been looking for a good old school, no gimmicks barber shop. this is it. got a haircut here for the first time 2 weeks ago. don’t know his name, but the gentleman that gave me a haircut gave me one of the best haircuts ever. conversation was easy since we are both veterans of the armed forces. worth my drive and will come back to this shop every week.

This place is amazing. I just moved to bellfower and have been looking for a barber that actually knows what they’re doing unlike most of these so called barbers which are really just swag fags. Anyway the men here are great with old fashion class and style and do things the right way. Very respectful and I found my permanent barber!!!

Wanted to try the place out for the first time since the place had some good reviews but upon entering, I wasn’t really acknowledged. Both barbers had customers but other than the two, I was the only one in there. I asked where the nearest ATM was since it was cash only and they said I’d have to go to the Arco station across the street, which I did. When I returned to the shop, they skipped me back to the back of the line because another customer had just walked in. I felt like I was intruding on their business as if they weren’t looking for any new customers.

I’ve been looking for a good spot for a haircut in my area and I’m happy to say that this place is definitely that. Not only did I get a great haircut, but I had one of the best conversations I’ve ever had with a barber. I’ll definitely be going back.
Note: they only take cash, but there are plenty of atms in the area, so that’s not a big problem.

This place is an INSTITUTION. You will NOT find a better barber with-​in a 10 mile radius of Dave’s. He has been cutting hair in that same location for over 30 years. All his barbers are the best in the business –I think he has 3 chairs. Whenever I need my haircut properly I go to Dave’s. Especially for weddings and special occasions and events BUT this place as well as the people are as down to earth as it gets. Awesome atmosphere and great cuts.

Dave is one of the best barbers I have ever met. His father was a barber and he’s been doing it himself now for at least 30 years but it’s likely over 35 years. We’re talking about a real pro.
He has 3 – 4 guys at his shop who are all skilled but Dave is the owner and the top dog. Great place for a boy’s first real haircut and for men to maintain their professional look without the foo foo salon stuff.
