Kilter Termite & Pest Control

I have 3 properties under their service. Think they are about as good as it gets. Easy to work with and responsive to your calls for service

We had a termite problem last year and called Kilter, whom we’ve used before in the past, to come and inspect.
Decided to use orange oil this time, as fumigation was costly; adding costs for accommodations for us and another family. Orange oil seemed to do the job, but have termites again. Time for yearly inspection.
They called us to schedule an appointment which was made for a time span of 11 – 1. Then, the day before our appointment, we were called to reschedule for the same day, 12 – 4.
4 o’clock passed and my husband called asking if we should wait. The answer from Jennifer was this -” We called and the phone kept on ringing and ringing and no one answered”.
A good business model would be to call again when someone answers or be sure to leave a voice mail… wouldn’t it? We were home but most likely received a call on the phone. We rescheduled. Let’s see what happens.
Only three stars due to poor customer service. Lost a day waiting and so did our tenant.

I used this company a year ago. Everyone I have spoken to or met from this company has been businesslike but also friendly and most importantly, normal. I knew I had termites but was wary of pest control companies. The employees of the companies I had used or knew of in the past seemed like they’d inhaled too much of the pesticide. They reminded me of the bug guy in Men In Black!
Not the Kilter employees. They worked hard and were pleasant to have around. Their price is reasonable for the work they do. And now, a year later, there’s just one spot that had the termite droppings. I opted for the yearly check and will continue to do so.
My only reason for four stars instead of five is their large window for appointments. I know in this business you cannot be exact, but four hours is just too much time to be taking off work for pest control.

I am truly grateful to kilter because they have removed our pest problems.
It was a serious pest problem.
Our house had tons of pests like termites, ants and cockroaches. At least we had no rats because it would have been a more horrible experience for us.
Kilter pest control solved our pest problems like it was nothing for them. They provided pest control services that were safe for my family. Also, they came out on the exact time and date that we have agreed for their appointment. I was really excited to see how things would go for the guys who came were upbeat professionals. In just a couple of hours, the guys from Kilter decimated the pest population inside our house.

Far as I know, they did ok. But then again how I can I be sure? I have to take their word for it. What I DO know is that the office staff (Jessica Saucedo) leave a lot to be desired when it comes to customer service. I left a message on their phone Monday when they supposedly were not in (mid-​day?!) Never a call back even though I told them it was regarding a billing matter (not a complaint about the amount, just a request they send a receipt). When I called back the next day in the afternoon and asked why my phone message had not been returned she could not have cared less. Pretty much a «Whadda ya want? attitude. After spending over $ 1200.00 do you think I could have been treated a little more cordially?
This is an update. Called for termites in the family room. Service person came out and readily identified the problem and quickly treated. Very knowledgeable and professional. The original person that was scheduled had run into a problem so this gentleman was re-​routed to fill in and keep the appointment on time… very impressive. Thanks Kilter!

If i could give these people no stars I would. We paid $ 1300 up front to cover us for the whole year, yet we still hear scratching every night from the rats getting inside the house. We have had this problem for over 7 months now. We keep trying to schedule another appointment but they never show up the day they say they will and keep rescheduling. They even once sent a termite guy by mistake when we had told them multiple times that we had a serious rat problem. I won’t disparage him because he was nice enough to check our house even though he isn’t the rodent expert and hadn’t brought the proper equipment. He had even informed us that the previous workers that had initially set up our traps, were done so incorrectly. This company has been very unprofessional, completely ignoring clients once they have their money. As soon as our contract runs out, I am hiring someone else. I am never working with this company again.

Greatest Company Ever. They handle our spider problem. I call them directly and they call after the service to make sure we are satisfied. Hi Geo
