Waited 25 minutes after being seated and no server approach us to take our order and the restaurant was not even full/busy. We decided to leave. Worst place ever with flies inside the restaurant. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

The food is so good here… I would give it 5 stars, but they are a bit slow in giving u ur food. Other than that, the food is amazing. Kids love the food. The seating inside is a bit odd, but u can sit outside as they have a patio.

I’m a native of Mazatlan Mx and as a matter of fact my elementary and high school happen to be in the picture used on their menu. Nothing is like the real thing but this place is pretty good. The Marlin tacos are good but skip the cheese(that part is not authentic), the shrimp consommé is awesome, fried fish a lot better than most, the shrimp cocktails are good, can be served warm or cold(warm is the norm in Mazatlan) and the ceviche is not bad. I recommend it if you are in the area. Prices are very reasonable.

I liked this restaurant. Has a very Mexican feel. They don’t have a lot of seating inside but they have a great patio outside. Very spacious with a lot of seating. Felt like a outdoor patio in Rosarito. Great to go in the summer. My family and I went during lunch time during the week. It wasn’t packed at all it had 2 other tables occupied. I asked the waitress if it got more people on the weekend and she said yes, that there was usually a wait on the weekends. The food is good. The tostada de ceviche de camaron tasted exactly the way it was supposed to taste. My son had a wet burrito and he said it was juicy and tasty. My husband had a shrimp cocktail and it had tons of shrimp. I loved that they kept bringing out the chips, didn’t have to keep asking. Over all I like it and the only reason I gave it a 3 stars was because my daughter wanted fries and they had ran out. I would like to come back and try it again.

Awesome seafood. My picky husband never wants to try new restaurants but we finally had lunch here. Their service is friendly. I would totally recommend this place

Firstly, I appreciate the variety of salsas/sauces on the table… each one unique and savory. Now, the food was Amazing… We ate swordfish tacos, ceviche, aguachile, and something that came in foil, similar to an «enpapelado”(wrapped in wax paper), that was heavenly… I was already full but I kept eating it anyway. it was that good! if you like mariscos, its a spot to hit up fo’ sho’!.

This place was first introduced to me by my girl. She insisted it was a great place for authentic Mexican food, and after numerous meals, i must agree. The wet burrito is excellent. The fish tacos, perfection. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is one of relaxation and enjoyment. A hidden gem in the midst of Bellflower, CA

The staff was dressed with some very short and tight skirts. I can see why older gents like to come here. I had the shrimp tacos and was very impressed with the flavor. I love the shrimp broth soup that they bring out compliments of the house. I also had a campechana and a Michelada made with tecate. I liked it but my friend did not. Im not sure if I would go back but it was a place you should atleast experience once for yourself. Cheers

The seafood is ok, I think it’s too expensive for what they serve you. I don’t mind paying $ 12.00 for a shrimp order but I do mind when there’s only 4 pieces of shrimp and the rest are rice and beans.

I am truly mystified at all the 5 star ratings for this place. I mean really? Come on. When you pull up it’s positively scary, it looks like a building from the 50’s that’s been abandoned. I double checked the Unilocal review and address and yep, this was the place. We were seated immediately and our server took our drink order. She was friendly though I was a little disturbed by the electric pink mini mini mini skirt she was wearing. While we waited for our food we were assaulted with the Spanish version of a Jerry Springer on the T. V and a crazy loud jukebox playing polka/marching band music. When the food arrived, it was good. Fine but certainly not something to rave about. But, on the plus side, the Marlin taco was something new to try and the Horchata was tasty. It was an inexpensive meal, $ 25 for 2 but I don’t see ever returning.

Grilled Marlin tacos are SUPERBOMB! the main reason that keeps me coming back. Ask for either the small or large size tacos, and you’ll receive a good portion of smoked marlin with avocado and cheese. Top it off with their sauces and beans on the side… wow delicious! They specialize in seafood and Mexican food. Another of my favorites is the«Camarones Millonarios”-Millionaire Shrimp, which are shrimp in a white sauce with mushrooms topped with melted cheese. Served with white rice. Most meals come with a small broth with a shrimp(head attached). Enchiladas suizas, campechanas or grilled fish i recommend. I also enjoy their micheladas. Plenty of parking, plenty of TVs. They also cater.

Very good traditional Mexican food. Love the smoke fish taco: it’s grilled with cheese and avacado. Combo with rice and beans, it’s so perfect. Rice and beans are cooked very nicely. Chip & salsa is great. They have this hot sauce that has a good kick to it. Restaurant is big and has a lot of seating with TVs. They offer buffet bar at night. You won’t regret going there!

With a party of 10 on a Tuesday… great Service. very attentive; regardless if we were almost the only people there. Chips and salsa… good especially with the 2 salsa selections and with limes on the table… a big thumbs up for that effort. I had a wet burrito which was pretty good; except it could have used more meat in the burrito. This is a place that has been around for a while and used to be a hamburger joint a while back. They specialize in seafood and nobody in my party had any complaints. Portion size was good. Waitresses aren’t hard the eyes either. Not a high end joint; more of a local place. Hey they even have a water fountain in the main area and a TV in case something is on. Music playing through the speakers. They make valid attempt. that’s for sure. Go give it a try if your in the area. When we have parties sometimes, this is where the rice and beans and sometimes the enchilada’s are picked up.
