scone(heaven!!) and Kenna coffee cookies and they blew my mind, so rich and flavorful. Don’t forget to check their fridge, filled with all sorts of goodies. I also got some double chocolate chip cookies but still haven’t tried them. I’m not a gluten free diet type of person but I love their products and would definitely recommend this place. Also very friendly customer service, and they have samples of everything!

This place is a great bakery. Gluten free and Dairy free was a bonus for us. I would come here just because the products are so good. Tucked away in a small retail building its a bit of a ‘gem’ in the wall. The lemon poppy cake is exceptional. Moist on the inside, firm enough to slice without crumbling with lemon glaze that lights up the tongue. We tried an assortment of cookies including Seahawks themed M&M before the Superbowl. Every cookie was well made. Distinct flavors and the right amount of crunch without being dry. We will be back for the bread.

I have a friend that has Celiac disease so eating wheat is out of the question. I thought it would be a nice treat to have some pastries that were gluten free. Usually you find places like this with items that resemble cardboard or chalky rocks served by hippies. If this place was in Seattle, the workers would be pierced to the max with massive ink. Since this is Bellevue, the only ink was in the pen on the counter and visible piercings are in the ears. The pastries here are fantastic! In a blind taste test you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between wheat based and gluten free. If you need to get rid of wheat in your diet, but can’t get rid of pastries, this is the place to go. I highly recommend the pecan squares, the cinnamon rolls… actually anything in this place. Okay, so why the 4 star instead of 5? Price. Maybe the ingredients cost more, but if they were the same as a wheat based bakery I would give them 5 stars. Highly recommended!!!

I’ve been popping in/around different parts here and yonder looking for gluten free excellence. I found Wildflour and was immediately pulled in by the promise of cinnamon rolls, along with the emphasis on local, seasonal products. I will try any gluten free cinnamon roll, as I miss them the most. Most end up being too crisp for me; the centers are my favorite part. It’s a pretty unassuming storefront, my understanding being the bulk of their business is done through farmer’s markets and special orders. HOWEVER, Saturdays are free-for-all cinnamon roll days, other days needing preorders of a 4 pack. I walked in, zeroed in on the cinnamon rolls, and ordered two, picking up some baguettes as well(crusty, springy). Again, many products need to be preordered(monthly menu to boot) to be guaranteed available. The cinnamon roll I ate this morning was everything a perfect cinnamon roll should be– moist, soft, generously glazed. Nuked for a short time(15 seconds), it transformed into a gooey, delicious mess. Their coffee(free! to my surprise) was the perfect companion, doctored at home with just a splash of unsweetened almond milk. Their counter service was super, and their prices were on par with most specialty bakeries; I can see myself making Wildflour a regular stop; they get bonus points for not using soy, bean, or corn flours.

I met Rebecca the owner at the Bellevue Farmer’s Market and found her products to be AWESOME! For someone(me) trying to stay off of gluten, dairy AND soy can be tough but she makes it happen, so I bought a raisin bread cake and pizza dough from her and they’re both absolutely delicious! I would recommend going in and seeing her products and you can even order for the holidays which I think I might just do!

Oh my goodness, what a find for gluten-free people everywhere! It’s small, hole in the wall, privately owned and wonderful. The staff was very friendly, nothing was dry tasting, which is a trend in gluten free breads and treats. Here is what I had: Samples of Focacia bread, French bread, and a lemon square, all very good. The breads might be too moist for some but I loved it. I bought a snickerdoodle cookie, which was soft and moist, and a lemon blueberry lavender scone that was incredible. The scone was 4 $ and the cookie was less than 3 $, which isn’t bad for delicious gluten-free treats. I will definitely be returning!

This bakery is absolutely amazing, whether you are gluten intolerant or not! I always stop by when I am on the Eastside and I’ve never been disappointed. Something that I buy regularly is their pizza crust. It is amazing and is some of the best gluten free crust I’ve had. Definitely check this place and try EVERYTHING! I guarantee it’ll be great!

I asked a friend to go to Wildflour to pick some things up for me as I currently have a mobility challenge. My friend took my list of wants and my list of allergies… and brought the most delicious goodie bag back to my house. This place has the most flavorful delicious gluten-free treats. I wanted to try their lemon poppyseed loaf and the lavender lemon bar(even though I’m sensitive to citrus). I have to say that it was so incredibly worth the rash that resulted! I liked that this bakery had cheaper goods and better quality than a lot of gluten-free vegan treats I’ve tried before. In fact, I have often wanted something like Wildflour in this area because the closest high quality gluten-free bakery I’ve ever been to are both in the Portland/Gresham areas: Back to Eden and Liberated Baking. The berry bar and the mini nutella cake were amazing. Love. Love. Love. When I recover from my injury I so will enjoy visiting this place in person. This is as good as it gets! What an absolute blessing… Thank you! :-)
