I went yesterday to get a king size mattress and I was blown away at the prices — $ 800+ for a pillow soft (NO NAME-​GENERIC) mattress. NOW IT WAS SOFT AND VERY COMFORTABLE but $ 800.00 REALLY.
The representative (pregnant Spanish girl) was very knowledgeable and wise but DANG. Based on past reviews, I just knew I was going to find a good mattress @ $ 350.00 max maybe even $ 400.00 considering delivery, smh. Well, I guess I will continue to shop around — I’ll pass…

Very honest and forthright. Will explain to you exactly what you are getting (show you legal tag that tells you what mattress is really made of) and give it to you for the best price because they don’t bother with name brands that jack up the prices. Just ask yourself, would you rather trust a huge corporation (that charges double) or a family man in your own community. I chose to buy a mattress, not a name.
He delivered it the next day, took my old mattress for free, and the delivery guy refused a tip.

I bought a new mattress today. Very satisfied with quality and price. Prices are fantastic, as good or better than the «Internet Only» stores. I spent about a month looking for the best mattress for the best price. I believe I found it.
You will find a warehouse environment. Saves money for them and for their customers. I highly recommend ignoring the industrial appearance and enjoy getting more and spending less.
Be sure to look at their «house brand» «Kingdom» line. You can save even more. I got a foam/​cotton pillow top premium mattress for only $ 404 delivered to my door. Me cheap. Me smart.
Other mattress stores are set up so the only the expensive mattresses seem acceptable. Ace has plenty of moderate priced mattresses that provide comfort and quality.

You looking for a baller mattress? Something big time? Don’t come here.
This place is NO frills, basic mattresses at great prices. Do a little research and you’ll realize the mattress industry is based around marketing and not actual quality (look into why mattresses have so many different names, prevents price comparison).
With that in mind, I needed a Full mattress for the guest room. I know it’s a guest room so I could just get a used mattress and let them deal with the pubic lice, but I’m a better host than that. So I went to Ace Mattress, got a brand new Sealy for $ 175 (tax and delivery included).
The delivery guy was a little late, but he was really nice and got the mattress in the apartment in almost record time.
So if you need a new mattress, buy one from these guys. If you need to make it a baller mattress, buy one from here and then get a memory foam topper online for like $ 70 and boom you’re sitting pretty.
Also if you are a REAL baller, go get a Hastens bed. It has horse hair in it.

Why are mattresses so damn expensive? It’s rather annoying when your budget isn’t as high. I was this close to buying my bed from IKEA. However, I am so glad I waited.
I found Ace Mattress through Craigs List. We decided to just check it out. No plans to actually purchase something.
When we got there, it was a a warehouse filled with mattresses displayed throughout. I was actually impressed. Don’t expect a high class Sit N Sleep type of establishment. This is a warehouse.
To my surprise, there were actually a lot of people there shopping. The salespeople knew their stuff too. They won’t bullshit you or pressure you at all. They will answer all your questions and they’ll tell you straight up what to expect. I didn’t feel intimidated at all.
The prices were just right! We got a full memory foam set for only $ 350. That’s like a grand less than I was about to spend elsewhere. The great thing is that weeks later, I’m still loving this bed!
Delivery was free and I got my bed the next day. We also got a memory foam pillow for $ 25. Such a deal!
Not only did I save money, I got a great bed and excellent service.
